This is my favorite remix because it's so faithful to the original - especially that dreamlike quality that's difficult to capture. Reminds me of why I love "The Legend of Zelda: Sound and Drama" music so much. Also, those flutes remind me of the Golden Sun OST!
I come back every few years to listen to this… and now I am pregnant and play it for my baby that is in the belly at night :) thank you for keeping this video up!
Sounds so calm & relaxing. Even if I was super pissed off, I could just listen to this music & totally feel at peace. Too bad I couldn't put this in a CD player (or an Ipod if I had 1) & just listen to it while trying to fall asleep. Would work well on nights I have a hard time falling asleep.
This remix manifested a man-tear. this was my favorite song as a child, and this song perfectly reflects the mood and situation of the song. If they ever make a remake of these games, this would be the perfect replacement song for the ruins. It's a beautiful rendition of an already amazing song. There's no way this isn't going into my favorites.
@Mysterious Meon somebody said that antennas can still do it without Capcom‘s permission or something like that. The oracle games are a masterpiece that definitely needs a remake. So I hope people like you are proved wrong

Finding this place for the first time as a kid sparked my imagination. What was the purpose of these mysterious ruins? Who built them? Where did they all go? When I returned to this game as a young adult, eventually finishing it, I found that none of these questions were really answered. It's kind of poetic. We're never really meant to know, and so the nature of the Tarm Ruins remains a mystery.
I wouldn't even be mad if Nintendo used this theme and location again in the next Zelda as long as they add to it and make it look different due to it being in a different time period and/or timeline.

@JenOtaku123 Yeah, it would definitely be a challenge to really make that song sound decent while staying faithful to the original. Right now I'm working on re-doing the Spirit Temple from OoT as well as some original choral stuff. I'll probably get around to doing the Sword and Shield Maze at some point though :)
I absolutely love this remix. The original version was fantastic, but this took it to a whole new level. The gentle, solemn feel of this version really brings the mystery and apprehension of the ruins to life. Very well done! Keep up the good work.

@DaxB92 Sounds like a good challenge, but I've been dabbling quite a bit with writing for a band on the side so it may not be any time soon...also, the original track kinda has an airy rock feel to it already so I may end up just using my guitar as the primary instrument anyway.
