The detachment itself basically stops working after turn 3 as well. Since you have to take a vow at the start of your turn. You can’t repeat vows. There are also only 3 vows. So turn 4 & 5 you basically don’t get a benefit from your detachment. Rules change obviously. By the time you assemble and paint your repentia, penitent engines, arcos, etc. The detachment could be bonkers. Just know, that currently, it might as well be unplayable.

Also, their true strength is sheer, overwhelming firepower. And the options to have the right weapon to put the right warhead on the right forehead at any given time. Yes, a single Guardsman with a lasgun is pretty mediocre. But the reality is he is only there to pin the enemy down so that the Baneblade rolling up behind him can turn the enemies frontline into smoking craters.

You know, I was thinking that Advent have some parallels with Chaos gods. We have Khorn which like extreme violence and have army of ruffian demoons. Then there is blue raven Tzinch. And then there is Slanesh with his archivers(keepers of secrets) and unhinged pleasures. Only thing is, that Biboo is nothing like Nurgle.
Khorne players tend to be pretty happy guys. They are the guys who go to a shop, do a game and win or lose they don’t care because they have to go pick up their kids. You don't care, you just want to play.

The Astra militarum is just normal people, the cadians are warp infected though all the infection does to them is make them more resistant to it and makes their eyes purple. In space marine 2 it's mostly just normal Astra militarum with some cadian regiments sprinkled in for cool speeches and as a reference. It's like that in most warhammer games I've seen. Like you have 3-4 cadian units inside of a battalion sized element of Astra militarum and the cadians naturally coalesce into their own subsect of the fighting force. Cadians aren't normal, the Astra militarum is normal.

Vtubers are mostly anime fans. Anime fans are highly susceptible to brainrot. Warhammer lore is city-buster grade brainrot. And those Bricky videos are like unexploded ordinance. I’m just happy Matara was one of the first to find them.
He made the perfect primer videos. Gives you enough info to get the vibe of each faction and potentially get you hooked on the lore of that faction, without bogging you down with all the little bits of lore. Gets you started on your own path.

You know, I was thinking that Advent have some parallels with Chaos gods. We have Khorn which like extreme violence and have army of ruffian demoons. Then there is blue raven Tzinch. And then there is Slanesh with his archivers(keepers of secrets) and unhinged pleasures. Only thing is, that Biboo is nothing like Nurgle.

Her getting cadians mixed up with the Astra militarum hurts my soul so deeply... the cadians don't suck, I think the cadians have as much if not more fight in them than the kriegsmarine. It's a shame that bricky doesn't know his lore very deeply because I've seen a couple of Vtubers make the same misconception because of his videos. Sadge.
It doesn't help that ANY time Guard show up in a video game, it's almost always Cadians because they're the most recognisably "normal" human soldiers.
@Candlemancer This isn't true either. The Astra militarum is just normal people, the cadians are warp infected though all the infection does to them is make them more resistant to it and makes their eyes purple. In space marine 2 it's mostly just normal Astra militarum with some cadian regiments sprinkled in for cool speeches and as a reference. It's like that in most warhammer games I've seen. Like you have 3-4 cadian units inside of a battalion sized element of Astra militarum and the cadians naturally coalesce into their own subsect of the fighting force. Cadians aren't normal, the Astra militarum is normal.
I think it's hysterical Biboo grasps the theme so much better than some losers who are like FUCK YEAH HUMANITY FIRST unironically.
