Watching this video for the third time, what I've been missing is to actually punch out of the roundoff...for some reason I thought just to let the roundoff power and blocking angle do the work....but I now see he actually jumps with the punch and the end of the roundoff
When you go for a high roundoff flashkick instead, do you flip the same way as a whip while blocking the roundoff at the angle you use for the high backflip, or is there something else to it?
So if we want enough height for a double, what is the best head position ? Are you looking forward during takeoff (before tucking)? I can’t quite tell 😅
Im learning a round off back flip because i just learned a standing back flip I leaned by mistake kind of i was trying to learn a cheat gainer bcuz i thought it was easier but i wasnt landing it so i took a break, the cheat gainer practise got rid of my fear for going backward so after i came back from my break there was a feeling in my gut telling me to try a backflip so i just went for it with no progressions i just went for it i didnt land it but it felt great and by far easier than a cheat gainer so i tried again and on my second try i landed it so practically i hold the record for the fastest backflip learned literally on fove muinites
that's how a lot of people including me learned to backflip. it's a move that really has no progression. you can do macacos as much as you'd like but sending it is really the only way to learn it. good job
Great Do you have any tip for me to learn flips faster? I learn moves in a long time what shoul I do? Alot of people say practice but it does't work until I know a secret of it.
Land your setup with a slightly low chest position, stay tensed to absorb the power of the setup, bounce as straight upwards as high as possible. This is good blocking described. The key is to not land the previous trick with your chest too high.
@@johzuke1 well for me I can do 3 back flips in a row without stoping. But I can’t even do one front flip. And me actually landing on it feels like a achievement 😂 trampoline btw
You just have to practice a few times and you will succeedYou just have to practice a few times and you will succeed BUT be careful cuz at last time I remember practicing I didn't flipped back enough and it end up breaking my neck 💀
Let's be honest, does that really matter at all 😅 The intention is all that matters. For me a layout is a regular style backflip with no tuck. Whip is a bhs style backflip, low and fast and you can punch another one from it if you want. But it's just terms and people have different definitions so you can't really argue what's right or wrong 🤷♂️
the fact that is jumping so high makes my brain melt
This is the exact video I needed!!! Thank you
Struggled with this for years before my injury, this was an amazing tutorial. Hope to train it soon!

Oh my god! ROUND OFF DOUBLE BACK right off the top!
You're so amazing, a high rounded double backflip

I get confused on leg movement and back arch hope this video helps I have one flipping video
can u give tips for a simple backflip ? I dont know how to jump hight and rotate faster
You basically just gotta jump high and tuck harder. Raise your shoulder up when you jump and raise your knees towards your chest to initiate the flip.
I wanna see a back full tutorial be used tricking ways,
Where are you from bro
bro you def can dunk
I landed my first flat backflip 2020 early

You haven't watched my Vlog "Training Hard with a Tricking Legend" 😉
I have so much height on the ground out of a round off but I’m to scared to do a round off backflip on the grass. I have one on the trampoline
Just gotta get over the mental block somehow.
@@johzuke1 yeah. I’ll get there one day

Please tell me that after the round off , should I jump backwards or upwards to do the backflip

Why is front flip harder than back flip ;-;
For some it is like this and for some it's other way round.
@@johzuke1 well for me I can do 3 back flips in a row without stoping. But I can’t even do one front flip. And me actually landing on it feels like a achievement 😂 trampoline btw
And for some it's the opposite 😁 Someone else could be doing frontflip x3 and be afraid of commit ing to even one backflip.
LOL i always struggle with front things, like front handspring and front flips, but my back things are good. I thought it was just me who thought that

Impossible to say why it didn't work for you. Your starting level, time spent training, mind muscle connection, other training, recovery etc.

Its a back layout not whip and yours hands are wrong during the back straight
