i love how this transformer shifts and becomes very bulky in just the right way makes him feel more of a new take on soundwave rather than a movie inspired version

Well, that's because when they needed toys to import from Japan-based company Takara's multiple transforming toylines, they looked at the face of the "Cassette Man" toy and worked around that to create the Decepticon logo. That's why it looks that way. Side-note: Similar to the Decepticon logo story, the Autobot symbol was based on the Prowl toy face. It's definitely less obvious than the Soundwave instance, but you put the toy's face side-by-side with the symbol, you can definitely see it.
This guy is so good! His alt modes are very cool and his robot mode looks so beefy and I love it! It's something I've never really seen in a Soundwave before.
That Brawler body looks really cool. I like how he has what looks likes the drivers of a speaker (that circular thing that pulses with sound) covering his whole body. He really looks like he could incapacitate a small Autobot army with those numerous things.

Really good work, RollOut! Bay Soundwave has never looked better, and I've never seen illegal building techniques used so expertly in a Legoformer before. Transformation is excellent. I look forward to seeing what you'll do next!

I love how the designs of the Lego versions of transformers feel more complicated than the cartoon, but a lot less complicated than the movies. I just feel like it’s the perfect amount of easy to look at

I was building a mini mech and I remember soundwave and I was inspired and transformed that mech into a satellite equal to soundwave even built your ravage design
One thing I have noticed with the differences of Autobots and Decepticons colors are different decepticons colors are usually gray and black while autobots have colors that stand out witch is pretty cool
