I'm a cat person, but I don't believe i'm fully realized yet. I've had a connection to cats since I was small, my cats used to be my only refuge when it came to my abusive father. I have moments of being really confident, I love being the unique individual that I am (sometimes), I'm a mama's kid, I'm pretty lazy, and i'm hot and cold, I also have prophetic dreams. Maybe i'm a feral cat? I looked at that spirit guide too.
When I first saw this video I took it with a grain of salt, because it seemed to portray cats as capricious in a way that was almost cruel. However, I have since actually gotten a cat, and he's almost a direct mirror of my own personality, albeit more self-assured.
He came into my life before I even got him, in a dream. He looked the same and had almost the exact same name. People describe him as extremely friendly, and he is able to win over people who aren't cat people pretty easily. He greets everyone at the door like it's his job, and likes almost everyone. He is a big ginger cat who can't fit in my lap unless he's sitting. Until he figured out he could sit comfortably in my lap, he would look at me like it was my fault that I wasn't somehow bigger 🤣
I always knew that cats could be affectionate and even attached, and he is living proof. He will curl up next to me like he is attached to my hip and can't possibly move.
The whole of my experience has made me realize I do have cat energy. I just express it differently because of my experiences. I'm a little more concerned about what other people think than one might expect, but I have my reasons and I'm working to overcome them. I now realize that the parts that I disagree with in the video are the parts where you described the cat from somebody else's perspective. From a cat person's perspective, cutting somebody off might be necessary after they have not been listened to for a certain amount of time. Or they might be deep in their own Mo and just not be aware of how they come off to others.
For years, I doubted my own cat-like characteristics because of how cats are often portrayed. However, since getting a cat, I now feel like I have a deeper understanding of what cat energy is. People who are confused about cat energy just need to interact with more cats. So here's to all of the affectionate cat people! All of the cat people who adore their friends and would do anything for them! All of the cat people who need people time, all of the cat people who are still working on their self-confidence, and most of all, all of the cat people who have someone who has had the audacity to try to dictate who they are. Raise a glass!

My cat Kismet AKA The Boy has made a friend..I think...Large Black boy cat. Comes in whenever he pleases and munches on The Boy's food.. The Boy seems to like him..they sit on the window sill together chatting and washing ears. They visit each others homes. Cats are LOVELY mysterious creatures! MEOW!

cats are everywhere i go. i’ve met them all over the world, they’re my guides and also my totems. for a long time i was criticized for not having children or a partner it’s not that i didn’t want these things i just didn’t attract them instead i attracted cats! so now 5 cats into my journey I’m finally accepting that i’m a cat lady haha 💚

Would it help you to know that at one point, I was a Christian, too? Girl, I taught Sunday school; drove 4 hours round-trip to go to church every Sunday (and sometimes Saturday); sang in the choir, often as the lead (I was a bonified Gospel singer, in fact), and could quote the Bible chapter and verse. I also tithed religiously and worried endlessly about being Raptured all all my friends being left behind. These days, I have numerous pastors/preachers/church leaders of all kinds among my clients, and indeed, many of my clients themselves are Christians. The work I do is not anti-Christian, nor anti any faith...It is about finding and honoring the part of ourselves that knows how to move in tune with the Divine, whatever form that takes for us. I *am* anti-guilt, but that is because guilt does nothing but stand in the way of us living the full lives we were put here to live, the kind of lives that allow us to give the most love to ourselves and to others and the world. As to your other question, if I am understanding you correctly, you are asking what I would say to those in your area of the world who refuse to wake UP and see the readily observable magic in life? I would tell you that there is nothing that YOU personally can do to change this, except honor yourself and your own beliefs and feelings and live from that place to the best of your ability. At the end of the day, it is our ENERGY that changes lives, not our words, nor even our actions. However, I would also recommend you check out one of my dearest friends, Anneke Van der Veen at the TH-cam channel, Kismet Spiral. My family has always called me the "cat" of the family bcs every time i go on a walk i run into atleast 1 stray cat....and every time they come right up to me and rub on me and follow me for a bit......ive always loved and adored cats i actually own 3 (Milo,Binx,and Meeko) i also am the one who is always upstairs in my room or outside, its actually funny bcs i can be argueing with my sister and then she pulls out gum and im just like a cat being like "OH CAN I HAVE SOME" after being a dick about something..........I could bet i was a cat in my past life bcs I've never liked getting my nails cut and as ive grown i used them as self defense (im 13 btw) you can see a beautiful example of this on my older brothers arms , ive always been a very clean person I have to have a shower everyday i don't mind getting dirty ive wallowed in mud many times but at the end of the day I NEED A BATH, i tend to not care about people unless they have food then im a darling, and i stare at people that bother me.......my siblings say its kinda intimidating bcs i give that look like im gonna get up and kill them😆

It's impossible to tell, M. Because we all have at least a handful of totems, and we never really know when we will be working with which, this is not something that you can use to estimate compatibility. Your best bet here is to check out your and your BF's Venus placements in your astrological charts, as well as what each of you has in the 11th house (House of Friendship). Even this isn't conclusive, however. Your best bet? If you bring out the best in each other, you're compatible :)

I relate very much to the things said here .... except for one thing:
While I very well know what I want and like in most areas and stick to these things regardless of what others say, I can hardly call myself a confident person.
I have a social anxiety problem, and I tend to take things personally rather quickly - if it is something that hits a sore spot, that is. If I don't have a problem with this particular thing, personally, then my reaction is most likely "whatever" and moving on. If I do, though, it hits me quite hard. Not because it comes from someone else in terms of me caring about an outsider's opinion, but because of a purely personal dissatisfaction with the subject itself in relation to me (I'm very self-critical, even perfectionistic).
So, is it still possible that cat is my totem!?

Mystic Dandelion Yes, you can have it both ways :-) Essentially, what it sounds like is going on for you is that you are really experiencing the Cat part of your journey at this time (and these "parts" can go on for yeeeeeeeears). During this time, one of your totems--in this case, Cat--would be more in your awareness, and it's wisdom would be a bigger part of your lessons than the wisdom of your other totems. So during times like this, one totem is doing most of the message-delivery, and is therefore acting like a spirit guide. Does that make sense to you?

Help! I had a really vivid Dream a week ago. I call it a vision because it was so vivid and I was so conscious in the dream.
This super cute, what I think was a cute black mouse, really clean, puffy, healthy and it had a lot of love. It ran up to me
like it wanted me to hold it... the overall feeling was Love, cute and happy! I am not sure if it was a mouse because it was so puffy and clean and healthy... any thoughts? It felt like a gift was coming to me...

LOL! In a manner of speaking, yes! And that's a great thing! :-) Cat People know how to put themselves first (or if they do not already know this, it is among the biggest lessons they get to learn), which is something most of us have been taught we are not allowed to do. Putting ourselves first means that we give ourselves the rest, play, and time to ourselves that we need to be our healthiest and happiest selves. Too, because of this, Cat People inspire OTHER people to take better care of themselves and their own needs rather than relying endlessly on others. I'm actually rather a fan of appropriate selfishness :-)

Wow your good! Being male and cat minded I felt everything you said was very accurate, being male and cat spirited I often like my space, alerted easily at night, bond closely with my male friends and get accused of being snobbish and or airheaded but on the other handi usually come around at the wrong or right time and dont sense but feel when something about to or already happened. .. in my family ive been dubbed as bad luck. And with dating I like to notice and not be noticed. Aggressive behavior is rude and annoying and being patted rubbed or violated makes me aggro... I seen alot of these blog's but you nailed it kudos

Before a sexual assault I kept seeing a rat - it's three years later and all I'm seeing are cats - first it was just black cats now it's all coloured cats and white horses - why am I seeing these in a time that's so difficult??

I've not seen cats in years yet every time I come home there is a black one walking around my home - if I go for a walk or a drive there is one there -
Also one cat dumped out Infront of my car in the highway - I tried to swerve but it happened so fast I hit it - surprised I didn't get killed - I'm a vegetarian and live animals - so I stopped and tried to go back and find the cat but there was nothing on the road or ditch - it was very strange - I came home and cried for over a week not sure if I killed the cat - it traumatised me and really messed me up emotionally -

Michelle, the best piece of advice I can give you is to GET OUT of that abusive situation. We are never intended to remain in a state of fear and suffering; the goal is always to discover our own power and trust that the Universe will support us if we take steps to cease being victims. I know it's frightening, and you can't possibly know the outcome - you wouldn't have stayed otherwise - but YOU CAN DO IT. Hi Jordana.. Me again! I can't help myself, I LOVE this vlog! Can I possibly be Cat And Owl? Both animals are very important to me. My home is FULL of cat statuettes (not tacky though) and Owls too. I have a large and beautiful Owl Tattoo ( though some people seem to think it is a parrot! VERY distressing!) Just listening to Cat as a totem here I completely resonate with it. It IS how I am. And believe me when I say that I have brought lazyness to new and amazing levels! Naps are on my CV as one of my hobbies. But when I listen to owl, I also see that I am that... Confusing.. But then I like a mystery. You have a wicked sense of humour. When I have saved up some money (lazyness does not pay, unless you do sleep studies..now there's a thought..) I must have a reading via Skype! I have ben trying to set it up but all a bit vexing and complicated.. long story. Anyway, BLESS YOU! I am very happy to have found you. I think you are somewhat diffrent yourself.. and Old people seem to like you. I am not old, well not physically just yet, mentally I am an antique! But I can see how old people would be drawn to you. In my experience, most people have about 3-to-6 of which they are aware, with others surfacing during different times of their life. I read once that everyone has 9, but I have no idea if that is true! I, myself, have 5 that I am absolutely certain are totems, and one that I believe is a long-term spirit guide whose lessons I have yet to resolve. I would be thrilled to do a reading for you when you are ready. You can also keep an eye on my FB Page, Google + Page and Blog (I repeat the same post at each), since I usually give away a free reading each month. Last month, I gave away a full astrological chart and interpretation from my mother, the astrologer extraordinaire, and the month before, I gave away a full healing session. By the way Jordana. I'd say that the One thing that really matters to Moggies is TRUST. All my cats are rescue, two of them just showed up on my doorstep and are still with me. I have noticed it takes cats a Long time to settle and trust. One has to be very patient and loving. I talk with them, and listen to them, and learn about what they like and don't like etc etc. It is an amazing journey. I get the same energy from the Barn Owl I know.. Very cautious and choosy too, rightly so of course. I think these totems teach us about Boundaries. And discernment too. Love and light is all very well.. but some people are better avoided. Raven is significant for me as well, and crow, spider, wolf White tiger and horse. Politicians are usually bacteria!
Oh and to say Thank You! Here's a little recipe (as it were) for conker spiderwebs! We use conkers, that fall from trees.. but I now use polymer clay as it doesn't degrade.. It's the clay you put in the oven, it comes in all kinds of colors too. You make a ball with the clay, then get a LONG wooden cocktail stick and prick holes around the ball in a measured and straight line, about 8 will do. Then put the clay ball in the oven 160 degrees 15minutes should do, but the larger the ball the longer..You paint the sticks any color you like or leave them with the wooden hue. Then you get together a load of yarn, color color color! And wind it around, and around.. etc. At the end of all that you can put further LITTLE balls on the end of the sticks.. Use superglue to cement the cocktail sticks into the clay ball. It is something I used to do as a child and just recently have been doing it again, hours of fun, what with cats helping!
kismet valk Kismet, I LOVE this! I had to look up "conkers," though! LOL! It's not a term I had ever heard before, probably due to a geographic difference. I remember doing these as a kid, and I had totally forgotten about them. I can't recall what we called them, but I remember loving the almost meditative process of wrapping the yarn and the endless variation of color you could create. Last night, my husband and I were saying that our cat-friendly tree needed a little more pizzaz. I just happen to have several different colors of glittery yarn, and I had intended to stop at the craft store today anyway. I think these may be just what our Christmas tree needs--sparkly, colored spider webs! This may actually be my favorite suggestions from a viewer that I have EVER received. Thank you so much!!!!!! Well.. perhaps it is time I looked at Hedgehog now! In the summer I woke up one night to strange snuffling noises and little crackly sounds... It was about midnight with a full moon. I went over to my window and right there on the grass was a board meeting held by Hedgehogs! About eight of them! Making all the weird noises (voting?), and no doubt disgussing events (annoying and destructive humans and what to do about them?). I watched them for quite a while, (until the speaker of the house told me to get lost! This is Hedgehog Busyness!!). Time went by and summer has given way to winter now. As I was looking out of my living room window at Ten am yesterday I saw a Young Hedgehog rummaging around.. Not a good thing as he/she is normally nocturnal and won't get throught winter now.. So, I picked (Called him/her Fred) up and made him comfortable in box with food and hot water bottle. He had some food (a good sign0 and went to sleep. I found the Hedgehog rescue people here in Plymouth Devon. Kismet AKA The boy (my cat) was very curious and tried to get into the box (formerly HIS box) with said hedgehog// Ouch!! But Fred The Hedgehog should now be well and wintering at Hedgehog rescue till end Of March.

Jordana, the word "familiar" came up with cat energy for me, as well as this cat energy being rather cosmic looking (¿) and incredibly secretive. When I looked up the term of a familliar... it was all a bit negative ... meaning it was alluding to entity attachments. Does this resonate with You?
Oh, GAH, people do love to rain on our warm-fuzzy parade, don't they! Toss all that "entity attachment" garbage right out the window, Moons. If your Cat felt good to you, its presence is intended to facilitate you in some way in helping or supporting yourself. "Entities" are really only an issue when we are in an EXTREMELY, DEVASTATINGLY HOPELESS place - like the LOWEST our vibration can possibly go, as sometimes happens in the wake of trauma or a psychotic break - and you clearly are not in that space! As for the term "familiar", the Universe gives us messages that we will understand, or the whole delivery system would be utterly useless. Consider what connotations the word "familiar" has for you personally, and go with those. For example, when I think of "familiar", I think about the classic witch's familiar, a fun and loving companion that assists the witch with his/her spellwork (For the record, I haven't done spellwork in decades, because I no longer find it necessary, but it can be a fun way of focusing one's energies in the right direction for some folks). You could think of this as a particular creature reminding the witch of certain qualities within him/herself that s/he needs to invoke in order to create the life that supports him/her. However, I'm pretty sure that if I brought up the term "familiar" in context with witchcraft, a number of my very religious neighbors would have some very fearful things to say about it! So if the term "familiar" showed up for THEM, it would be the Universe's way of indicating that they are in a state of fear about something. Go with how your Cat FEELS and not what anyone else suggests about it, and you'll receive what you are intended to receive (Sometimes I think Googling spiritual symbols is a bit like Googling an illness - two minutes in, and we're sure we've been infected with a plague! I've always had this connection with cats ever since I was little. I've always been surrounded by them. I still am surrounded by them. I always see them around my apartment complex. When you were describing all of the traits of a cat person, you were describing me, too. I'm pretty sure the cat is my totem 100%
