Much of the info was pretty spot on for me. I had been terrified of spiders my whole life, to a silly extent. Almost 2 years ago i watched some youtube meditation video that was supposed to reveal your spirit animal. i went into it thinking it wouldnt really tell me my spirit animal, but towards the end it 100% definitely showed me it was a spider, no question, lol. i wish i could remember which video i watched. i saw like a gigantic spider from outer space, maybe you can tell me if that means anything....ever since then i havent been as afraid of spiders and kinda like them now :). that moment has stuck with me and im glad i came across your channel. appreciate ya

I identify with spider but i didn’t know how much until i watched your videos, i was bitten by a brown recluse about 8 years ago and it was one of the most painful experiences I’ve ever had, I still bare a scar from it that will never go away. I’ve been seeing spiders then they disappear in front of my eyes. Idk if I’m going crazy or if it’s my guides showing up in a spider spirit form

As far as activating communication, my advice is really very simple: Tell the Universe that you are ready to begin learning from Spider, and watch what happens! You may dream about Spider, or it will appear in significant locations, or you'll read about it or hear songs about it. Knowing what you now know about is lessons and wisdom, you can use that information to help you resolve any difficulties in your life at this time, and you can use Spider's appearances in your life to help you make decisions. Last night I had a dream about a spider and in the dream the spider told me it was a wolf spider . I have spider dreams a lot I e noticed since embarking on my awakening journey. Found it fascinating that the spider told me what it was in my dream.
This really hit home. I’m a male, however, one afternoon about two years ago I saw a huge spider descending from what it appear to be a line of web, this occurred while I was waking up from a nap in my room. I wasn’t fully conscious yet. Recently, my girlfriend said she walked into a cob web when entering my room. I have never been satisfied working for other people, and always felt I was being taken advantage of, ripped off, and limited. I’ve struggled to find satisfying romantic relationships with women because most want a fairytale that I cannot fulfill. My needs are much simpler. To add, my mother was a terrible human being...
Hello there, I believe myself to be a Spider-person. I am male though and I do have many traits as you said but when it comes to feeling dominated if find it, that we actually are dominated, we tend to be passive and easily pushed around, though I find male spider to be a strong manipulator as well, pulling on their strings they weave around their "prey". Though we do strike with a strong psych attack on people because we are heavily empathic. Weaving our webs, we are resourceful and able to use our intuition to guide us to hidden and secret knowledge. Though that was just my view but if it wouldn't be to much I would love to chat with you.

So here is the thing. I suffer from anxiety attacks. I have very very story telling type dreams.. I am scared of spiders but when I am really worried and have a bad time where I won't balance myself, I think bad thoughts I get the spider at night.. it's a dream but not. He sits on my wall scares me he is huge and looks at me.. then I get the mist like figure floating over to me, it's more of like a mist sparkles it twinkles and it comes to me half sleep. I jump up screaming.... could this dream be something?

In my experience, *most* dreams mean something, and repetitive dreams like the kind you describe are trying to get you to notice something in your waking life that you are doing/believing that is not healthy for you. It's funny how you explained the the inner eye thing. I am a spider but have perfect physical vision. However my intuition has always been true and yes I am clairsentient and empathic but just now reaching my peak at 30 yrs old. 👍 we are indeed guided by our intuition and heart.

I find it amusing that the animals that stereotypically represent feminine power are feisty critters.

Lol! If that's not a Cat quote, I don't know what is! Now you've got me thinking about those creatures which often represent masculine power (for example, Lion has actually been used as a symbol for both male AND female power, depending on who is doing the interpretation, and so has Snake. And Lion really is just a very big kitty! Lol!). I don't know if I would say the critters related to feminine power are necessary more feisty than those related to male power, though perhaps their exertions of power, when they occur, are perhaps more unpredictable! Lord knows we can't predict what a cat will do and why! lol!

Have you ever considered a video addressing when animals highlight something other than themselves? A recent example to clarify: I work at a kennel, and a few days ago I saw a lot of bluebirds and deer when I stopped to look up from what I was doing, most times when I was dealing with a fussy dog that forced me to stop and look. It was a cardinal flying over my head drawing my attention to a wasp nest that made me think: hey, look up, stupid! Still debating the exact meaning of "look up," but that's the part that seems important.
After some thought, I think the topic I'm suggesting is the significance of direction, primarily as it relates to animals, but I'd also enjoy seeing how it relates to other forms or energies.
For my own meditation, I cycle between three interpretations for "look up":
1. Be as deer. Look up, and use your senses to detect threats.
2. Take a step back from the situation. Consider all the pieces.
3. A variation of "hey, keep your chin up!"
Apparently, this is how you know that you write/speak a lot ... someone quotes you to you, and you can't recall ever saying that! LOL!!!!
Regarding canines, at least in the realm of dream interpretation, they ARE symbols for masculinity! :) This is not always true, of course, but when a client tells me they are dreaming about dogs, the first thing I will tend to ask them is how they are feeling about their own masculine energies, or about the men in their life. In the case of cats, we start with feminine-related questions.
To answer your question (I think), it feels like you may have complicated things a bit. In my experience, the Universe uses whatever it knows will get our attention. If we are naturally more attuned to animals, as I would expect you to be given your choice of profession, it would make sense that many of your "signals" would come in the form of animals, with perhaps the specific messages linked to the animal itself being less significant than the fact that they "got you to look", so to speak. With other less animal-oriented folks, if a bluebird is REALLY standing out to them, then I would be more inclined to look at the message unique to Bluebird. Does that make sense?
All that being said, if what feels most significant to you is the idea of being told to "Look up!", then this is absolutely where your attention is supposed to be, and you can only benefit from working with it.

Complicating things is not only a talent. It is also a skill I have honed through passionate practice over the years.
I wouldn't be surprised. Still bumbling around in the dark, trying to understand what works for me and what it means, rather than making it say anything. Makes me think of how people interpret reversed tarot cards and runes differently, like it either meaning the opposite of its stated meaning, or reflecting an internal aspect rather than an external one.
Understanding is a slow journey.
What you're saying about signals reminds me of a non-animal thing that felt like it was directed at me. Years ago, I felt a dark-night-of-the-soul angst, and while heading off to brood, I stopped to watch part of a random movie on the T.V. I stayed for the entire thing, an unusual action for me. I won't call it a perfect movie, but it was perfect for me in that moment. It didn't solve everything, but it lifted my spirits so much that I went out the next day to purchase it. It was like being told to have faith, even if you feel what you have to offer is not cherished by the World. There's a place for it.
Kennel work is more a choice of necessity than desire, unfortunately. The job feels more like a mixture of a boot camp for patience and Purgatory for the times I was a less-than-ideal dog owner. Its expectations and realities stand in stark contrast to my own ideals. To its credit, it has taught me how to do things better in the future.
The thought of deploying my own spider silk sail away from it is an appealing one...
I hear you *completely*, Daniel. Honestly, I think to some extent we are always "bumbling around in the dark"; at its core, that's what using our heart/intuition to lead really means. We surrender to the belief that Something greater than ourselves (even just the energy of All That Is and the movement towards some kind of a "Divine order") can see the paths that we cannot, and so we have to eternally FEEL our way forward rather than relying upon what LOOKS like it will work, or what we *think* we know will work. I know people love to say they've been "enlightened", but in my own life, it would be more accurate to say I've grown comfortable exploring the dark.
Your movie experience...I've had a few of those myself. It is a wonderful thing indeed that you can let yourself be where you need to be, even if it doesn't seem like the "usual" thing you would do.
Kudos to you for such a balanced perspective on your kennel work. If it is time to sail away on a breeze to another, more enjoyable vocation, may the process unfold with perfect ease and joy.
I related so much to this,lol it was eery at times.I'm not sure if the spider really is my totem but so many things i related to it.I find it interesting how I have had a phobia of certain bugs and strongly dislike most but with arachnids i don't have the same fear.Not sure if that could be related or not,thanx for the video though,i subscribed and I'll check your others out especially the other spider ones u mentioned in the description :)

So this is interesting me as a spider male have had bad relationships with women where i have been cheated on quite a bit or been similarily been with women with one foot in the door and the other out. Though as well been a person who has been toxic to men in their relationships. With me borderline stealing partners many many times. Black widow totem BTW and my best relationship was with a women with a black widow spider tattoo. Though some of the same themes were there at the beginning of the relationship. 🖤❤️🔥

Amazing and true. I think one more trait is the famous "not giving up " attitude spiders have. No matter how many times they slip backwards, they resolutely climb back up. It's what inspired Robert the Bruce in history. I also admire their acrobatic feats on a single line of silk. Changing directions, hanging and swaying while surveying their surroundings. Flexibility, acuity, might be their traits too.

The work that I do these days has become uniquely my own; it is based in multiple areas of metaphysical study developed over many years, as well as in a knowledge of cultural archetypes. Astrology, numerology, Eastern medicine, chromotherapy, various divinatory systems, religion, and the specific links between the emotions and the body are the fields of study that I call upon most often. Providing resources for each of those fields would probably be a bit overwhelming, so my suggestion if any of them interest you is just to skim through books on the subject until you find one that calls to you and go from there (though I would definitely recommend Steven Forrest's The Inner Sky as a great jumping-off point for astrological study) :) However, when I was first learning to work with animals in this way, I found Ted Andrews' book Animal Speak to be an excellent foundation, and I relied upon it heavily. It's a great place to start developing your own understanding where animal wisdom is concerned! A number of the things that Ted wrote as factual statements about animals are not quite true; they were accepted as common knowledge at the time of his writing, and we did not have the resources we do now to investigate them. So you may wish to double-check certain statements before speaking about them as fact. However, even urban myths (the one that springs to mind is the ability of a swan's wing to break a man's arm, which is not true) have their influence on how we respond to an animal as a totem or guide, so they remain important. Seeing so many spiders lately. Two are in the opposite corners of the doorway to my bedroom and then today one on steering wheel. My favorite was when I was taking a walk, wearing a baseball cap, and one was on my baseball cap and came down a little to say hello it seemed. So many enchanting moments. Great reading. Thank you. This was very helpful to me. I had a dream last night about this small spider with a perfect web that I was afraid of and found myself going to look for the spray to kill it and by the time I came back it was bigger and started communicating with me stating it was there to help me and guide me as well. The interesting thing about about your video I always looked at myself as a Black Widow Spider and I even have that as a Tattoo. I have a black widow and her sac of eggs on my water fountain box next to my patio door. I am so glad I ckd this out! I moved the water fountain far away from the door, and feel much better. She has been there all summer without an event sending her webs out in all directions. I am proud of that but am concerned about the hundreds of babies to come so will do some research. I'm so glad you found the video so helpful, Caren! Indeed, critters like black windows are where we tend to really find ourselves torn between exercising what we would normally perceive as "common sense" vs. letting our Higher Selves lead, no matter how perilous that may seem to be. If it helps, the Universe really isn't waiting around to punish us if we trust "common sense" here; if we remove the potentially dangerous critter and there was something more we were intended to learn from it, it will either reappear again, or we'll receive the message in another way. The Universe knows we can only do our best. Whenever one of these situations arises, I make my best effort to figure out what I am being told, thank the critter profusely for helping me understand something important, and then do whatever gives me a sense of relief. In the case of black widows, I let them stay in the garage if they are keeping to themselves in a corner I don't use (and I only do this if there aren't that many! If there are a bunch, some of them have to go!), but I do attempt to *CAUTIOUSLY* relocate them if they are (as in the most recent example) hanging right above my open car door! So just do whatever gives you peace of mind around your safety, and it will be perfectly all right. Warmly, Jordana

My relationships with women (family, friends, and in the workplace) have been a great source of emotional pain for me. I’m still struggling with what forgiveness looks like, or what it means for me. I literally just finished meditating and asking the powers that be to show me my totem animal when I went to read my tea leaves. As I was holding the cup to read the leaves inside, a spider crawled over my hand and I instantly knew this was my totem. Half an hour ago I went to research what this meant for me and yours was the first thing that came up. Love this, Jordana. Spider has been appearing as a spirit guide. I had a spider skitter across my notebook while I was giving a reading... had to pretend it didn’t happen. It was an enormous wolf spider- by Wisconsin standards. About the size of a quarter. The next day, I was walking out of the hospital parking garage... and this teeny little orb weaver had spun a web that was the size of my ENTIRE STANDING BODY. At that point, I picked up the phone. So much of what you said resonated. I’ve been spending a lot of time at Lake Michigan, trying to let go of control and get in touch with my feelings. I think Spider is teaching me trust- something I have always struggled with. I am a Human Design 6/2 ( Defined G Center/Throat) and a Life Path 22/4.
I'm so glad you found the video so helpful, Bri 💗. That 22/4 Life Path really does give you an extra challenge in the "letting go of control and trusting" department, so WAY TO GO for giving this the extra attention that it needs. My favorite book on the subject (this was a big struggle for me, too) is called Letting Go: The Pathway of Surrender by David R. Hawkins. It is all about surrendering control through feeling our feelings. Some of my clients really vibe with it, and some do not, but it was the text that was most beneficial for me - All of my letting go and relaxing began with Hawkins, and my life has become increasingly peaceful and magical as a result. Thank you Jordana, great review! I'm pretty sure my Totem is the Spider! I've had unusual happenings with two main domestic types of spiders appearing just after I wake up from a power sleep, then disappearing at a blink of an eye! The last encounter was today 16/8/24 which was an enormous, I think male (small body) Daddy Longs fine legs with normal spread of what appeared to be 20cms! I have a Temple In Oz. It was just above my Tibetan Handcrafted Silk/Cloth 21cm diameter, length 1.4 mtrs drop approx, multicolour tube in the upper corner of my room which ties to the ceiling! I went for to a photo, it disappeared maybe back in the tube, I guess! Now it's an honoured Temple Spider! LOL There is no way a Daddy Long Legs Spider could move that quick! A split second! ?? Any clues about appearing and disappearing spiders?
Loved this! I didn't always enjoy spiders but about 12 years ago I had a significant dream about them and I became really interested ever since.

I have dreamt twice, or so, of a spider. Its not exactly like an average dream. I feel like I'm about to wake up but I'm still sleeping, and I feel like I'm seeing, like maybe in a remote view (which is something I don't do, and I don't know how to do), but when this happens is always about the same spider walking aroud... I see it for a little while and that's it... and then I wake up. Happened to me twice or so. Made a little research about spiders and dreams and such; found this video. I'm a male and I don't think I ever had any particular special interest in spiders, but some things you told here apply to me quite well...

Thank you for this video! I have had many spider experiences.I have woke up to shadow spiders or what I thought were astral spiders many times and they were all over the place!. Also, have been bitten numerous times by the real life ones. It goes along with my personality day of birth number which is 26, 2+6=8. What you described was more like me than when my astrologer made me an expensive report!

Ive always had such a huge fear of spiders, so much that i thought looking up their totem was too dangerous bcos of a potential picture that might be on the site, also the thumbnail of the video really made my skin crawl. though i knew you would give me a lot of information :) and wouldnt show any spider pictures during this video! haha thank goodness! But after watching this, it made me really realize I myself am very much a spider totem! :)
I talked this idea through with my mom, but i was also wondering what you think about this; is my idea or thought true?
Spiders are so true to me, as well as my other totem a Red Panda (from what ive read). but my initial thought toward red pandas was that i was proud of them, and even more-proud to know it was my totem! (ive read they are happy when people around them are content, introverted but still involved in the community, value of gentleness, rejuvenation when alone, providing wisdom to a community while remaining apart from it.) Which is very much how i like to live my life, and was happy that it did pertain to me rather than just an animal i admired.
But the spider on the other hand is something i fear, and yet it also pertains to me, it is what i tend to do, but not always what i want to represent myself as.. (Such as the fact i need to remind myself i control my own web, positive thoughts help my web, knowing i didnt do anything wrong but needing to take time &wait to develop my skills before swinging into my creative task). Sometimes i dont like to admit to others or to myself that i have problems with these things..
so, Is it possible that the reason i have a fear of spiders, but embrace red pandas physical animal because deep down the spider totem reads more of my struggles and really works me emotionally, when the red panda is like how i am on more of a daily basis when dealing with everyday situations?
Could you help me figure things out a little more? Perhaps If i accepted and really embraced my spider tenancies as much as the red panda i would learn to love spiders and find them as cute and sweet as a red panda? :)
not sure though! maybe my fear of how they appear has nothing to do with my emotions towards them?

Hi, Noor! Your totem animal actually isn't based on your birthday (unless you are using Native American or Chinese Astrology). That being said, a lot of people born under the sign of Leo (as you are) do have Lion as one of their totems. There is a video on my channel called "Lion as a Totem: Personality Characteristics and Life-Path Challenges" that would help you decide if this was true for you or not. In most cases, however, you can figure out at least one of your totems just by asking yourself what kind of animal you've always been drawn to or had an interest in, OR which one scares you to bits and pieces. I so appreciate your interest, Emotional, but I am no longer seeing clients at this time. However, I would recommend the book Letting Go: The Pathway of Surrender by David R. Hawkins. Our auric field is weakened by our own (usually unconscious) choice to open ourselves to others or invest our energy in others. The work Hawkins describes is what helped me learn how to stop doing that (and heal everything else in my life besides), so that I can make conscious choices about the way I use my energy, and how much I open myself and to whom. Also, I’ve been saying this year over and over that I’m finally accepting that I need to trust my gut more than anything. I dream with a lot of spiders regularly ever since I was a child and I find them everywhere my mother use to tell me they followed me because I would always see them or be frightened by them I even woke up multiple times to find one on my pillow or on my bed and it would frighten me....is this some kind of sign? The male spider part about being hurt by women was too accurate

Hi, I have a question. three weeks ago I lost my youngest sister for cancer, by the way I'm still grieving. Then I saw a white spider dropping down from it's web under he cascade. What is it mean?

I hope you are able to give yourself the time and space that you need to grieve; don't let any one tell you that you should be "over it" already or that there is no point. When we suffer a loss like this, we HAVE to grieve for as long as we personally need, or we carry it with us forever. So may your grieving occur with as much ease as possible, and may the support you need readily appear. As for your white spider, I don't do interpretations on things like that outside of a session, because it's hard to pin down the meaning of specific animal-encounters without knowing more about what is going on with the person and without working directly with their energy. That being said, in light of what you are experiencing right now, I feel moved to offer you the simplest possible interpretation. This may not be correct for you personally, but it's the most logical assumption given what I know (If you want me to use my intuitive abilities for this one, you'll need to schedule a session). White creatures tend to represent the Divine, and Spiders are often associated with the continuous cycle of birth and death. So the Spider may very well have simply been your sister letting you know that she was okay, and that she is ready to head on to her next lifetime. When I lost my Dad to ALS 15 years ago I watched a spider walk along the ground near the casket. So, anytime I see one I think of him. In the past 5 years I've slowly accumulated spider Halloween decor, (what other time can you decorate with spiders lol) without even realizing it. This year as I was setting stuff out for Halloween my husband said wow you really have a thing for spiders! That's when I realized nearly everything I have is spiders. The last three months or so I've had to brush spiders off door knobs. Not just at home, everywhere and often enough that it made me come look for this video today. I was worried it was some kind of omen or something. I'm not afraid of them at all btw. Most of the time it's Daddy long legs, but sometimes it's those little fast black ones. This describes my life to a “t”. Spider medicine is always with me and I haven’t h3d until now such an accurate breakdown of how it relates to me other than the whole “trickster” story. I’m easily overwhelmed, Pisces rising (so a natural sponge), can be caused sickness quickly if diet is off balance, and make my own way to make money and always somehow have what I need, especially when I don’t feeeel I have it in me to do the healing work I do, and have to push the “should” voices out of my head, everything else is pretty on point too. I've always known that spider means something to me. for example i have never killed a spider. i just cant, always protected them if someone is going to hurt one, never found them scary etc. I eagerly wanted a spider tattoo on my hand when i was 18 but dont remember why, it just felt rigth and got it.
