Sweetheart...I PRAY God leads you to the road you have been searching for!!! If you cannot have children of your own, it breaks my heart...but I also pray and try to repair my heart for the sweet little children?new borns, toddlers, preteen and older children who have wanted nothig more than to feel they BELONG! Many blessings to you...and I hope God answered your prayers!
I'm sorry to hear that. It's almost like we have the same story. It has made me into a person that don't trust, a person that asked Why, a person that is nervous. I don't know why exactly, but every time I try to figure out why...it all leads back to him. I hope you are ok and understand that " people are people, we are all different and we can't and never will be able to turn a person into something they are not. Life is a roll of the Dice, some get lucky while others don't." It's ok...Continue on in life and be as good of a person as you can. Hugs to you !!!
that woman is amazing, i don't think i could forgive some one like that if it were me in this situation. i love how she looks on the bright side. we need way more ppl like this in the world!
I can understand her wanting to hug her, It could have been so much worse, the woman could have abused her for 17 years, or ruined the child, but to FIND the child AND not have them be screwed up is a miracle... The woman will 100% go to jail anyway, you may as well hug her then kick her out the door.
God bless you so happy you found your daughter, He moves mightily to restore her in His time and it's always perfect. I hope you have many new memories as a family.
I don't know how I would react if I found out I was stolen as a baby. Most of these people end up feeling very torn between their kidnapper and their biological family.
Wow..amazing ,courageous, brave parents to be able to forgive is a wonderful thing but to be able to forgive something like this is astonishing I'm so glad they finally found her
Well she is a sweet heart because God is still working on me!I would not have reacted like she did! However I do count my blessings so bless this family.
It's ok Mommy don't cry..you're baby girl came back to you. Amazing though that her sister had quick thinking skills to tell dad about her new friend, take a picture and send it to Mom!! WOW !!! She would be a fantastic detective!! But most of all that Mom was ready to hug the alleged kidnapper and say "thank you" ... can't say for sure if I could do that...KUDOS and HUGS all around.
I understand that the younger sister felt like she resembled her a lot and all..but wow. I'm amazed at how crazy it is how they all knew it was her instantly. wild animals have a similar sense, so I guess it makes sense. (there have been studies of gorillas/other primates, penguins, and I believe a couple other species, were all introduced with offspring that were not their own, which they all seemed to reject/treat them just as they would any random member of their group, but were then later reunited with their own whom they haven't seen since shortly after birthing them, and instantly accepted and cared for them, automatically knowing they were theirs..) parenthood & the natural instincts all living things on earth seem to share is such a remarkable, magical thing.💖
I saw my sister after 7 years we didn’t talk or anything just passed each other on the street, I was 10 when I last saw her but I knew who she was the second my eyes saw her I felt it
I can understand wanting to forgive because you don't want to live with hate, it will eat you up from the inside out, but a hug? I'd be wanting answers, why she did this, how she'd feel if someone did it to her. I think I'd also want to slap the hell out of her.
+Mystie Rehan I what she meant was, thanks for taking my daughter and loving her like your own child. As oppose to some of these kidnappers, who beat, torture and sell kids in rackets for things like sexual pleasure of other freaks.
Its ok anyway karma has already got her shes raised a child for 17 years and now shes been wripped away from her and she will be going or has gone to jail imagine the pain she is in all because she made a stupid decision. Shame on her
As a mom I feel hurt it's been 17 years, but I would look at the fact that she didn't hurt my child, abuse or killed her. I would forgive her & asked judge to give lower sentence due to the fact that she is alive. Seems like the lady didn't have any kids.
PrettyNails ForLife Your wrong, she did hurt her child.. She kidnapped and manipulated her into thinking she belonged somewhere she didn't. The kidnapper deserves utmost severe punishment the courts can give.
Corah Mcwhorter becouse she knows another way that is so much better: forgiveness. How would it help her to be mad and to hate that woman? She made a big mistake...but the fact that she raised the girl well shows that she did not do it out of malice...she was very wrong though...
I could forgive for my own sanity.. No matter how good a job a kidnapper would have done in raising my child.. I would want that person behind bars so she or he couldnt do take someone elses child ever again. I could forgive for myself.. But to take 17years with my child away from me is just undescribably wrong. There is never an excuse for kidnapping no matter how good the kidnapper raised the child its still wrong and they should be punished. Just my opinion.
Yes its related to this story thats why blood and water was produced Just irritating that we need to wait till sept 2022 for season 3 It should of being made into a movie not a series
Yes its related to this story thats why blood and water was produced Just irritating that we need to wait till sept 2022 for season 3 It should of being made into a movie not a series
yes she did, but I think it is for her best, that both mothers (the "birth" one and the one who raised her) go well along, so that she'll still have the benefit of having the mother "who she knows" and her real family on her side. If they would fight again another, the poor doughter would probably not know on which side she should be... I mean, she ows a great education to the one who raised her and does for sure love her like her own Mom, but certainly understand that she did something wrong and that her real Family loves her. But she doesn't know them well yet.
Iqra Ahmed to be honest most coloured people don't really know what exactly they are mixed with because during apartheid people had to live within their racial groups and families didn't really speak about what you are mixed of. But it could be a mixture of black, white, asian or the natives of South Africa( Khoi, San).
So sad for the woman who kidnapped her, i felt her pain more ! Prison wont torture her than the kid that has been taken from her now ... Imagine what she would be like after spending 17yrs raising a kid and one day someone came and took her away
Yes, let's look at the pain of a kidnapper who forced someone else's child to see her as her mother, who forced someone else's child to grow up separated from their real family. Yes, let's not focus on the pain of the real family. Yes, let's not focus on the pain the girl must have been feeling, realizing that the woman who raised her abused her in this horrible fashion and made her live a complete lie. Yes, let's not focus on the pain of the people who matter. Instead, let's focus on the feelings of entitled child-stealers who take other people's children because they can't handle the fact that they are barren like a desert.
why not? I mean: she is a human beeing too! I just can't imagine in what for pain she must have been, that she did the unthinkable: steal a child to finally have one to raise on her own... I'm not saying it is right, far from that. It is completly wrong and forbidden. But that is the reason why I'm thinking she was in a most deap pain at that time, that she even think of it as a way to have a child... That's not all right, for sure. But she loved that child and I would say, it's hard enough for her to know, she had done something wrong that harmed her loved child. My opinion.
Her biological mom is a forgiving sweetheart.. Only good hearts can understand her forgiving and wanting to give the abductor a hug.
That's not her biological mother, that is her mother.
TheYasmineFlower a biological mother l means the real mother 😂😂😂
sidney barrera exactly 😂😂 like WTF... THEY NEED TO ✂ IT
SIESIE CHAMPION She is also a very clever woman. She doesn't want to traumatize her daughter or belittle the life and fond memories that she has had.
A The Vegan Who wouldn't be relieved to find that their lost child was well cared for? As for the bullet - you lost my respect there.
All I have ever wanted was a child of my own. However, I would NEVER steal a baby that didn't belong with me. That is just wrong.
Adopting through foster care is always a beautiful option. You want a child and they want a parent.
It's nice to see a dad that actually cares. Mine lived with me all my life but knew nothing about me. He hasn't a clue even when I was born.
I'm sorry to hear that. It's almost like we have the same story. It has made me into a person that don't trust, a person that asked Why, a person that is nervous. I don't know why exactly, but every time I try to figure out why...it all leads back to him. My Dad's been like that too & can be very abusive. I'm so sorry your Dad has put you through that. If you want any support, please PM me on here.

Those poor parents living with that loss for 17 years so devastating!!!
that woman is amazing, i don't think i could forgive some one like that if it were me in this situation. i love how she looks on the bright side. we need way more ppl like this in the world!

You're a beautiful mother and father and I hope all is going well for you and your family.
God bless you so happy you found your daughter, He moves mightily to restore her in His time and it's always perfect. I hope you have many new memories as a family.
I feel for the parents and mostly for the girl, her whole life was turned upside down with this news. My heart goes to her and I hope she's doing ok
Iam so glad you found your child. God bless you
I feel bad for this girl she was lied to all her life
Many adopted are being lied.
@@ioannat3262 but adoption is totally different!!
"he also managed to take photographs of the girl"
If that hadn't actually been his kid, it would have seemed really creepy lol
All this sympathy for the kidnapper, what she did was beyond cruel. There are babies born daily needing adoption but she chooses to do this.
I don't know how I would react if I found out I was stolen as a baby. Most of these people end up feeling very torn between their kidnapper and their biological family.

sweet women...I'm glad they found their baby!

What a fantastic birthmother!
Wow absolutely love this what them parents must’ve went through

Amazing story!!
Heartbreaking...
The sad part is that Zaphany left the biological family and now lives with the kidnapper family
I understand that the younger sister felt like she resembled her a lot and all..but wow. Oh how I love this

I saw my sister after 7 years we didn’t talk or anything just passed each other on the street, I was 10 when I last saw her but I knew who she was the second my eyes saw her I felt it
At 17 years old, shouldn't she be able to decide her own future?
Amen God is good, working with the Odds 🙏🙏🙏
Thank you and wish you all the best
I would love to have seen the daughter. Why did they say that they had to wait to see what should be done? They are the parents!
I can understand wanting to forgive because you don't want to live with hate, it will eat you up from the inside out, but a hug? I'd be wanting answers, why she did this, how she'd feel if someone did it to her. I think I'd also want to slap the hell out of her.

Mystie Rehan I'm with that 110% lol
This remarkable story has been made into a series called Blood and Water on Netflix!
Beautiful family
God bless you, because you are able to forgive. Most religious people can´t.
This would make a good Life Time Movie.
As a mom I feel hurt it's been 17 years, but I would look at the fact that she didn't hurt my child, abuse or killed her. I would forgive her & asked judge to give lower sentence due to the fact that she is alive. Seems like the lady didn't have any kids.

A better thing for the woman to do than to raise her right would be not kidnap her at all
UNBELIEVABLE BUT TRUE
Very complicated situation for both
God Bless you..I am Celeste too..rare name
Where's the rest of it??? I wanna see
God is awesome and he's an on time God OMG thank you sweet Jesus for bringing those girls back home today real parents...
Wow that’s crazy to find out like that

angielou123 your not her
Then you still got to learn a lot :) Forgivness is the key ;)
Corona84 true
Sadly this very child is now their down fall. They are loosing her all over again. It is clear the kind if women who raised her.
maybe their daughter's hair has healing power
Bruh if if ur gonna kidnap a child at least kidnap an orphan to give them a good life
why wouldn't she be mad
Corah Mcwhorter becouse she knows another way that is so much better: forgiveness. How would it help her to be mad and to hate that woman? She made a big mistake...but the fact that she raised the girl well shows that she did not do it out of malice...she was very wrong though...
Is there a update on this story? Pictures?
I feel for this couple

Are they black
Sseize Forum They are coloured, it's what people of mixed descent are categorized as in South Africa.
dominique sonnenberg what are they mixed with?
Iqra Ahmed to be honest most coloured people don't really know what exactly they are mixed with because during apartheid people had to live within their racial groups and families didn't really speak about what you are mixed of.
