Beautiful!
It truly is a magical trip!
Honestly, your videos are the best ones for covering an Antarctic voyage. Solo, couples, people of all ages, there is useful info for everyone.
Oh, thank you so much. That was my goal...to share information I wish I could have found before leaving!
Amazing great video. Glad you enjoyed it :)
Thank you!
There’s no words. Life changing experience. I think I need to convince my other half we need to go
Absolutely, it was worth every penny to me!
Awestruck - wow!
Thank you!
We enjoyed your videos. What time of year did you go? We’re wondering when we should go and definitely want to go on the Resolution!
The trip was from Dec 12-22. I understood there might not be many whales in Dec, but we saw hundreds. Usually, the emperor penguins go inland farther when the ice melts, so we were lucky the ice hadn't quite melted and there was a colony nearby. Honestly, I think anytime from Dec-Feb will be wonderful. Of course, you can't predict the weather, but our captain and leader were both clever at finding the best places to avoid harsh conditions. It was such an exceptional trip for me. I hope it will be for you too. I wish you safe travels and a wonderful journey. The other ‘twin’ ship is the Endurance. Both ships are similar sized, polar class 5, with two azipods that allow great power and manoeuvrability, both with about 14 cabins for solo travellers, and carry a total of about 130 passengers.
