I watched this video and it looked so much like the cruise I was on. That is, until I saw some of the travelers close up. Indeed, I was on this ship at the exact time as you! Dec 12-23. What a fantastic adventure! You have captured this ship well. Food and Service excellent without exception. Destination--Over the Top!
Very interesting! My wife and I are a few years from retiring, but this is definitely on our bucket list, especially during our go-go years. Keep on wandering! 🙏❤

Yes, it is one of National Geographic's newer ships, if not the newest. I don't like to quote prices in my videos because things change so much and there can be lots of add-ons, such as insurance, flights, wifi, etc. I will say that it was expensive, although cheaper than many of the quotes I got from other ships where they charged me for the single supplement. There might have been less expensive ways to see Antarctica on one of the larger cruise ships, but since this was a once-in-a-lifetime, bucket list trip, I wanted to do it on a small ship, expedition style, in order to really experience Antarctica. For a solo traveler, I felt like it was the right choice. I will say that I met another solo traveler that got a last minute deal that was cheaper than what I paid, which stung a bit! The expedition is run through Lindblad Expeditions, who collaborates with National Geographic.
White continent nat geo resolution was about $25k per person when i did a quick search on the website. This was the cost for each person where it was 2 people in the room.
There is not a single supplement for solo cabins, but they aren't half the price of a double cabin. It is definitely an expensive trip, but the solo cabins made it a little more doable. Hope you can find a way to make it work. It was definitely worth it to me. Happy Travels...

Beautiful ship! Looks brand new. Would like to know how much these trips cost.

Ballpark figures seem to be between $2000 to $4000 per day depending on the cabin type you choose
is there a single suppliment ? i am also solo and interested in going to antartica
