As a very proud Scottish highlander it makes me proud that so many love our pipes and music. There terrifying to hear during war but stunningly haunting when heard at dawn as the mist rolls away over loch Ness. I love being from the Highlands although the weather's not that great but the world seems to love the Scottish people and respect the history of our tiny nation.

They drastically differ, in mood and style, although, the first one is about a lonely man on the Hebridean islands with simply fantastic music and the second one is a parody for role-playing fantasy games and takes place on the Orkney. These two games made me fall in love with the Hebrides and Orkney. I recommend them to any lover of Scotland

The Bagpipes are in my clans history, the MacLeods. My father was a Piper, his uncle was a Piper, and so on, and now I am a Piper. I was told one day that once my dad had passed away there would be no more Pipers left in the MacLeod Clan, so I chose to keep the tradition alive and learn the instrument myself, and I have to say, I have travelled to wonderful places, seen wonderful things and met many wonderful people that of whom I will know and be friends with for the rest of my life all because of this instrument, and for that I will always be eternally grateful.

I did that with Status Quo at 5am to answer the neighbouring students' loud Garage at after 1am [having asked them to please be reasonable and having been told to eff off]. All the neighbours gathered outside their door with a borrowed ghetto blaster. We didn't have any more trouble.

My daddy used to play the bagpipes & I loved watching & listening to my daddy playing them he was very good! But I could never be understood why my daddy was wearing a SKIRT!! But I was only five years old at the time it took my adoption, families 10 years after to tried & tell me that skirt was skirt they were called a KILT!! Come on I was a little Vietnamese / African American little girl.
