I love this little plant…mine has red stems and bands..really pretty. I have gotten pots that are open in the bottom that pick up water from below pot. I.have a macrame hanger between the windows for great indirect sunlight am and pm. I’m getting new growth so I know she’s happy 😃 🙏🏽🙋🏻♀️Mia

The thing you show us to cut at 8:59 is the the flower! I mean if you you don't like the look of it, that's fine. But you don't seem to recognize that it is in fact the Peperomia flowers that looks like that.
Hi Jette, i know that its the flower. If you like it, you can keep it... No problem.. but I am talking about how you can maintain the bushier look of the plant and that is to prune in order to initiate side growth..
Hi. I purchased a Piccolo Banda earlier this month. About 3 of the leaves started to get black spots on them. Any idea what could be the possible cause(s)?
Hi Lilian. It could be possibly bacterial or fungal infection. Try changing the soil and pot. Add hydrogen peroxide 1 teaspoon in 250ml of water and water the plant. See if it recovers. Dont overwater.. Refer to this for a detailed blog version of this video. homemakr.org/2021/02/13/peperomia-piccolo-banda-care-and-propagation/
@@Homemakr , thanks for your feedback. I repotted the plant. Lost 2 wilted stems which came off easily when I gave them a gentle tug. The rest of the plant looks like it's slowly perking up. Fingers crossed! Will be mindful of the watering from now on.

Homemakr I understand, what you were trying to say. But because you didn't call it the flower, I just didn't know whether you knew what it was 👍🏻😊
Thanks for pointing that out! I was going to cut them off b/c the stems they are on are spindly.

Yes Codi, This plant blooms in spring and summer. They give out long stalks which bear flowers on them. 🙂
