A refreshing revision of the former “off road recon” site. Some real balls jeeping here ( sometimes jeepin’ is a lot like workin’). You always have to keep in mind the differences between your experience and those of your family.. (Dad’s crazy !) but I I’m here to tell you that kids are tape recorders, and later on you’ll be getting tearful hugs thanking you for those experiences. Me; ‘83 CJ7, Howell TBI,Mosher Flanged axles, AMC20, Dana 30, 4:10 gears, rear Detroit locker, front Detroit Tru Trac limited slip, 33” Goodyear tires, onboard York air compressor, full “family” cage. Specializing in the mountains and deserts of Southern California.
I was amazed at what our stock Sport on highway tires was able to do out there. The hardest part of hells revenge for us was the exit we took that put us on the road outside the park entrance.
Going to agree that the worst part was not being able to see over the top of hills and not knowing what is to each side of you. We had great spotters as well! Wait for Steel Bender!
I am think that if you think Hells Revenge scary, and extreme, you guys are in for a big surprise on the other badge trails in Moab. Even though I have wheeled all the badge trails in Moab, I still enjoy watching your content.
So you never actually made it to the Waterfall Obstacle? I just got back from Moab and had I known about the difficulty of this obstacle, I would of stayed at camp🙂 However, my two jeep buddies talked me through it and strapped my jeep from behind so I didn't tip. Craziest obstacle i've ever done... Did not make that Hell's Gate climb myself, but my buddies did.
Have you experienced, or heard of the random scraping sound coming from the front of jeep jl rubicon while in 4 low? Sounds similar to a brake dust shield scraping on brake rotor. Love my Rubi, and would like to get a solid answered for this issue. So I can fix it. Appreciate any info, or knowledge you may have on this. yeah.. clearance and travel makes a big difference glad you got out and did it on a stock setup regardless! :)

You can also put a front camera on, so when your on the steep inclines you can turn it on and it'll help you see a bit
