James that's going to be fantastic when it's done. Our friend Troy literally just finished doing the same darn thing, love it!

What a big job. I always worry about putting everything back in the right sequence. The Cowen will be better than new when you get done. Good big job James.

Thank you! It was a big job but in the end it went back together as per the manual not how it came apart as well as there are a few new features

Looks like a cool project. I bet the powder coating came out really nice.

James, it looks like you have that uncapper figured out. I’m glad that you told us what time of coatings that you need to use. Well before you said that I was thinking “Powder Coating”. I think it would clean up easier and better. It may cost a little more but I think it would be worth it. I’m not trying to spend your money. lol. I had to come back and edit this comment. I should have waited to the end to comment because I saw that you had it Powder Coated. Good luck! Great video!

Yup I actually painted it first however i did not like how the paint was turning out, so ended up powder coating in the end and very glad i did. This is getting a few new features as well :)

Noooooo! Not vegetable oil! It'll gum up. I learned that the hard way on the bearings for my sausage grinder. Use food grade mineral oil and you will be much happier. I think there is food grade grease as well but I've not used it. Good Luck!
