Another great video Brice. Thanks for keeping the education going. And for those that haven't worked with UT Kilts in the past, Brice really means it when he says he will work with you on sizing. I wouldn't have had the correct size on my utility or "regular" kilts without his help!
GREAT tips here!! I can tell you, I recently ordered a pair of jodhpur riding pants and put in my regular standard pants size in the order that I normally look for when pants shopping in a store or buying on line..... Nope... No where NEAR the correct measurements... Luckily the merchant was understanding and took them back, made a new pair to my correct size and only charged me materials & shipping. Whenever you order anything custom made, invest in a tailor's tape and get ACCURATE measurements that are required to get the garment to fit right and look good on you.
So true! Pants are tough because most places won't have you measure. But every pant manufacturer does their own thing on sizing... Why I love kilts I guess.
For myself the waistband on pants isn't the issue it's that I have big thighs and many pants just don't have enough space in them. This makes kilts a lot more comfortable for me.
I think they add some inches to the pants to make them fit more comfortable, because if you made tham exactly to the measured size the pants would fit very tight. Especially when you sitting. But I was surprised how many inches they actually added....
It is pretty surprising. I had one guy, several years ago, get very very upset when his size 31 custom kilt would not fit his 31 "waist". Come to find out he was a 31 in his pants and his tailor never told him about the sizing with jeans.
This morning my pants told me that I've gained too much weight recently. That was most definitely not a lie. 😂
LOL! Well, lets just ignore what they say then. ..

Why does my "100%" woolen wool great kilt ordert by your online shop burn like a sticky acryllic danger?
