Hello, I’ll be here in Stockton for the HW regionals on 13th Oct. I have done some practices in Stockton and only managed to get sub39 and 40sec (which is almost 2sec down to your best lap in locals 37.98). I have tried different style of driving. Can I ask that do you lift or running full gas at turn 3(the big left U-turn) and turn 5(the right turn before the hair pin) down stairs? Thank you.
39s are pretty good for practice, we only managed 37s because it was really grippy it's usually 38s. As for Turn 3 I usually take that flat as a HW, and turn 5 i usually try my best to take it flat but it depends on grip, you might need to lift slightly, Try to follow the lines in the video not going too wide for the hairpin before the up ramp and not too wide for the teardrop downstairs where the marshal box is. My best advice is to book a members event so you learn the lines following the quick drivers, it helps a lot, good luck at regionals tho mate👊.
