*Taken from a website* While a duck or goose is still young, angel wing usually can be corrected by using vet wrap to secure the last two joints of the wing for 4 or 5 days. The wrap will hold the feathers in the proper position and help the wing grow in the right direction until the wrist joint becomes strong enough to support feather growth. To prevent binding as the wing grows, and to allow the bird to exercise its wing muscles, remove the vet wrap each evening and reapply it in the morning. The wing joint will be fully developed and able to support the wing properly by the time the bird reaches 16 weeks of age, after which a duck or goose is no longer in danger of developing an angel wing.
The geese are absolutely beautiful! I'm glad to see they have a good home now, and now have the chance to have some more beautiful goslings to add to the family in their future. 😊
Auction videos are awesome! I miss going to the auctions around here, not many left. Really hope everyone appreciates the work that you put into these videos, especially recording the prices and editing them all in! Keep up the AWESOME work!
I am in Missouri and think I know which auction you go to. Too far for this old man to drive and also covid stops me, but sure would love to go. Getting prices sure be a large job - thanks.
So when picking ripe cantaloupe. You press at the end the cantaloupe was attached to the vine, if it presses in easily it's ripe. Little trick my mother showed me. To pick a ripe watermelon, you have to knock on it, if it sounds hollow it's ripe! Hope this helped you!
Loved loved the second half of November aucton. My favorites are the auctions an pigeons. Would love to see you fly the rollers, although they don't film well. Thanks for the entertainment!
Oh my goodness I absolutely love watching your videos every time I watch your videos I get so excited because I've been telling my sister when I get up north to Wisconsin I want to go to the Amish auctions and get some really big large meat rabbits and some geese and some ducks LOL and of course I'm pretty cool fancy kind of chickens I'm all about that but mainly the geese and the Ducks and the rabbits but I told her I'd love to also have to goats to breed to make butter, cheeses, etc etc I am just so excited and she I think she lives about 49 minutes away from the Amish so I am stoked. Again thank you for your videos I'm just going to have to control myself when I go to the auction for animals hahaha I was telling her I'll take no more than a hundred but I'll probably sneak in an extra 100 or two and have her hold them LOL
Your best bet for the angel wing would be to wrap them, basically get some wide medical bandage, line the wings up and wrap them for about a week, then check to see if it's working and if it's worth wrapping again, see how it goes, there are some TH-cam videos on wrapping for angel wing.
Love the vids bro I used to have racing pigeons and am in between houses so gonna get some again when I find a house but I suggest putting a big bowl of water at least once a week in the pigeon lofts because pigeons love to clean themselves
👍👍👍awesome interesting! Muscovies👍 colors tend to darkening. My M. hens are still laying 😲. So in the incubator they go for 35 days. Tricky incubating though. When you get there I will tell you the tricks I found hatching them. Cheers
At our local auctions you get the animals and the crate or cage they came in. We also have to buy every animal that is in the cage. No picking through allowed.
The bantams you could remember the name of looked like Golden Sea Brights. Angel wing is caused by a nutrient deficiency and a high sugar/carb diet. Only correctable if they are still growing.
As far as I know they should keep those colors through out the rest of their lives. If i remember right the Angel Wings will never go away and yes it`s from a too high protean diet when they were young. Love all of the films you bring out. The Auction ones are cool as you get to see a large verity of different animals. Keep up the great work Jordan.
Hi, just found your channel. We're located in Eastern Ontario Canada. I'd really like to see more of your setup with the birds please. Take care - Marcie
You are so lucky with those auctions!! Nothing like that here in Montana!! Although I would go broke buying stuff. Really enjoy these videos. Like it when you price them
Good evening Jordan, a good look around this time at the animal auction. Lots of stuff about, neverseen any brown muscovys. They looked very nice! Two more geese with angel wing! You've got quite a stockyard there, Jordan! A lot of effort to make a simple video, all that pricing etc very time consuming! Shame the kids didn't get a couple of rabbits - they must be getting a bit fed up waiting for the special pets, that have never arrived?? We loved the trailer on the truck - would have liked to have seen a better piccie! Oh well can't have everything! Take care and stay safe Malc and Ann (England) UKxx
Thank you! I think I’ll be able to pick up the new animals next week! If nothing changes anyway…. No bunnys this time, I’d be afraid what I’d buy if the kids went with me though!
For the muscovy those are barred and it will molt out but you may still see it on the chest and under the wings. If you want ones similar but they keep the markings you'd look for looney and ripple. I don't recommend keeping black drakes most of the ducklings you'd get would be black with the colors you have. Also unless they are under a covered run you absolutely have to clip their wings they will fly away and can cause significant damage to the environment. I own quite a few and if they aren't under a net they are clipped. Also watch out for feather pullers muscovy ducklings are the worst and will pull out new feathers and eat each other alive.
Love seeing these videos and the prices are nice to see it's interesting what the animals go for in a different state ...........with all the new waterfowl you have you should dig them a pond to play in lol
Looks like prices have come down since spring. I know a guy who buys chickens for cheap in the fall, over winters them and then sells them for 3x the price in the spring.
I wished we lived closer I would give them to you and there are 5 Muscovy that come thru my yard ever day sometimes they stay under my Dock or Boat on a trailer . I always like your contents there very interesting .
Thank you for sharing; highly appreciated. it’s interesting, let’s miss the past; in our area, there’s no more auction for a long time; many people like black chickens, they said meat is more tasty. The prices of those green head ducks are seemed a little higher; they’re beautiful, but I don’t breed green head any more, it’s seemed a little strange smell. I don’t dare to breed guinea and peacock, they’re noisy. Several years ago, a peacocks range got damaged, peacocks run away and reproduced a lot, became pest, affected aviation security; local government encouraged people to catch & eat peacocks meat; people said it’s strange thing.
If they are young enough you can tape the wings and they might go back. Great video as always man. I’m gonna miss our fall sale because my daughters b day is the day after
What is the difference between a roller and a tumbler?? Using appropriate discretion, I would love to see a good video of a live auction, including the auctioneer. - Thanks!!
Jordan keep those videos coming but those geese with those wings its a geene thing that runs in ducks and geese unfortunely you bought them for me i would have passed on them you have 2 options and thats to try and sell them or you fatten them up and make a family meal out of them i would never breed those THEY WERE AT THAT AUCTION FOR A REASON and that reason was for someone else to deal with them
Hey Jordan! Just wondering what kind of hearing protection you use? When you did that Father’s Day hunt with your boy I seen you let him use urs, just wondering what brand those are? Thank you!! Keep up the good work!!

Very interesting! Thanks for the info!
I love how you showed the prices because I have never been to an animal auction and I thought the animals would be a lot. Definitely subbed!
I am so grateful for your videos, it allows me to get my animal auction fix without coming home with tons of animals myself!
I’m glad you like them!!! It’s a struggle to not come home with another farm worth of stuff!!
The geese are absolutely beautiful! I'm glad to see they have a good home now, and now have the chance to have some more beautiful goslings to add to the family in their future. 😊
Hi, can you help me where is the auction place or day or timing please
Thanks for the work put into prices for us to see. Take care and be well Jordan

Dude you did lot of work in getting prices. That's cool to let everyone know the price range.
Keep on keeping on
I did what I could!
The prices are what they actually sold for? (As opposed to an estimate, etc.)
A lot of work went into this video -- thank you!
04:32 literally right we you said “we got guineas,” that one in the background started chattering!
If I was there I will take all the americunas and Easter Egger since are my favorite type of birds💙💚💯
They are cool ones indeed!
So enjoyed your video. Thanks for taking the time to make it. I'm bed bound and can't enjoy my fowl anymore, but your video sure was a joy to watch.

Such a cool farm.... I watch this video 22 times... I love your pets so so cool... My favorite was the little chicken with a white tuft on his head.
I’m glad you liked it!!!

I loved those white doves, how many were there in that cage, they will bring peace and much love to your farm and home,by their presence upon it.
They were beautiful!
Love the auction videos! Cool new additions. FYI, future videos will be all subtitles because when those geese all mature it will be deafening.🤣
Definitely enjoy the sales video. I used to go to one weekly it sadly they aren’t any around here anymore. Thanks for all the work you put in.
I love your auction videos. Thanks.
Pigeon vids and animal auction are the best
Always enjoy the animal sale. Thanks Jordan for the time you put in to get the prices as well!!
Man, editing in all those prices had to take a long time. Thanks!

On the stem end of a cantaloupe push gently if it gives some its ripe if it squishes over ripe if it stays no movement green
Love these videos! Those pups where gorgeous, I would have taken them!
Ok watched the whole video and I’ll just say you entertained me from start to finish and I usually only watch pigeon videos 😂 so we’ll done you 👍🏼

You got a great price on the Muscovy they normally go for 15$ for a hen at 6 months and 40 for certain color drakes
Never went to a animal auction before. Very interesting and love that you showed us the prices.

Thanks for the feedback!
Just came across your video, I am from Iowa and loved it
with a cantaloupe the stem end should be orange and it should have a strong sweet ripe aroma
I’ve been watching your videos lately , pretty interesting stuff . Love them 🦾
Love auction videos
Where do you go to the auctions? They have so many I want!
Thanks for the Work put into the process
This place is heaven ♡
For sure!
Think angel wing is a result of inter breeding
Thanks for the prices! The auction is so cool!
Enjoy the auction videos.
Thanks for the prices.
I like the German Owls but wonder how they would fit in .

Cantaloupe you smell the end that was picked. If it smells like nice ripe cantaloupe then it is good.
If you see this plz in your next auction vid can you tell us where it is? Where I live i don't have stuff like this all of our sales are hoof stock.
Can u find a way to send Brahma chicken at least a couple to pohnpei. It would change the way we look at chickens
Looks like prices have come down since spring.
I know a guy who buys chickens for cheap in the fall, over winters them and then sells them for 3x the price in the spring.
Prices have definitely dropped since spring! You can definitely make some money y wintering stuff!
The price breakdown is great.
👍👍👍
Nice video, thanks Jordan.
Thank you!
Can Angle wing be corrected? Dude at Gold Shaw farm tried but I don't know if it was successful. Plus the birds were a lot younger when he started.
I haven’t seen it corrected yet but I haven’t looked into it very hard though
More auction videos please hahah they are the best or can you do a DIY chicken coop build
The auction only happens once a month but I’ll go as often as I can!
Great content as usual! Thanks for the hard work.
I always like these vids Jordan. cheers from Canada

Love the animal auction videos
Angel wing does not fix itself.....Larry @Scoot's organic
Those Muscovy ducklings are cheap for 3.50 each
What area of Kansas were you in for the auction? That looked like fun!
- Thanks!!
That’s a great question! I honestly don’t know how to answer though.
Live you say……
A tumbler rolls frontword a roller rolls down
It violates their religious beliefs not many mind you doing such but i respect all others religious beliefs
@@JordansHarvest Sorry, I did not mean a live stream video but simply an ongoing auction in progress, thanks!
Wow I would be in heaven going there !!!
Can’t wait to see what you buy!!!
I hope you like it!
I sure do!!!!
Adult muscovies can occasionally keep barring if genetics are good but if it’s splotchy it’s less likely
