    Can confirm. Tim called me 3 or 4 times, just to make sure I was completely happy with them. After a busy fire season, these boots are light years ahead of the competition. Well done, guys!

    Tried a pair on yesterday in the Redding store. Whatever you guys do differently from White's with the arch support is phenomenal. So much more comfortable. I'm trying to convince my wife to let me buy a pair right now, because that arch is perfect for my feet. Those boots are nuts. They feel slightly lighter than my Smokejumpers too.

    Ordered my Fire Inlander boots 2 weeks ago, drove all the way from San Francisco, CA to Redding, CA and I am eagerly waiting everyday for my boots. Every time I see your video it gives me goosebumps, as I am a boot lover. As soon as I get my boots, I will make a video and post it on youtube. The quality of your boots is phenomenal and as soon as I receive my first pair, I am ordering another and another and another one. Cant wait..

    Best boots for wildland, just bought my 3rd pair today. Started at 12" now going to 16". AlWAYS the best customer service and always feels like y'all never forget about me even when a long time has passed. And thank you for hooking my crew up last year with oil and brushes that were much needed!!!!

    • @jkbootsusa

      We cant say a bad thing about anyone, we think they all do a great job. However, we're simply just on a different level when it comes to comfort, longevity and service. Our boots last much longer and have very little to no break in. Also we believe that we have the best customer service out there. Being a family business we care a lot and take it personal!

    This looks like a great, high-quality wildland boot. It seems like the leather construction would work well as snake protection? I'm looking for a pair of reliable boots for bushwhacking in the Sonoran Desert.

    • @jkbootsusa
      @jkbootsusa  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Absolutely. The 8/9oz leather offers heavy-duty protection. A lot of customers purchase our boots for that reason.

      @@jkbootsusa I'm currently wearing some whites hybrids with a much lower drop than traditional boots but its still messing with my whole drive train, so to speak. When its time for a resole I'm going to take them to a cobbler and ask them to remove the half inch heel spacer between the sole and inner of the boot if possible. Otherwise I love the boots and have zero gripes, its just that I've been running ultramarathons in sandals for years up 10,000ft peaks and my calves, ankles etc don't need the aid of changing my natural heel to toe angle for relief working long days outside.

    What is the biggest difference between the inlander and the north? I got me some inlanders but I’m not quite sure why the north’s cost twice as much aside from the built in maintenance plan.

    • @jkbootsusa
      @jkbootsusa  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Hey Josue, sorry to miss your message. The North package covers the cost of any custom options, a free rebuild at any time, expedited services, and free minor repairs. In addition, the "north" package comes with oil, extra laces, and a suede brush.

    • @jkbootsusa

      There is not a fit sheet evaluation charge, we price out custom work based on your needs, so it just depends. It will be reasonable and not outrageous.
