Looks great, all I’d add is probably even more leaf litter and (like I think you mentioned) some taller branches and/or cork tubes, but I’m loving this set up and glad I stumbled across your channel
Really nice and informative quick video! I want to get a gargoyle gecko soon and this video will be nice to come back to to revise the basics after learning all the important details of each step.
Well done, Chief :D It looks the absolute business, and I'm sure, that Violetta will settle in nicely and have a great time there :D Also, how cute did she look on your hand, when you carried her to her new home?
What type of temperature gage were you using for her old tank saw a glimpses of that an caught my eye , looking for one slowly getting items for my tank :)
I was wondering can you literally use any leaf litter or dose it have to be tropical leafs I'm setting up a bioactive viverum for my crested gecko in 2 weeks just getting everything I need
@@ChiefSweetsUniverse what kind of lighting do u recommend one that won’t hurt the cresties? The only thing I’m scared of to switching to bio active is that the light might hurt his eyes
Yeah it’s perfectly fine. The only reason would be for the springtails and isopods to get established but I’ve always added the animal in the same day I finish and never had a problem.
Her running around was really funny. My crested gecko is pretty much the complete opposite. He doesn't resist being picked up even a little.
Haha yeah she’s still flighty to this day.
awesome stuff
Thank you!

I think it was a govee digital thermometer
Can you leave the substrate, bedding, and moss in a tank until I get a gecko or no just wondering?
100% you can have it fully setup until you get one even for months
where do you get the plants and the insects?
I got the plants from Walmart and the insects from Josh’s frogs
@@ChiefSweetsUniverse thank you!
Liked this video because of your cresties parkour sesh, and the fact that you love her despite her craziness.
Haha she’s very nice now but she still loves parkour
I was wondering can you literally use any leaf litter or dose it have to be tropical leafs I'm setting up a bioactive viverum for my crested gecko in 2 weeks just getting everything I need
You can use any leaf litter. Just make sure it doesn’t have any spiders or ants on it lol
Dang, I didn't know they could scurry so fast like that.
They are pretty quick on their feet. 😂
Is light necessary?
Yes it is for the plants.

@@christinakaladjian442 as long as it’s a led daylight light the you should be fine.
