Linda, after church services, I came to my quiet corner of my world, in our home which is all mine to escape to. Thanks! for a added pleasure to my Sunday. You are such an inspiration to me. Your enthusiasm and clam nature is what is needed when times are overwhelming. Happy Sunday sweet Linda, and this is tea Sunday, so enjoy your favorite cup of tea. 💕💐
This video had so much loveliness I hardly knew where to look. Ill need to watch it multiple times. My husband had a recent health scare so we are getting help with our landscaping too.
There's nothing wrong at all with getting help when you need it. Your beautiful garden requires a lot of maintenance and at some point we just can't do it ALL by ourselves. I love that those rose bushes will no longer be in those "tight shoes" - they'll thank you by providing beautiful blooms!!
After many years of watching gardening videos, this is a first to say you're asking for help, and it's hired work. Good to know that it was not any large fire and garden is garden is ok, plus people can learn from this video.
So glad you had help with professionals to do a lot of the heavy clean up. Sometimes we need to do that so we can save our energy for other things. I am finally getting my husband to understand that as we get older. Everything is coming together. I can't wait to see the hardscape projects coming together later in the summer.
Linda, your gardens and yard are looking so pretty this year. They had been neglected and you are reviving them. I am amazed at your energy. Keep it up while you can. At 71 I have slowed down from when we lived at our country home where I did so much gardening and landscaping from age 45 to 67. It is so rewarding and such good exercise. I loved seeing Willow with you in the yard. Have a wonderful week!
It's both frustrating and glorious to be a gardener in New England. Thankfully, where you aren't able to save some things from the unexpected frost, other mesmerizing beauties will take their place of reign over our gardens😊. Sadly my peach tree that was loaded down with sweet peaches last year will not produce any this year from an unexpected cold snap, but my other plants are thriving and will be the center of my attention this year. I was smiling at your pillow case remedy. Last year I think I emptied my linen closet of sheets to protect my tender plants, but the efforts were worth it because I was able to enjoy the beauty that was protected throughout the summer and fall❤. Love your videos and inspiration.
So glad you got some help with the front of your home, what a huge difference it makes, now you can just maintain it while you wait for the front walkway.
Just a thought for future reference. I’m the fall when I was disposing on my pumpkins the stems attached to the pumpkins broke off. I kept and dried them and used them in floral decor. The colors and textures (I always like the larger stems that are curved) are great and give an added touch.
I buy thick plastic dollar store shower linings and coated metal tomato stakes to use in garden as "freezer burn protectors". Thread zip ties thru the shower curtain rivets, adding rivets on bottom hems too. You can zip tie them onto the tomato stakes for knee high plantings, or hang the curtains upright as tenting by running sturdy roping onto rod iron 6 ft high shepherd hook planter hangers placed strategically around tall bushes and plants. i weight the bottom of curtains with heavy rocks or bricks if it will be windy storms. Another solution is draping canvas drop clothes, with tomato stakes or branches used to "tent" over plantings, bushes and young trees.
Linda go buy a roll of burlap for freeze times. It’s what we use to protect the cold here. Loving the new garden and that beautiful tree. Glad you saved the roses.
Excited to see what you do with the front window boxes. Mulch looks so nice and so happy you are getting the wire off the roses and giving them freedom!! Love your videos THANK YOU
So thankful that your hubby was home and caught the small fire before it grew destructive. Wow. Never knew. Glad most of your plants survived the cold. My peonies are doing well and really flowering well. Mine are white. I’d like to get some of the dark pink or red ones. I just cut some yesterday to bring into the house. So pretty. Luv the little “stinkers” (hummers) as my mother in law always called them with love. Thanks for sharing. 🌹🌺🐾❤️✝️🍷🦀 I’ve never heard of the eating of elephant on plate saying. So cute. 🤣
Hi LInda, I love the intro. that you have been using for your latests episodes! Thank you for doing the road trips to so many of the towns that I love to visit when I am in New England. It is inspiring me to make nother trip up to New England this year. 2018 was the last time I did a road trip up to New England. It's been too long. I need to do another autumn vacation in New England this year.
Wow, Linda, you are such a hard worker. I got exhausted watching you dart around your garden. My husband and I cleaned up the edging in front of our home today, but you have done so much more. Glad to see that you got some help. Your gardens look lovely. It is a lot of work to keep things tidy. Loved the tour of the shop, wish I could stop in! My mind starts clicking after each of your videos. So many ideas from you. Thanks for inspiring me. Keep ‘em coming and have a wonderful week!
Love your channel! Also wanted to let you know that every time my Labradoodle Beignet hears your theme music she sits in front of the TV and watches for an appearance by Willow! 😊
Good Morning Linda! Watched yesterday but I think I forgot to give you a big thumbs up! Thank you for the update...my goodness y'all are so industrious! You have inspired me to get my "booty" into action and get things done around here! ❤from GA
Everything looks amazing! 🌺 I would definitely love to see the quaint villages and garden 🪴 markets! It’s so beautiful in New England ❤ you are blessed and a blessing…I get so excited when I know you’ve posted 😊 of course I have to watch on the tv so I can view everything lol don’t want to miss anything and I get to watch 3 more Seasons of your in & out and through the woods! ❤ 🪴
It was so nice to see you at Twin Elm. We are very happy with our purchases from your space. Top quality! Glad the gardens had minimal damage from the freeze. No wonder we hear "Don't plant until after Memorial Day."
Love ur video Linda! Beautiful job! Please let us know about ur window boxes, I have been looking for the perfect ones for our cape cod home!❤️ God bless, John 3:16🙏
Hello lovely Linda, How are you?? I’m sorry to hear about your garden, but I know it will get better. You and your home are a joy to watch. Both are genuinely beautiful. Sending love and positive vibes your way all the way from FL ♥️
So beautiful! It is coming together! We have had so much snow and rain here in Utah, my husband and I still haven’t hit the course yet. He is usually out the end of April and I join him once I am done teaching. Which was last Thurs. We have a lot of flooding here as well.
Linda, I am so glad you got help with the landscaping cleanup … it looks so nice. All the work you’ve done in your beds looks wonderful. As a I am cleaning up my flowerbeds here in Ohio, I can relate to hours it takes to have a lovely yard. This was a very enjoyable video. Every segment was something I love to watch in your video’s. Wish I lived closer so I could frequent your shop. Would love to see your videos more than once per week. I never miss an episode! Happy Spring!
Wish I knew about the open house at Twin Elm we would have taken a ride up today. It was beautiful today and our weekend drive ended up in Paxton instead at Nu-tiques. Found some amazing thrifts there too. Twin Elm looked full and beautiful.
Sorry,to hear the cold snap! We here in Minnesota( north of Minneapolis) had 80+ degrees Sunday. My garden is all planted! All my containers are planted, potted up 14 topiaries,10 hydrangeas, all tropicals potted. Glad you called in the troops for landscaping help. Your Roses are going to be so happy now! Oh,my snowball is in full bloom now,sad that your got nipped. We wait all year to see our beautiful blossoms come, and then to see damage is so heartbreaking.
That is why antique cloches often have the ball broken off the top - the breakage was intentional because the gardeners found out that when that style became more readily available, the ball on top acts like a magnifying glass and will burn and kill the plant it is meant to protect.
I enjoyed so much spending a quiet 32 minutes in New England with you and Willow ( and a tiny bit of Ben) on a beautiful Sunday. Your gardens are coming along so well, but it’s too bad about the 🥶! There’s really beautiful homes in the town you showed. The house you showed that you looked at when you were previously house-hunting was so stunning! I really loved the exterior color. I would’ve loved to shop at the garden event. I saw so many things I would’ve probably taken home if I’d been there! lol I hope you, Willow and Ben have a wonderful week. 😊
I have a heavy ball glass lamp on my husband's desk. I'm the wife writing this not Charles! Lol Anyway the desk in front of the window facing south, papers on the desk started smoking one day , from the glass ball shining in the paper. We caught it, thank goodness.
Thank you Linda that was a beautiful episode. And, to my surprise, I heard you say, Japanese snowball viburnum. Here in New Jersey, I have found it impossible to find.
Your garden beds are looking fabulous. I know from personal experience how backbreaking that kind of work is. The “Industrial Strength” weed block is the bain of my existence 🫤. To anyone who reads this please don’t use it in flower beds. Under decorative stone or gravel yes but not flowers. A few years down the road and you have a mess. You are such a hard worker, Linda. You have tackled so much and your gardens are looking beautiful. I loved looking at the old homes, but I think you have a gem in Sugarwood. Willow is so precious taking her nap on a cozy bed.
Those poor roses! Linda to the rescue!!!🌺 I can’t wait to see what they look like in flower, that garden NEEDED you! I am going to check on my glass cloche to make sure I don’t start a fire❤️
I live North of Ann Arbor Mi, have covered my plants many times. Fastest/ easiest way for me is using plastic bags all sizes. They slip on easy and keep in the warmth ❤
Your garden is just so lovely, the landscaping definitely compliments the house. I would think about possibly planting some large white hydrangeas. I think they would look stunning against the wall, and very New English country garden. Plus the blooms would last a lot longer than peonies.
Aha! 😀Now you know that here in NH the climate is a tiny bit colder than where you lived previously. We have a chance at a freeze until May 23 in my area of SW NH and up North until Memorial Day. It just seems like yesterday your gardens were covered in snow and now everything is blooming and green! I'm sorry about the late freeze and your poor plants. We had some cooler weather in the 30's in NJ, but nothing like your freeze. I hope they are all recovered. Happy Gardening! 🌿🌱🌿
Linda, I think you are coming out of your funk. Your total being seems to come alive out in the garden! Here's to a healing summer for you...be free!🦋🦋🦋

Thank goodness you rescued the poor Roses Linda, be interesting to know if they will bloom & what colour they will be. What sort of animal would attack Roses anyway??…. Your energy levels are amazing, I’m 70 this year & I’m finding it harder & harder to keep up with our large garden, just pulled up masses of gone over spring bluebells..🥵🥵… So I don’t blame you for getting in a little help & your yard is looking lovely. My heart melts every time I see Willow, but the sleeping Willow looked so cute… great video thank you Linda..😊
Your cloche fire reminds me of an incident quite a few years ago… I had a beautiful glass paperweight that I placed on a wooden table in the living room in front of my leaded glass windows. BIG MISTAKE! When I came home that evening I noticed that it had BURNED A HOLE IN THE TABLETOP! I was lucky it didn’t burn my house down! A fireman friend of mine said “Linda, this could only happen to you!” 😆
Yaaaaayyy!!! Help has arrived!!! I totally understand!!!..my daughter is a Landscape Architect and my son-in -law is an Arborist.. When their crew does anything to help us it just gives me a major boost in my own energy!!! I'm so happy for you🥰🥰🥰🥰...PS...I say "Fir" also sometimes I even mistakingly type it in texting!!🤭🤭..(I think it just might be the area we live in)🤭🤭
I love seeing the gardens but seeing Willow snoozing on the bed is best sight of all❤️
Your gardens just keep getting better and better. Thank goodness Ben noticed the fire! Thanks for the tour, love all those old homes.
Linda, after church services, I came to my quiet corner of my world, in our home which is all mine to escape to. Thanks! for a added pleasure to my Sunday. You are such an inspiration to me. Your garden is so beautiful. Love seeing Willow so much. She so sweet
I'm absolutely exhausted after watching you work in your yard. Love the tours more.
So glad you got help with your garden. It was just too much for one person. It looked so good after they got done. Glad your fire didn’t spread.

Sitting in my garden taking in some much need vitamin D. Watching your video is so enjoyable and relaxing.
The gardens are popping beautifully with the backdrop of the stone wall.

Love your videos THANK YOU
I'll chime in as well ... what kind of tree is the $20k tree?? 😅
Thank you Linda for the video this week-every week. I look forward to your videos more than you can imagine 😊
Enjoyed this so much, so glad your gardens didn't burn up! Hugs to Willow!

Everything you show these beautiful old homes and buildings I think if only walls could talk the stories they could tell. So interesting love it.
Thank you! Some walls do talk if you saw the ghost video LOL.
Linda what was the name of the tree that was worth $20,000?
Hello lovely Linda,
How are you?? I’m sorry to hear about your garden, but I know it will get better. You and your home are a joy to watch. Both are genuinely beautiful. Sending love and positive vibes your way all the way from FL ♥️

Hi Linda… just wondering why we are only seeing one video a week. We enjoy seeing you when you made more videos. 😞. Please make more… lol ❤️
Wish I knew about the open house at Twin Elm we would have taken a ride up today. It was beautiful today and our weekend drive ended up in Paxton instead at Nu-tiques. Found some amazing thrifts there too. Twin Elm looked full and beautiful.

Things are looking great! This is a great inspiration. You and Willow are doing a great job! Keep it up!
Thank you Linda that was a beautiful episode. And, to my surprise, I heard you say, Japanese snowball viburnum. Here in New Jersey, I have found it impossible to find.
Sometimes we need a little help they did a great job.The store is so inviting Linda everything looks great 👍
Love your tour ❤
Your garden beds are looking fabulous. I know from personal experience how backbreaking that kind of work is. The “Industrial Strength” weed block is the bain of my existence 🫤. To anyone who reads this please don’t use it in flower beds. Under decorative stone or gravel yes but not flowers. A few years down the road and you have a mess. Weed seeds blow in and if not attended to judiciously the weeds roots grow through the barrier. I’ll get off my soapbox now, sorry. I do love gardening though 95 % of the time. You’re doing an amazing job and I thoroughly enjoy your videos.
Beautiful video Linda........for a while I escaped all that's wrong with the world. Thanks for that!!!❤

☀️It all looks so nice🙂
Glad you got some help.
That is massive garden work for one person. I enjoy hearing/seeing all your plans.🌾🌱🌺🐝
I so enjoy watching the progress at Sugarwood. Also love the New England tours!
Aha! 😀Now you know that here in NH the climate is a tiny bit colder than where you lived previously. We have a chance at a freeze until May 23 in my area of SW NH and up North until Memorial Day.
You'll find the garden centers packed with people this weekend because this is when everyone plants their gardens. I know I'll be one of them!
Your property looks beautiful!

Willow was the cutest...now that was a good sleep 😴

Beautiful home and gardens 😍

Linda, what kind of tree is the $20,000 tree? Your gardens are lovely! Thank you for sharing.
It just seems like yesterday your gardens were covered in snow and now everything is blooming and green! I'm sorry about the late freeze and your poor plants. We had some cooler weather in the 30's in NJ, but nothing like your freeze. I hope they are all recovered. Happy Gardening! 🌿🌱🌿
I absolutely love love love love your videos; so inspiring. Thank you so much Linda 💞💞💞💞💞💞💞💞💞
Love your new opening! Would not miss a show. You beautifully remind us to live a fine life. Thank you😊
Thank you! I'm glad you enjoy it.
Good morning Linda
Love your gardens, and the woods behind the house looks magical everything looks amazing. Have a great rest of the day 👋🙂🌹
We have dealt with cooler temps too and spring has been so slow coming. Beautiful video.
Linda, I think you are coming out of your funk. Your total being seems to come alive out in the garden! Here's to a healing summer for you...be free!🦋🦋🦋
Your videos are always uplifting to me. Thank you . Seeing Willow stick his nose into everything you do is soooo cute. Linda, your yard is lovely and whew....so much to upkeep. While you think of adding, I try to simplify & make my garden beds easy to maintain.
Thank you for this mornings video. After enjoying watching you, I convinced myself to get out their and get the veggie garden prepped. You are a joy and inspiration to watch. Now if I can get started as early as you in the morning, well, we will see...haaa ~~Mary Ann, Cape Cod

Perfect ending to a delightful adventure 😊
Linda, I love watching your videos. The garden beds look fantastic! Willow is darling taking her doggie nap.❤
Enjoyed the visit…can see you have been hard at work….as a young child i started a fire in the leave pile using a magnifying glass😂
Just stunning!
So glad to find your video this morning. Just sitting here with my coffee. Couldn't be more enjoyable!
Wonderful! Thank you for watching!

So glad you hired some some helping hands for your garden. Doesn’t fresh mulch make a world of difference. Everything is looking so beautiful!
I may have missed the name of the $20,000.00 tree, but could you please repeat the name again. Thx.🇨🇦
Window boxes…YES!
Looking so good.
Your cloche fire reminds me of an incident quite a few years ago… I had a beautiful glass paperweight that I placed on a wooden table in the living room in front of my leaded glass windows.
