Prince Skylark there’s a reason Spider-Man is the last movie of phase 3 and not Endgame. It is completely possible that Mysterio is lying about him being a “good guy” and not the multiverse part.

Those giant beings are the Elementals; Magnum (Earth), Hydron (Water), Hellfire (Fire), and Zephyr (Air). I think they are all illusions constructed by Mysterio, who I think is a bad guy and is trying to take the light away from Spider-Man. If Mysterio ends up being a good guy the whole time, I'd be upset. He's my favorite villain ever and I want him to be the mastermind behind everything in this film.

The answer to how he got the stones so quickly from Thanos: he made that gaunlet himself out of his own nanobots. That was why he was the only one who could take them from him. He can move his nanobots around however he wants. He basically just had to touch it and he wins.

On the other hand, Cobie Smulders wasn't actually CGed into the funeral scene of Endgame. The Russo Bros said all of the actors were physically there to shoot the scene that day! Which is insane considering how many big names were there and the number of people there were!

I think Mysterio may appear "good" through most of the movie. A great twist, rather than the usual "starts out good, something turns him bad," would be to have him do like Mordo at the end of "Doctor Strange" and only appear to us as a villian, and carry his true motives into the next movie.
Yes, I really need to know how Tony got the stones. If only there was some explanation as to how Tony Stark, super genius, used a nanotech suit to get the infinity stones out of the nanotech glove that he himself personally built just hours earlier. If only there was some logical, maybe even obvious explanation, perhaps even SO obvious that it could be understood without words if you give it even five seconds of thought! If only...

I like to think that when Mysterio says “To save the world, sometimes people have to die” (or whatever he says) that it is actually a double entendre - don’t necessarily think it’s just to comfort Peter, it could be a warning or hint that Mysterio is going to do anything to save his world; especially if it means sacrificing this one 🤔

Maybe Beck didn't lie about there being a multiverse, as this movie is after Wandavision and Loki. Maybe that's why everyone was quick to believe him. He just lied about falling out of it. Maybe at this point, the fallout from whatever is going to happen on Loki and the "mulitverse war" has already begun, and upon a second viewing of this in timeline order, that will be more apparent. As well as explain J. Jonah Jameson.

Mysterio is a bad guy from the word go. And, he is NOT from the multiverse, he is lying. Mysterio was ALWAYS a HUGE liar. And, those are NOT The Elementals. It's Molten Man, Hydro Man, Sandman, etc, and it is ALL a HUGE set-up. Mysterio the actor.
For the multiverse open a breach to all the Spider-Man villains that might be an interesting plot twist. 🤔😀
Tony got the stones so quickly because the gauntlet was made out of Tony's Nano Tech, so it essentially transferred over to his current armor. Similar to like how his armor was being replaced when Thanos kept ripping his armor off in Infinity War and the Nano Tech would replace parts that were broken or ripped off.
You know, is it bad to say that I personally think marvel hasn’t done anything bad film-wise in a long time, and it’s damn impressive

Ooh man! They just opened Pandora's box with their multiverse bomb. Now if that isn't a perfect segway for Disney to fold the X-men into the MCU idk what is. The ink is dry from Fox sealing the deal, so phase 4 might give us so major surprise.

Sadly according to post credit #2, Nick Fury and Maria Hill being "not no dummies" is irrelevant because they aren't them... they are skrulls. Which in one fell swoop explains why they were tricked by Mysterio and why they were incapable of calling the other avengers.
I feel like this was a script problem to force Spiderman to solve an Avengers level threat (elementals that will eat the planet from their pov) without the Avengers. The only answer they could come up with was "because, skrulls." It might be ok to do for comics you have to publish every single week, but I expect better from a multibillion dollar franchise that has YEARS to write a script. OK, let's just add new rules to the universe so that we can justify as many plotholes as we want. Because that's good writing!
Being from another universe is something that I don't feel like someone could get away lying to Nick Fury about. Doing that sort of thing is just asking for the most thorough background check to have ever occurred. Now... is the good guy act a put on? That remains to be seen. He might be faking it. It might be genuine, but something is going to turn him against Spider-Man. I guess we'll just have to wait and see. Interesting possibilities all around. :)

@@princedagpin22 true but i am not sure marvel would pretend to open up the multiverse just to actually open it up later; it would be a bit anticlimactic after getting everyone's hopes up before. I do think mysterio is lying about something (maybe being from the multiverse) but I am not sure why he would have to lie about the multiverse's existence. also why would mysterio even know about the multiverse's existence to begin with? he would have to know about thanos to even put together this lie. you definitely could be right but of course with every trailer, i need a bit more context. =)

In endgame Captain Marvel did make a comment where she said there were plenty of other planet that’s why she was there npw helping them because the avengers had been there on that earth the whole time and other earths needed her. I really do believe they are going to bring the multi verse in that it’s not going to be just an illusion. It’s the best way to keep storylines going without over complicating them or backtracking and making any kind of mistake that doesn’t make sense. I just think Mysterio was one of the people who came through the crack in the dimension I think he is behind everything and he is the real illusion. Pretending to he good. I also really enjoy the fact that Gwen knows he is Spiderman. It was always so far-fetched that everybody around them has no clue whatsoever who Spiderman is when there are so many coincidences. It’s about time they made her look smart
