Green Kochchi Miris, Birds eye chili, Thai Chili and chili plant Sri Lanka

Green Kochchi Miris, Birds eye chili or Thai chili are a very hot spicy version of the normal chili. Green and White versions exists (green kochchi turns red, when fully ripen). Kochchi Chili is about 1/4th or 1/5th of the common (long) variety of green chili. You can find kochchi miris or brid's eye chili in Sri Lankan markets and also can see in village areas as well. Kochchi is said to be common in Ethiopia and other South Asian countries as well. Add some kochchi (chop and add )when you make pol roti, it will give you an awesome taste..!
