Thanks mate, very helpful. My low beam filament burnt out so I had to replace it today. I've got a CBR250R so it's very similar but have only one headlight. I had a lot of wires though so the more difficult part was actually taking off the rubber dust cover and wriggling out the globe. It's kind of in an awkward place with lot of wires across it that I couldn't get entirely out of the way. Disconnecting the globe was easy. Interestingly putting the clip back on took only 10sec but trying to put back the wire and connector inside of the rubber dust cover and then getting it connected to the globe was painful. Took like 15min, lot of swearing and a bloody finger nail but finally done and working! Don't have to blind people anymore with my high beam haha. Next time I have to replace it I might as well sell the bike :P
I’m replacing my halogen lights with LEDs and need to remove that base that you kept. How can i do this? I’ve pushed the little pin on the side but it doesn’t come loose
Auto bulbs are really delicate like these ones...the oil on your skin stains the bulbs and can dramatically shorten the life of the bulb as the bulb gets used and gets heated up to such high temperatures.. Thats why you never touch the glass part with your hands of skin as the slightest amount of oil can screw the bulb up and you will have to replace then again very quickly.
@@coldlikechips what does it screw up? I've only had bulbs fail with burnt filaments. Oil on the outside of the glass wouldn't affect the filament in any way
I would say no, however been a new bike it might be worth taking it straight back to your dealer and telling them that the position lights are Fawlty.. However the Parker globes are always pretty standard 12v wedge globes.
I live in Canada, and my 2015 CBR 300 does not seem to have come with "headlight globes" either. I checked for OEM parts, and it doesn't seem to come with any. www.bikebandit.com/oem-parts/2015-honda-cbr300r-headlight/o/m156899sch908156 Can you help me locate a bulb on amazon I should purchase to fit in that spot. Thank you.
One side on my bike, the low beam was not working but high beam was. I change the bulb this morning, and low beam still does not work on that side (2021 CBR300R). Any ideas? EDIT: Actually, I just noticed that on one side I only get low beam, and the other side I only get high beam... EDIT 2: It's apparently supposed to work this way?
I have so many video ideas for the bikes and so little time. I am trying to make a flame thrower FZ6R video but need to find a nice empty space where I can make some noise!!
Yes, this is normal.. One side is the headlight (which is always on) and the other side is the high beam (which one comes on when selected) however some people choose to ride with the high beam on all the time to be more noticeable by cars

Ok so I am trying to clip that wire back in. This is very hard.
I can not get the clip back I’ve been at it for an hour..super frustrating
Yep, they can be a nightmare sometimes :(
@@coldlikechips like I can’t even see where it clips into. Trying your motion to go up back and slide down but it’s not clipping into anything.
Dude this helped me heaps thanks.
+LaCruz all good man! Glad to help.

nice man, What camera are you using, immaculate quality
It's the camera on my phone (Samsung galaxy note 4 edge) it's even better in 60fps!
wow I need to get myself one of those man, looks amazing bro, Good information vid
Yo same bike as mine. Lines and all. Do you still have this?
What do you mean by Parkers? Can you tell the numbers and brand of both of those light bulbs you out in new?
I heard you say the bulb is an H7 globe? do they have a make for LED lights?
How did you change the high beam?
Very nice video. Congrats.
Could you please advise which bulb did you use for parkers and headlights?
It's a H7 bulb for the head light and the high beam... And the parkers are just your standard 12v wedge globe
coldlikechips Thanks!
is the install similar for LED bulbs?
What kind of light bulb you use How many watt ?
Great video, but can you give more info about headlights and parkers? H7 is connection type, isn't it? And all are 12V bulbs?
Yes that's correct h7 is the connection type.. The headlight and high beam are both 12V 55W.... And the parkers are just T 10 wedge globes.
Honda cbr300r 2019 is h4 or h7 led ??
Some good instructions.
Thanks mate, I tried to find a video on how to do it, couldn't find one so figured I would video me working it out. Haha.
Nice video Mate,
I just want to know why did u used cloth while touching the bulb, you are saying dont touch there,

I live in the US, my corner lights don't turn on? Is there a difference?

Mine was an older model but on mine only one side was low beam and the other side was high beam.
How about a headlight adjustment video too.

why on daytime the headlight only turn on one side is this normal in cbr300r?

Hey, i hope, you still are able to see this comment... is this similiar to the CBR500R? Because I cant find such a tutorial for the CBR500R :/
Fiete Kröger if a 500 has the same headlight set up it should be the same.
