    As an 8L owner I LOVE this video, thank you for posting. Are you using a Haldex controller at all?

    Can you give some Information about the exhaust setup? How do you get a 1.8t to sound great like that.

    • @nate_titch3674
      @nate_titch3674  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      It’s pretty simple. Custom dump pipe, 2 1/2 inch mild steel with straight through muffler.

    Hello mate, awesome car how's the gearbox and suspension coping with rallying?

    • @nate_titch3674
      @nate_titch3674  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Gearbox is going strong, will do some upgrades in the coming year. Suspension has been fine, damaged a front strut during this event, more it’s age. New bilsteins in coming.

    I’m planning on buying one for rallying!
    Are you running a haldex controller and have you swapped in lsd’s yet?

    • @nate_titch3674
      @nate_titch3674  ปีที่แล้ว

      I haven't yet. Will be doing both next if i don't decide to keep it. I don't think it has really missed out on not having the haldex controller, will only be installing, as deleting the abs.

    Are you happy with 4x4 and stock S3 gearbox? im thinking to build 8L for hillclimb. Thanks for your responses !

    • @nate_titch3674
      @nate_titch3674  9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Yeah mate, It has been a very good combo. Id suggest a haldex controller for more rear drive.

    Did he facelifted this S3? On the internet, it says that the S3 facelift came out in 2002.

    • @nate_titch3674
      @nate_titch3674  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Correct, I’ve fitted facelift headlights & front guards after an incident at an event a couple of years ago.

    Do you think that the S3 8L would work as a dirt stage rally car well?

    • @nate_titch3674
      @nate_titch3674  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Absolutely no idea to be honest. I've never done any gravel rallying, only tarmac.

      @@nate_titch3674 thanks!
      I m using the same car, for trackdays and stuff and i really enjoy it when i see an S3 being driven so nice and fast.
      i run early(my99) mk1 tt front swingarm bushes( with aluminum inserts to change the diameter of the cast swingarms) and a total of 30mm wider front wheel track width.
      made the car way way more responsive at the front end!

    How much hp and torque?

    • @nate_titch3674
      @nate_titch3674  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      It makes 198kw at the wheels. That equates to about 265hp at wheels.
      I can’t give torque figures, as dyno can’t provide accurate torque figures.
