1430 miles is right! You must of googled that lol, I did! Yes it was a epic challenge but we do love a challenge, in hindsight we should have prepared the bikes and left a couple days earlier but it all worked out fine and the return journey was much more epic as we had more time for diversions!

The angles you get are great including the height too…you’re definitely a cut above the rest that I’ve seen…although some of Saffy Sprockets cinematography is a close second but your content is much much better.

Yes costly for sure but there’s no way we would go two up to save costs, Ewa loves to ride just as much as me….. what we need to do is look at touring elsewhere…

@@silverarrow2558 You can’t go wrong in Italy really it’s all so beautiful, you would thing the economy would be thriving there I can’t understand why things seem to of gone so wrong there. Outside the main cities the smaller towns and villages are empty of business etc, very strange to me
I love Italy, and have long considered Rome to be the number 1 city in the world, followed by London in second place. That seemed to be an epic trip and although I have been to Rome numerous times I have either flown or gone by overnight sleeper train from Paris. October can be a great time to go to southern Europe. It makes you realise how crap our UK weather is.

I went from London to Paris on the Euroster, then Paris to Rome by sleeper, had 3 nights in Rome, then Rome to Cefalu on the next sleeper (the train actually goes on the ship across to Sicily). I make the journey part of the holiday. I've also done Spain by sleeper train..
@@ontheroadadventure Dead easy. Work on the railway...🤣 As an ex-British Rail employee I get pretty much free worldwide travel by train. If I use the Eurostar it costs me about £40 each way. Continental sleeper births cost me roughly £10 per trip. So Sicily works out at £120 return. Ever thought about a career on the railway?

I thought that drone regulations were very strict in Europe? It's illegal here in the states to fly over people like you did at the beach and flying at night especially over cities I think you have to have a commercial drone licence.

You were very lucky, folks. Drone is forbidden in Rome, if you'd been caught, you'd have been fined quite some.

No there’s different rules for the different size drones here although I suspect it won’t be long before stricter rules are enforced here in sure
Dunno if it's already been said but you could have rode down through Germany and avoided all the toll charges. Plus Germany is better than France.
We were on a time restraint going down but coming back yes we did the “very scenic” route! We like Germany 👍
