As we Travel our way back through Europe Touring our motorbikes all the way from England to Rome and back via Switzerland we take in Amazing Mountain Views, Lakes and perfect Motorcycling Roads. Yes its cold.... But we are on the road Adventure!
With all the adventure motorcycle gear available now we thought we might see a few more of the hardcore motorcycle adventure riders in the alps but we didn’t see another motorcycle?!

You two are epic! It doesn't matter what is thrown your way you just get on with it, well done both of you, stunning ride and incredible scenery. You've made me want to go touring and it's the middle of November and I have no holidays left!! 🤣thank you for sharing, regards Dennis.
Thanks Dennis, What can we say, its a labour of love. Motorcycling just never gets old. We finish one trip and cannot wait to go again. If we didnt have to come home to earn we would live on the road!
I was always told that it takes at least 7 crashes to make a biker. Please remember that biking is a hobby and you are always learning. You did the right thing. You got up, brushed yourself off and got back on again. Ps I love your adventures
7 Crashes to be a biker! Let us all hope not lol. Thanks though, Yes rich says the same after 20 years of riding he still learning. Thanks for joining us, we appreciate your support
I’ve been to Swiss yesterday and yes it is ❄️🥶🥶
Wow !
how was it?
Well done! What bike do you ride? Not many about this time of year willing to do it. We kind of like the isolation of no-one being around
Rather Cold and Wet for us!

I live in the Netherlands, just bought my Ducati Multistrada Enduro 1260, and am going to Switzerland next summer, my sister lives there and wants to tour there, you have made beautiful images and I am looking forward to it even more now.
Switzerland is stunning but be prepared for the expense too. We rode to Poland last year and travelled through the Netherlands, we really liked it there and want to return and tour it properly
Great videos from you guys. We'll done...💯
Thanks so much, are you following the current tour in Portugal and Spain?
I went to Grosotto (Italy) in late October ice and some snow on the passes. great fun but had to be careful in places. Rain hit from Luxembourg until Calais and fog in the UK to home. soaked, tired and very cold, but loved the alps, can't wait to go back. Next time in the summer though
Now thats Adventure
Nice travel video. Greetings from Switzerland.
Thanks so much for joining us on the road
your right one day we will drop our bikes & its more than likely when your just moving slowly ,parking it or getting off it. Our trip is in May Netherlands ,Sweden ,Denmark, Germany, back to the Netherlands for the ferry home to Newcastle
That will be a great trip, we passed through Netherlands when riding to Poland and found that we really liked it there, we stayed in some great rustic places and found it to be a really friendly place with nice rural roads, a real unexpected gem
It happens. Don’t worry about it as long as your OK. Brave souls in that weather. Keep it up.
Thanks Ian, Its almost a good thing to get the First drop of your bike over with! We had such a good day in the alps

@ontheroadadventure hi, I'm in the Cotwolds just outside of Tetbury Gloucestershire . Great riding around hear 👍👍
Awesome, we did a few days tour in cotswolds this year, you may have seen the videos, we cant believe we over looked the area for so long, Some beautiful places to ride there
Good luck to you both.
Thanks For Joining us on the road Peter
Switzerland is so beautiful but when I have been there we never stop because it’s so expensive. You need a bank 🏦 loan to eat 👍safe riding and enjoy 👍
Yes this is so true, last year we stayed a good few days and did all the passes in the summer and were stunned by the cost of everything, Especially food. Even in Supermarkets it was madness..... We Remembered this and planned our Swiss Trip to be in and out in a day this time for this reason
Hi from Australia,
Great video, I have just come across your channel.
It is good to see the Passes in different conditions everyone films them in good weather , I think both of you have done great.
I brought a NT1100 new day 3 of a 21 day trip I dropped it, so upset with myself because I haven’t dropped a bike in 10 years and this was a new one. And you are right anyone who rides will dropped their bike.
Cheers and thanks for the videos 👍
We are glad you enjoyed the video! That’s a great touring bike you got there! Dropping a bike is never a choice but like you say when it happens is so upsetting.
How is riding in Australia? Are you planning any trips to Europe, maybe even Alps?
@@ontheroadadventureHi there how are you guys doing? I do 2 big trips a year each about 3 weeks long and somewhere between 5000 and 8000 thousand Kilometres. The riding isn’t like the Alps, but beautiful all the same. To give you an idea how big Australia is England fits into it 32 times. The state of New South Wales where I live England fits in 8 times. I ride most days and in all weather, it is normal to ride 3or400 kilometres a day just for fun. I would love to travel Europe but that would probably be a few years away. Cheers 🦘👍
@@brothersgobiking7187 wow you must have such a diverse range of roads and places to ride, we are very jealous. What’s the best place near you you would recommend to someone visiting? I will look it up on TH-cam
Hi. It depends on what part and what State you visit, you can ride through rainforest to deserts and great open spaces where the only thing you will see is the horizon. We have farms that are as big as Scotland, when you get out west the average size farm is about 10,000 acres. The roads can be straight for kilometres or twisty like in Scotland without the spectacular views. Cheers 🦘👍
@@brothersgobiking7187 we need to get over there and spend a month or two exploring
Wow..great drone flying and footage...epic scenery up there. Yes the wet helmets not nice when it's cold weather.. glad Ur both ok n making good mileage still. I've dropped bikes a few times..shit happens..usually in front of a crowd of people..foot slipping on gravel surface or uneven surface n the bike just wants a rest for a bit..
Thanks so much, Rich has become a rather good Drone Pilot! although scenery like that is hard to make look bad! Have you got a solution for the wet helmet? we would love that one lol. The dreaded gravel..... Hope you didnt damage you bike much?
@@ontheroadadventure wet helmet fix = hair dryer in services or hotel rooms. Towels or cloths to soak up the water, silicone on the rubber helmet strips, Goretex balaclava, or a polythene bag on top of your head...like a shower cap. 😁🍻👍 Keep the vents closed on your helmets.
@@FREE_PUREBLOOD333 Does a waterproof balaclava exist?! Maybe sealskinz make something like that, the socks are excellent.

I lost my balance doing a u-turn in a quiet side street & gave myself an umbilical hernia picking the bike back up 🤦♂️ Really enjoying this series. Keep up the good work 👏👏👏

Thank you. To me you are heros. Down to earth yet so inspiring. Brilliant drone footage 😊
Hey, thanks a ton for your awesome comment! We're stoked that you find us inspiring and love our drone footage. Keep watching and we'll keep flying those drones!
Hi Both, Thanks for your replys to my comments today. Think you are great. Warts and all reporting from the front line. I am preparing for a solo trip from Southern Spain up to Austria to ride the Gross Glockner. Have German friends that I am meeting there. Good info about riding in Italy. I have driven a car there but never my bike. We spent a fortune on Tolls with the car. Glad to have subscribed to the new Morcame and Wise show. I am going to be travelling alone as my wife would have thrown the bike in the hedge and got a taxi home if it rained for that length of time. love your videos and have told all my mates to watch.
Thanks so much, we hope to grow the channel and do much more this year. Sounds like you’re in for a great trip. We did all the Swiss passes Just before we started TH-cam. You will love it, a top tip though… For the popular passes go early or late in the day as they can get very busy which can spoil the fun. Just go with the flow and don’t try to plan every detail 👍 Any questions feel free to ask, we will help if we can
I admire you!! Anyone can ride in beautiful weather, but driving in such difficult conditions is a real art. Ewa is resilient as a woman, my idol 😍😍😍
Oh thank you soo much, we just love to do it.... It cant always be easy or it would not be a challenge
Nice to watch yours videos.I ride pretty much same roads as you,in last summer. Now we have snow on the ground😢.Winter is here in Finland.Waiting spring to get pack on the bike again.
What do you do when you can’t ride your bike? Snow mobile?

Everyone who rides adventure bikes will drop the bike at some point. A stationary drop is by far the commonest, normally on adverse camber.
Step off the bike and let the guards do what they are supposed to do. Try not to be sad and blame yourself.
I ride circa 17000 to 18000 miles a year and I have no doubt I will put mine on the floor at some point, again. I hope mine goes down as well as yours did.
Having fun watching your videos.😃😃...its snowing outside 😢
Thanks ☺️ You are so right but it hurts the pride more than anything else! My poor bike! 18k a year is impressive, Is that touring creating the big miles?
@@ontheroadadventure Yes, myself and my wife Sam generally travel to Europe a couple of times a year. I don't own a car so my bikes are my main form of transport. Have fun and I will wait to see where you guys travel next. For me and Sam it is Romania in June then Corsica in September 24.

Don’t be upset ☝️ what I can say is I’ve never dropped my bike but I have dropped my wife’s ☝️and that is definitely more painful than dropping your own , doesn’t matter how long or how much experience you have it happens 🙏❤️ another good video
Rich knows your pain! He dropped my old bike in the garage and was gutted, felt so bad about it
Most of the “offs” are caused by fatigue, you just get tired. It happens and hopefully no one is hurt and no damage
You may be right here, just a moment at the end of the day. Ewa jumped straight back up just felt embarssed she dropped it for the first time. I have always said, i have been riding 20 plus years and still always fit crash protection for WHEN i drop the bike.... It will happen at somepoint and we want to be ready for it!
No damage and even if there was the important bit is you are ok
Just damaged pride!
I was out Switzerland in June and it was hot, stayed in Wassen bottom of Sustan pass. Bought a Vienette to escape the traffic jams it was heaven but 36€ 😢
We prefer the small roads as much as we can when there’s time
8am this Sunday past, rushing to get to the start of the Las Vegas F1 race…pulled up outside my local, kicked the side stand out as I coasted in to park…only the stand had retracted again and me and the GS went arse over kettle in the car park! Thankfully, no one was outside to witness it, but I felt a right muppet! It happens…🙈🤷♂️😂🏍️🍺👍🇿🇦

Great video guys, rain does have a plus side, it brings the colour in the scenery out much better with more colour contrast. Speaking of rain tho' did you not think of bringing Rain X with you for your windscreens and visors, you would have had much better vision with a coating. Ride safe.
Thanks, yes all weathers have its perks, unless its cold! Rain x is suppose to make plastics Brittle over time. We were shown this at a demo at the NEC Bike show one year and i stopped using it..... Having said that, im sure he was selling us a alternative!
Over time? How long were you at the NEC 😉

Yes it’s the pride that gets damaged the most! Thank goodness for Barkbusters and crash bars! Have you fitted them to your bike?
I absolutely LOVED that scenery and would happily ride in the same conditions you did.... I mean WOW! Ewa, believe Rich when he says we all drop our bikes. I managed it, on camera, in front of nine other riders in the car park at Watchet. The main thing is... you are OK, and so is the bike so the adventure continues.
Thanks so much Neil, I didnt catch this one on camera but of course i had a audience... You are not putting your bike away for winter either then? We cant understand this idea of not riding for months, we couldnt do without our motorbikes
A motorcycle cannot fall unless seen 😉
@@ontheroadadventure no, I don't put my Suzuki away for winter, I just chose the days I ride on. From the age of 16 to 19 I lived in Nailsea and worked weekends and holidays at Gordano services.... all year round. The only way to get to work and back was on my moped and then later by motorbike. The one thing that would make me borrow my mum's car was ice!

Beautiful guys 😊 I would love to visit 🇨🇭as it’s where my Grandma was from.
Honestly in the short time I’ve been riding, I have dropped my bike often, I’ve only got a 29in leg, so I’m wary when stopping, my ‘no return threshold’ is always looming, but yay for crash bars!
Its never nice dropping the bike but once you realise its not made of glass, the fear eases off a bit.
A few years ago, I had a Tiger 1200, I dropped that F'ing thing 3 times, 30 + years of riding & that's it. I blamed the rebound, if I stopped sharply, the front would dive so much, I'd get my foot down, then as the front came back up, lose my footing & over I went... Argh!!! 3 F'ing times...😂😅😂
Anyway, Top Tip, in that rain. No waterproof I've ever owned has kept me dry when Euro tripping all day. Get your layers on, then the Black Bin Liner Poncho goes on over the layers (just cut out for your head & arms), then your jacket. Never, ever fails, shoulders, chest & tummy, dry n toasty.... If really bad, 1 on each leg, wrapped round under the pants too.... 👍👍👍
Gave us a good chuckle about the black bags, but if it works it ain’t stupid. Thanks for joining us on the road…

Paneer pops off on impact? Are there any security concerns with that? Like someone being able to pop them off the bike? 🧐🤔
our guess was that they are designed like this, our thinking was its better the boxes come off rather than breaking your leg which is why allot of people like soft luggage, especially for off road. You would have to really put some effort into getting the boxes off forcefully so i guess anyone with that much intent was always going to get into them or get them off anyway?

Is the Africa Twin better than the KTM 890 Adventure ?
Oh yes! For a start id never take the KTM on an adventure. Far too unreliable. I owned the 890 for about 10 days and after numerous faults, leaks and non starting issues i got rid back to the dealer.
