@@littlelion7820 it's such a problem with the fancams isn't it, you get some that have perfect audio but terrible video and then others with perfect video but terrible audio and of course the camera focus is always on Dimash so you can't see what's going on around him. Everything gets taken out of context with just snippets. It's like the Virtuosos show, reactors have just watched the Placido Domingo song, seen the other judges sat at the table and thought Dimash was in the competition. 🤣

I attended this concert. Yes, there were backing vocalists. But you need to keep in mind that, unlike other concerts of this world tour, this concert was organized by Chinese producers, and at their request, the concert was accompanied (backup singers, musicians, dancers) not by members of Dimash’s team, but by people who were provided by the Chinese team. It is quite obvious that Dimash has not worked with these people before, and some inconsistency in actions is possible, since they had little time to jointly hone their performances, especially new songs in Dimash’s repertoire.

p.s. another reactor went to the concert and blogged it...he said on the fan cams it sounds like DQs voice was under amplified or drowned out by the band and the back up singers, but that it did NOT sound that way there in the hall, he was very fully amplified and audible.
Thanks for this! I actually prefer the live fan cams and the live concerts he releases on his channel. It seems like any other performances get over produced in post by the tv shows. It still sounds amazing because it's still him but I like the raw vocals better. Please check out his duet with Placido Domingo!

This is a recording from a Dear recording on her mobile phone. Official launch not up yet. Gr8 they uploaded it for us to see. Yes to support singers, usually there though not always singing. The lyrics r jo on some dear recordings, the riffs u reffer to are less than u think. Some r must runs of words just not yet ditinguishable as yet. But find the lyrics n ull see.

You are absolutely right the backing singers were too loud at some point. At his concert here in Hong Kong, as already mentioned, there were backing singers from China and not the ones he usually has. IMHO their voices didn’t work well with Dimash‘s voice. They didn’t blend with each other. I‘m eagerly waiting to hear this song in a better sound quality with his own backing singers because the song is 🔥 and will sound even better with them.

The whole concert is available, but the two song premieres are the standouts - 'The Sory of One Sky' and 'El Amor En Ti'. The whole concert is available in 3 parts on Dimash's channel, and One Sky is also on a fancam, which I prefer as it focuses on Dimash the whole time, whereas the official video dances around a bit much. @@paivyt. I've seen two really nasty reactions from two Russian "vocal coaches" one of whom previously admitted that he hadn't finished his classical training so I don't know what gives him authority to criticise Dimash singing opera.
This is a fancam, you can't expect hearing him precisely. Plus, i can tell whose video this is, and they were up front and near the speakers, so some of the sound got distorted. We Dears are waiting for the official MV. We know it's "soon" 😂.
HE has 3 backing singers 2 ladies amd a man,they are all top vocal singers on their right,they are like family,they go everywhere with him,has his own full band ,top,producers is married to one of the girl singer,she is a great singer!
Love your videos :) I think the loud track vocals are meant to give him a bit of rest where he doesn`t have to go full power, it`s a long song in a 3 hour concert full of complicated stuff, it`s in english, which stresses him out a bit, especially when he intends to do it live (his memory of the pronunciation in english goes a bit in and out). The single low voice doubling his on "making a name ain`t easy these days", in the middle of the song, is his own voice in a lower octave, on a track, for effect. Regarding backing vocalists, he usually has his own team with him everywhere, however I think for this particular concert he didn`t, I think the backing was on carefully recorded track, which is going to be part of the music video. He filmed the music video while in the US, and I think the backing vocals (choir) might have been recorded there also. p.s. another reactor went to the concert and blogged it...he said on the fan cams it sounds like DQs voice was under amplified or drowned out by the band and the back up singers, but that it did NOT sound that way there in the hall, he was very fully amplified and audible.

Thanks for this! I actually prefer the live fan cams and the live concerts he releases on his channel. It seems like any other performances get over produced in post by the tv shows. It still sounds amazing because it's still him but I like the raw vocals better. Please check out his duet with Placido Domingo!
This has to be a fan cam I think that’s why you’re hearing that difference in how he sounds in the volume. This is not an official thing at all but amazing non the less

You are absolutely right the backing singers were too loud at some point. At his concert here in Hong Kong, as already mentioned, there were backing singers from China and not the ones he usually has. IMHO their voices didn’t work well with Dimash‘s voice. They didn’t blend with each other. I‘m eagerly waiting to hear this song in a better sound quality with his own backing singers because the song is 🔥 and will sound even better with them.
Hi Sam, great reaction again, as always. Maybe you could try some of the live stuff from Dimash's Almaty 'Stranger' concert. The whole concert is available, but the two song premieres are the standouts - 'The Sory of One Sky' and 'El Amor En Ti'. The whole concert is available in 3 parts on Dimash's channel, and One Sky is also on a fancam, which I prefer as it focuses on Dimash the whole time, whereas the official video dances around a bit much. The sound is better on the official one though.

I was not at this show, but Dimash usually has backup singers. But this Hong Kong show was not his normal backup band/singers.

Hurry! Because this Friday there will be more from the Virtuosos talent show of aspiring young classical musicians. Domingo himself invited Dimash to take part as a judge on the jury evaluating the talent AND to do a duet together. Find the duet on Dimash's channel then go to Virtuosos channel to view the program! It's all spectacular!

@@paivyt. I've seen two really nasty reactions from two Russian "vocal coaches" one of whom previously admitted that he hadn't finished his classical training so I don't know what gives him authority to criticise Dimash singing opera.
Remember as you consider sound and mix issues this is just recorded by someone's cellphone! The song has not even been released yet.

This is a fancam, you can't expect hearing him precisely. Plus, i can tell whose video this is, and they were up front and near the speakers, so some of the sound got distorted. We Dears are waiting for the official MV. We know it's "soon" 😂.

HE has 3 backing singers 2 ladies amd a man,they are all top vocal singers on their right,they are like family,they go everywhere with him,has his own full band ,top,producers is married to one of the girl singer,she is a great singer!
not in this Hong Kong concert. There were different back up singers from China. And producer (arranger Erlan ) is not married anymore
Love your videos :) I think the loud track vocals are meant to give him a bit of rest where he doesn`t have to go full power, it`s a long song in a 3 hour concert full of complicated stuff, it`s in english, which stresses him out a bit, especially when he intends to do it live (his memory of the pronunciation in english goes a bit in and out). The single low voice doubling his on "making a name ain`t easy these days", in the middle of the song, is his own voice in a lower octave, on a track, for effect. Regarding backing vocalists, he usually has his own team with him everywhere, however I think for this particular concert he didn`t, I think the backing was on carefully recorded track, which is going to be part of the music video. He filmed the music video while in the US, and I think the backing vocals (choir) might have been recorded there also.
