    I was stuck in traffic along side one of these for about twenty minutes the other day. Honestly, the styling has aged wonderfully as they have so much presence and the longer you look at it, they more little details you see.

    I just looked at sale prices for a new GTR, a base model Premium is listed for $120k, $5k below MSRP. In year 2018 Nissan sold 60 of these cars in the USA and in 2019 only 30 was sold. Low sales is what discontinues every car production run. Lament all you want over the prior generation Toyota Supra, Mazda RX7, Honda NSX, etc. Unfortunately, the GTR maybe history because people are not buying them.

    This makes the 911 you reviewed look like a bargain buy. And that was selling for 220k with options. It breaks my heart to see the evolution of the GTR. In one model, R35, Nissan has managed to show us what value is. Value that is of both the good and bad.

    The difference between this and any $200k supercar, is that the GTR oil changes can be done at a local shop for $60 and not $1500 at a dealer. And you do not need to drop the engine for changing or replacing anything on the engine, not even the transmission. I have the 2012 and the only issues is the tires, they do not last that long, and transmission oil every 30k . It also has 68k miles on the odometer. original owner, stock, no modifications.

  • @TWHISPERER
    @TWHISPERER 4 ปีที่แล้ว

    As fast as some Supercars that are $200K, so if you think of the performance aspect, this car is worth $200K. However, those other cars are more luxurious and are more sporty looking than this GTR is, so is it worth $200K when you look at it that way? No. I Love this car but i wouldn't even buy it for $200K. For that price, give me the NSX.
