Hi, I recently (3 months ago) purchased the Ecm synchronika ii double boiler machine and have noticed that the steam wand sometimes drops several degrees when steaming the milk (from 130 to 112 degrees), resulting in improperly textured milk. It happens once or twice randomly throughout the day ( I make approx 6 shots or more during the day) I was curious if this was normal in this machine, considering it gas a double boiler as well as a PID to maintain temperatures/pressures? I was wondering if it could be that the ecm steam boiler possibly goes into a sleep mode after not being used for a while despite being on?
This is a great video! Thanks for the information. I definitely have the money for a dual boiler but I’m not one to waste it. I LOVE coffee and currently use a moka pot. My moms breville machine makes the best espresso I’ve had at home. I’m thinking of getting a dual boiler for my house since I now know that I definitely want espresso every morning. Do you think it’s worth it for me?
HX is the only machine where the water used for the coffee doesn't come from a boiler where it was boiled and cooled multiple times, it's fresh water heated only once, before you are making the coffee.
I really like your video and the energy you brought to it. It could have been better if there was not constant music in the background after the intro.
Hello! We recommend dual boiler coffee machines for cafe, as it can not only brew and steam simultaneously but also can cope with larger volume compared to single and heat exchanger. Hope that helps!
Really depends on the volume you're targeting. Double boiler is always the safest option, but heat exchanger can also be used for small cafes/coffee catering. Apart from that, the boiler capacity plays a crucial role as well. Hope that helps!
@@wiliamkang6678 Yeah i understand now that this is just an ad for their business and what they are selling and not a general introduction into the different types of machines on the market. btw the brands i mentioned are just some of the premium brands but lots of entry level espresso machines also use a thermoblocks. It's important to understand the difference when shopping for a espresso machine.
Don’t know much about thermoblock and the decent is NoT for me (more of a computer than an espresso machine and all them electronics won’t last long with daily usage) but I feel the Gaggia classic evo pro is waaay better that the GO. Cheaper and does really great espresso. Usually 2 lattes for me and the wife and no problems. It’s the little engine that could. That micra though is my dream machine.
One of the best, easy to understand videos that I have seen!!
Thank you for the support. Really appreciate it!

Which machine would you recommend for a beginner looking to make mostly milk drinks, making back to back 2-3 drinks twice a day?
A heat exchanger coffee machine would be perfect for you! We can recommend the Rocket Appartamento TCA, Profitec Pro 400 or ECM Mechanika Max 👍

Nice sharing
After watching the video I realized we would be paying for HX technology when a double boiler (for 1/2 the price) will offer similar results.
Kinda weird to not even mention thermoblocks as an option (e.g. Decent, Ascaso, Quick Mill).
Maybe they don’t sell those other ones or have access to thermoblock models 🤷🏻♂️
This corp is base in Malaysia and those 3 brand u mention not really well know in Malaysia
