Desi, my miracle boy is now 18 and your attitude of “it is cluttered but that is just who I am now” is the KEY to mommy mental health! I was such an organized everything has a place person and that just didn’t work with being a mom, especially a boy mom 😂 Kudos and mad respect to the moms who manage to stay that way but I had to let it go! I kept our room as my sanctuary and embraced the clutter of babyhood, then toddler toys, then sports equipment it doesn’t end 😂 EDIT: until he got a girlfriend and wanted to impress her and SHE has my organized brain set so YAY!!!!!!!!!! EDIT 2: I wish I had been able to have the smart gear like that baby monitor (oh the anxiety that would have saved!!! Worth ANY price!!) but sadly none of that was invented yet! 😂
This is great for moms/families who can afford this. If you don’t have the resources, you can wash your kid in the sink and use an olla to warm your playtex bottles. It builds character lol. With that said, it’s kinda cool to see the innovative products they have for new mom/dads. No hate ❤️ Ocean is a lucky lil tyke and Desi and Stephen are great parents wanting the best for their baybay
I have the fisher price bathtub and it does grow with the baby!! You can take the green seat out and it gives them more space! 😀 also it has a drain on the bottom to drain it out lol
I've had 5 babies! My youngest will be a teen in a couple months so it's been a while but I loved my diaper genie. I couldn't live without it back then. For the shower problem, showering with my babies was a must cause I had so many kiddos. I actually took a couple baby washclothes and I sewed them into a glove that went halfway up my arm so that I had one hand/arm that always had a good grip. And I would keep their baby bath (chair when they got older) in the shower so I could set them down while I did my part. And the cloth diapers were my favorite burp cloths. They didn't leak through. I swear I can't get enough of you all with Ocean. He's looking so grown already!
Had my baby 2-7-21 born with CDH and he still in the hospital!! Wish I could use at least half of the things I got him feel that he will outgrow everything. I’m in tears because the newborn stage is the best but I know he is alive and he is progressing which is great!!

Dr browns bottles for babies with colic, absolutely saved my life. I also didnt produce enough milk, actually none at all with any of mine. I tried for as long as possible! Those bottles were amazing
The wipe warmer (the one I had years ago for my daughter had a pad I would have to re-wet every week or so). So for anyone having trouble with the wipes drying out look to see if the pad at the bottom is dry. I’m pregnant with my second baby after 11 years sooooo I have no idea about all the new apparatuses out there now.. 😘😘❤️ also, the Magnetic onesies are great!
The arms reach co sleeper 👏🏻👏🏻 no one talks about it but it is the best thing ever! Attaches to your bed, has a side that lowers down for easy soothing/breastfeeding, detaches from bed easily so you can roll around and use anywhere, has lots of storage. We used it until my daughter was 8 months because that’s when she learned to pull up on her own. It also breaks all the way down for easy storage so you can keep it for the next baby
Just a bit of advice depending on what you like to do! My husband and I got two travel sets, one is better for indoor or flat surfaces (stores, pavement) but we also have one that has like bike tires and it is great because we like to go hiking or walking and the other stroller would definitely not handle the gravel or dirt, grass whatever else. :)
My baby is 3 months old and she is getting too big for me to safely hold her because my hands don't wrap fully around her chubby thighs and it gets mighty slippery and.... you have just changed my LIFE.

What has been amazing is a bottle rinser that we purchased off Amazon and it’s like those facets at Starbucks for quick rinsing Plus side... you can use it for wine glasses; hard to wash bottles, smoothie/protein bottles. It’s by Delta and worth every penny. Thanks for sharing your must haves.
I have the baby Bjorn and we don't have lots of money and found it quite expensive but can confirm it's worth everyyyyy penny, it's amazing definitely a must 💖
The angle bath seat is my favorite. For my son as a newborn it worked and as he got bigger he was able to sit up in it until he could sit up well enough on his own in the bath.
Skip Hop: Moby Smart Sling 3 Stage Tub. Used it since newborn and now she’s 18months and still fits and love it. The best bathtub ever. Get the whale bathtub rinser also because it cups the baby’s head with a rubber ended tip thingy makes it soo easy for you to rinse soap off Ocean’s head without getting water into his eyes. The swing and pacifier I agree.. it is subjective thing. You kindda have to try and error. I had placed my daughter in mamaroo at the shop before covid and she was unbothered and wanted out. In the end my daughter hated all swings except for the old fashion one while my son loved the Joie one a dupe like the fisher price and the Nuna Leaf. Also, my daughter loves pacifier and my sons just wouldn’t take any of it.......

The angelcare baby mesh bath support is what we used from beginning till he grew out of it around 6 months for our son and will use for our next son soon. It was great! After, we moved to mommy’s helper froggie blowup bath with the saddle support to help when they have learned to sit up, but aren’t great at it and you’re freaked out to put them fully in the bathtub.
I used the flower blossom. It’s a foam bath that worked well in the kitchen sink and grew with the baby. She was able to support herself and just chill.
On summer, I think V-Fyee mosquito net cover for stroller also is an baby essentials. It can keep bugs flyings out of your baby when you can take your baby outdoor walking. recommended!
Yes!!! Get it girl. I always recommend zipper pjs. Time and convenience. I would also recommend the footless pjs because he’ll grow them out so fast. You’ll see the growth and his feet won’t be bother him. When he starts walking his bare feet, he will touch the floor and it good for sensory.
I’m an auntie sooo an auntie helping momma here haha, my niece (6 months old) has always used the “blooming bath lotus” in the kitchen sink for bath time! though I’ve read it doesn’t work great in all sinks. Definitely an option though, and it’s adorable to see them sitting in the little flower lol
24:00 yes thank you Desi! Not a lot of moms know this, but your baby will have trouble developing fine motor skills if they wear mittens. Your baby will not hurt themselves from not wearing mittens, just trim their nails often! My girl only wears mittens at night to prevent cold hands in the morning. Hers are made by my aunt though so they are big enough for her to move her hands and grab things. She does not wear them during the day though.
You can take out the green seat in the fisher price bathtub to make more room for baby to sit. My son is 1.5 and still fits in the tub without the seat.
I do not have a baby so take anything I say with a grain of salt. But I've heard about the slippery baby thing before and they recommended putting them in a little terrycloth onesie or whatever fabric that gives them more grip when you shower with them and it works like a washcloth. 🤷🏻♀️
My favorite newborn things. ****owlette*** new moms this is a bit of a splurge but it’s a sock your baby can wear that will monitor their vitals. It sends alerts to your phone if anything is abnormal. This gave me and my partner so much peace of mind at night. 1. Snuggle me organic. We have the dockatot as well but the snuggle me is my babies favorite Bc it hugs his little body and makes it feel like he’s being hugged. 2. Def agree zipper pjs with the fold over mittens. Personally I liked to cover his little hands Bc he would scratch at his eyes. 3. Velcro swaddles! The halo sleep sack one is my absolute favorite it has a zipper and then Velcro’s around their body. You could leave arms out or in. 4. Baby breeza sterilizer!!! Game changer. 5. We love the halo swivel bassinet. 6. Boppy lounger. Which is different then the regular boppy. This one is so They can sit up better and hang out if your on the couch or what not. 6. The angel care baby bath 7. Nuna pipa lite car seat: especially for the more petite mamas it’s one of the lightest car seats. Easy to carry but also very safe as it has a “leg” that goes to the floor or your car for extra support. I’ve read such great safety qualities on it and it’s super comfy for my baby. It is compatible with other stroller but we went with the nuna demi grow. A tip would be to get one car seat with two bases. One base for each parents car.

I had to pause this vid and say, the FP cradle swing is OG and my baby is currently in his right now, out cold! It’s the best for baby, for mama, for budget. It takes up some room but beyond worth it!

Check out the 4moms tub! It grows with them and has a temp gauge so you know your bath isn't too cold or too hot. It also constantly replaces the water so if your baby is like mine and likes to pee or poop in the tub it drains the dirty water and replaces with clean!

The Skip Hop baby bath tub has an insert for infant and then it can be removed, it's more of a reclined bather but it does grow with them up to 35 lbs i think!

We used the Angelcare Baby Bath Support from 2 weeks old until she was able to sit up in the tub by herself. We loved it! Super affordable too.

My girl only wears mittens at night to prevent cold hands in the morning. Hers are made by my aunt though so they are big enough for her to move her hands and grab things. She does not wear them during the day though.

You can take out the green seat in the fisher price bathtub to make more room for baby to sit. My son is 1.5 and still fits in the tub without the seat.

I do not have a baby so take anything I say with a grain of salt. But I've heard about the slippery baby thing before and they recommended putting them in a little terrycloth onesie or whatever fabric that gives them more grip when you shower with them and it works like a washcloth. 🤷🏻♀️
My favorite newborn things.
****owlette*** new moms this is a bit of a splurge but it’s a sock your baby can wear that will monitor their vitals. It sends alerts to your phone if anything is abnormal. This gave me and my partner so much peace of mind at night.
1. Snuggle me organic. We have the dockatot as well but the snuggle me is my babies favorite Bc it hugs his little body and makes it feel like he’s being hugged.
2. Def agree zipper pjs with the fold over mittens. Personally I liked to cover his little hands Bc he would scratch at his eyes.
3. Velcro swaddles! The halo sleep sack one is my absolute favorite it has a zipper and then Velcro’s around their body. You could leave arms out or in.
4. Baby breeza sterilizer!!! Game changer.
5. We love the halo swivel bassinet.
6. Boppy lounger. Which is different then the regular boppy. This one is so They can sit up better and hang out if your on the couch or what not.

7. Nuna pipa lite car seat: especially for the more petite mamas it’s one of the lightest car seats. Easy to carry but also very safe as it has a “leg” that goes to the floor or your car for extra support. I’ve read such great safety qualities on it and it’s super comfy for my baby. It is compatible with other stroller but we went with the nuna demi grow. A tip would be to get one car seat with two bases. One base for each parents car.
The shnuggle bath works well from newborn till 12 months (it is a patented seated bathtub), the parts inside the Dr Browns bottles are the anti colic vents that prevent air bubbles and gas, the sizes for the bottles are referred to as 'teats' , they come from preemie to level 4 depending on the age of baby or thickness of formula

Bathtub for babies, Stoke flexi bath, I love it! I needed one that was small and foldable and it does the job, I feel she is very happy there, is small but big enough for her to play. They also have a bigger version. Love from Spain 🇪🇸

I had to pause this vid and say, the FP cradle swing is OG and my baby is currently in his right now, out cold! It’s the best for baby, for mama, for budget. It takes up some room but beyond worth it!
Also mine is a hand me down, take hand me downs! Save the coin, especially for items they grow out fast, whenever possible
I know everyone swears by the mamaroo and I feel like the FP swing is WAY better! Babies love it way more.

Check out the 4moms tub! It grows with them and has a temp gauge so you know your bath isn't too cold or too hot. It also constantly replaces the water so if your baby is like mine and likes to pee or poop in the tub it drains the dirty water and replaces with clean!
Being a Mom is a CRAZY life. I love how she is putting it out there for those who think is a easy job and Mom's are just to dramatic. Single Mom's is even harder.

The Skip Hop baby bath tub has an insert for infant and then it can be removed, it's more of a reclined bather but it does grow with them up to 35 lbs i think!

Angelcare tub, used it from newborn, and my 3 1/2 year old still likes it, especially for washing his hair.
