This is by FAR the best instruction on how to program the remote! More than that it was the Only one that was correct! Even Ford was wrong! THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!
You know videos like this keep the world running. I followed the instructions from Lincoln and it simply didn’t work. Watched this quick direct to the point video and had it done in 30 seconds. Thank you!
THANK YOU! Our manual was also wrong for our Aviator lol! We came across your video and it worked the first try!!! Saved us so much frustration h🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
Finally! Thank you for a complete, step by step on how to do this. The manual said nothing about clearing codes and how to do it. Very critical! Thanks again!
THANK YOU! So frustrating that the garage door and homelink manuals are incorrect....not to mention so many youtubers. This video is newer than most on youtube, maybe something has changed but this worked on my Infiniti QX80. AWESOME!
What an excellent tutorial. Ford couldn't even get the photo of the Homelink in my car correct, much less the instructions for programming the unit. THANKS VERY MUCH!
Thank you so much!!! Your video was the only one that gave clear clarification also to clear the codes (huge thing to mention holding those two buttons down) and we had this done within minutes:)
Thank you! Nice simple instructions. I was confused by the manual and several attempts, and this tutorial quickly cleared the confusion from my mind and got my 2017 Jeep Cherokee happily chatting with my new Genie garage door opener via HomeLink.
I have a 2023 Ford Escape ST Line and cannot find the or see any program buttons on visit or anywhere for that matter. And I just can’t imagine a New model not having this. I even tried looking in my manuals and found nothing under garage programming. Can ANYONE that may be able to tell where they would be located advise please?
That’s all well and good but will your original opener that came with the garage door still work because I can’t get one to work without erasing the code from the other car
@@bradysgaragedoors lucky you I tried for over an hour to program two Lincolns and when I program the second one it erases the first one I’m wondering if the system is too old and is a fixed code system, I have to take the remote apart to look. Thanks 😊
Don't do the first step (1 and 3 button) if you already have buttons currently programmed to other garage doors. If you do then you are resetting/clearing all the buttons.

Thank you. You are amazing. No one including the digital latest owners manual could explain this and make it work like you just did! Amazing.
What an excellent tutorial. Ford couldn't even get the photo of the Homelink in my car correct, much less the instructions for programming the unit. THANKS VERY MUCH!
You Rock! I could never get my Bronco to pair and it finally worked ! Ford doesn’t tell you the last step! Thanks for curing my frustration !
Great job! I actually forgot my garage door opener had the program function (same as yours). Thank you.
The best instructions I’ve seen…Ford directions are unclear and ambiguous…yours are perfect 👍
Thanks for the feedback!
I agree with what other people have written. These are the best instructions so far. Thank you so much.
Your tutorial was the only one I watched that said how to do this correctly

This was the only one that worked for my mustang! Thanks ❤️❤️❤️🙏🙏
Thank YOU! I tried and tried - i did not understand that this is a two step process until I saw your video. ;) All three buttons are programmed now.

Is there a way to do this without the original garage door remote? My wife and I can’t find either of ours at the moment.
Unfortunately I don’t believe you can do it without the remote.
How do you change the battery???

What if you don’t have a remote? I need that video.
What if i dont have a garage door opener thats already programmed?
Long time no see!❤
Are you going to program the other two buttons to the homelink
Yes, I did after the video.
What if you don't have an opener? We lost ours in car accident.
Thank you for your help! 1 less thing my wife can bitch at me about!!
Thankyouu

Nice. Thank you. Manual instructions were worthless
