Been meaning to say this for a long time. Thank you Lisa for your generosity in sharing these videos on TH-cam. You’ve given me lots of ideas and I’m still not through all the videos yet. Lol
Thank you for your kind and encouraging words, this is why I love to share, so you can get inspired and enjoy this wonderful craft!
Love them. I make and turn into plant stakes.
Love these!! I need some clear dichro...really beginning to ❤ the dichro
really fun! going to try these and put them on planter stakes..
So cute! What if you placed the body on top of the wings...tack fused...would you need to overlap with dicro?
Love some Lisa!!!
These are simply stunning and I love the trick of putting the dichro over the body to make them more solid. I'm wondering how one would best hang them? Thanks!
You could probably use some handy hangers between the dicroic body and clear body pieces to hang them! I am thinking of putting them on a copper pipe like I did with the mushroom flowers and put them in the garden :)
PRETTY
Amazing! How would they have turned out if you would have put the body on top of the piece instead of under them? Also I thought that dichroic was supposed to always be down not up? The dichroic was still so beautiful facing up? Thank you for sharing.
Can you do a walk through two things I find confusing.
1. FIRE POLISH…. firing schedule, where the shelves gets located in the kiln (bottom, middle, top). Can the fire polish be used for anything else?
2. BUBBLE SQUEEZE…. firing schedule? location in the kiln? does the piece need to be in a mold or form?
If there is anything else you think that we should know, please pass it on.
These are wonderful topics, Thank you for your input I will be sure to cover them!
I missed what kind of paper and why...reusable pattern??
I printed the design from the computer, cut it out and glued it on the glass as my stencil. Reusing the same paper pieces can save time and paper as you don't have to print and cut out three designs. I hope this helps!
SO PETTY> Maybe I will get enough scrap dicro in about ten years. LOL
