@@ORIGINOLINDIVIDUAL Well his recently departed promoter Kalle Sauerland could've helped considering he's now apart of the promotion for the Riyadh season Wembley event.
@@ORIGINOLINDIVIDUAL - what are you getting so touchy about. sauerland would have made money as well - it’s all business so get own with it mate. Look at warren and Hearn.
This is what happens when you grow up with a millionaire as a father that spoils you. Eubank Jr has tarnished the Eubank name. He's associated with showing off his wealth that his last name brought him and mediocrity.
Hes driving round in a lambo, pots of money, designer clothes, fancy wonan.......and your sitting in an Ikea chair guving him advice on social media. 😂 The irony.
Spot on!!! He should be calling for Canelo. Some will say hes not at that level but hes decent, hes tough and he'll put up more of a fight than Charlo and some others Canelo has fought plus it would be Huge in the UK.. Imagine Canelo Eubank Jr at Wembley. Its a damn shame hes disappeared
Why would canelo fight Eubank? There's zero pros to fighting Eubank, literally none. He isn't really known outside the UK, he's not a world class opponent, beating him doesn't off anything more than canelo has already got
He doesn’t fancy hard fights against young bucks like Hamzah Sheeraz. Turned down a huge Saudi payday to co-main Wembley. Too busy pissing it all away playing poker with Neymar, Dan Bilzeren & Ryan Garcia. Only active boxer who lives in Vegas full time for partying not training.
To be fair for his limited ability he has done alright for himself, ofcourse he has had a massive helping hand being his father's son. He has still earned himself some decent money for someone who is not a genuine world class fighter.
@@Metso-ateco I’m not sure, I’ve seen him driving around in a McLaren and I’m driving around in a 17 year old Honda after 47 years of working lol, so I’m guessing he’s doing ok 👍
Boxing is not a sport you play for fun. Its really the hurt business. Eubanks has done brilliantly. I remember him saying before the Smith rematch, that even if he doesnt box again hes made enough money to never have to work again
he doesn’t need a promoter, he was offered the Hamza fight and turned it down. He could have even made a deal to fight an average fighter at Wembley and then Hamza in December Riyadh season and double payday…. But he wouldn’t & Liam Smith took his place and Smith gets on 2 Riyadh season events.
I don't think chris gives a fuck really. Guys just living life , boxing for him and for any ex pros sons will never mean the same thing to them as it did for their fathers. It's the nature of it
Yup. If he gets out with his facilities intact, money in the bank and properties on the side he's done well. Fair play to him. These armchair fans only want to see him get beat, they've no interest in seeing him fight for a world title.
In my humble opinion he could have picked up a vacant title from somewhere if he stayed active, he was all about the money though. I don't know if i can even blame him to be honest, he's made more money than most world champions but has never been world champion and he can still string a sentence together. Korobov was 100% going to school him
It's quite obvious that Eubank Jr wanted a big reward with a low risk like Kell Brook coming out of retirement or blown up Conor Benn... He's not keen on a young lion like Hamza but just take the fight, Saudies would pay him well.
Eubank Jr became the WBO mandatory and turned the fight against Janibek down for the WBO/IBF world titles. With Conor Benn's PED situation, Hamzah Sheeraz is the biggest fight out there for him but he turned that down as well. What is he doing?
It's a dam shame as he finally got his boxing at a good level in the last fight, the Roy Jones bit had him not there yet, the the 2nd Smith fight had him sorted
Eubank Jnr is a nearly man, which is better than most of us will ever achieve, but for someone who thinks he's top dog, it's a huge underachievement. I'd say he's pretty done now.
I would be inclined to say laziness. They earn so much from the fights they’ve had that they don’t feel the urgency to stay active and strive for more.
He doesn’t care about belts. He fights whenever he wants against whosoever he wants always for multi millions on PPV + he drives around Brighton in a back to the future car! I think he’s doing alright mate 👍🏾
You know what’s crazy about this video? You just reminded me about the Parker v Chisora 1 card. I had LITERALLY forgot this card ever existed It had johnny fisher on there, chris eubank, campbel hatton, willy hutchinson, craig richards and Dimitri BIVOL ! Man that was a decent little night wasnt it?
I remember when everyone said if jr wasnt with his dad he would have a good career. It turns out little chris is more deluded than hos father. He thinks hes worth way more than he is. The only fight eubank has left now is connor benn when hes off his ban
He strikes me as one of those who 'bet on himself ' by leaving an established promoter expecting a bidding war, only to discover his true value differed from his own inflated sense of what he was worth.
I said weeks ago when this card was announced Why isnt it a Smith Eubank rubber match ????? What else is Eubank doing that is so great ? Done nothing since September. Thats almost a YEAR away ffs! If hes got that kind of mentality now and hes happy playing poker and partying in vegas then just retire...
I'm not so sure , if it was about money or titles he would have fought more but he choose not to which seems like the choice anyone should make opposed being forced to take fights threw needing money , he's wealthy seems happy and whenever he wants to fight he can make it happen, if and when he chooses , our expectations of how a career should be mapped is irelivent, aswith our perception of how to define a successful career for an individual

I don't think he was ever elite of the elite, but there's plenty of lesser fighters won World titles. I think his best fight was DeGale, of course he was off his prime, but he didn't freeze like he had before, with top fighters. I just think, he doesn't care and he's probably enjoying life and lives under the radar now. Maybe his brother dying has a terrible affect on him, who knows.
The fact Eubank Jnr never seems to push to get in the mix with world titles or the Saudi money at the moment tells me all I need to know about his ambitions. He's just a celebrity boxer who looks for smaller, older or past it guys preferably at catchweights to make money off. Dangle a world title fight or a Hamzah Shiraz fight in front of him and he turns them down in favour of an easier touch coming up in weight.
@@SphericallyChallengedfor boxing purists it's not what you want from a fighter but it is smart granted. The guys that put it on the line like Jnr's dad and his rival Nigel Benn are the ones who are remembered though not the Jnr's who take the easy road.depends what you want out of boxing.

Not sure I agree with this take. He's obviously coming to the end of his career and is just out for the money fights, its a bit frustrating as a fan to see him (I guess) price himself out of good fights, but if thats how he wants to do his career then I dont think he's fucked it up. True he had to rebuild with the Mark Morrisons and so on but he got paid. He basically put ITV out of boxing with his purses, fair play
I think he's been seriously affected by the death of his brother, probably more than people realise or take into account
Great comment. So many of these so-called fans forget that these fighters are not machines and have lives outside boxing.

The circumstances surrounding his death are very sketchy
I've been saying it for ages. He's been nowhere near as spiteful since his death. He's softened a lot.
