Eubank was a great warrior, people mock him for the way he speaks, his diction and wordplay, people say he is pretentious and aloof, but at the heart of it, he is actually full of wisdom, good intention and experience, you wont ever see anyone like Chris Eubank sr in the ring, he was one of a kind

It’s obvious you don’t understand the sport. He beat a domestic level Michael Watson & an inexperienced Nigel benn who gassed himself out for a “world title” nobody decent wanted. He went on a run fighting absolute nobodies after that (& was very lucky to get decisions in a few of those). He avoided the true greats of the division like James Toney , Roy jones , Michael nunn & Bernard Hopkins because he knew he’d get his ass handed to him & lose his golden egg the Micky mouse belt & his precious 0.

Eubank was often booed at his fights, basically because he could be very boring , spending too much time posing as opposed to fighting, not enough action. A lot of so-called boxing fans are saying how great Eubank was, they obviously weren't around when he actually was competing.

Chris Eubank is a legend. Such a nice guy. I love his eccentricity. The man likes what he likes, is who he is. Only someone who isn't comfortable in their own skin would hate a guy like Chris Eubank. He was a badass boxer in his day and a true entertainer in the sport. Loved the lights and the camera.
My dad used to film boxing as a cameraman in the 90s/2000s. He met people like Tyson, Prince Naseem, Barry McGuigan and many more. Eubank was always his favourite man to film because he loved getting up in the camera before the fight, and was just a really nice guy besides that. Some fighters, like Tyson in his day, had a reputation for bullying/pushing around the gaffers and camera teams before the fight began, to pysche himself up I guess. Chris was nothing but talkative, friendly, and excited before a fight.
When I was little we lived in Brighton, and Chris Eubank used to drive around in his enormous lorry along the beachfront, this was also around the same time my mother saved Barry McGuigan's young boys during a boxing match when a big brawl broke out near the ring. My mum got Barry's boys out of the way, and he was very grateful, and even gave me a signed tiny little baby-sized pair of boxing gloves with the george cross on it lol.

Alot of the old boxers were fighting for survival, because its all they knew to get out of their crap circumstances.
