Eubank snr is a NARCISSIST, he is MENTALLY ILL, it is his SON who you should have sympathy for.
Not everyone would agree with you on Snr being "honourable". He was prosecuted for driving without due care & attention...ploughing into a 33 yr old & killing him, has been later filmed running a red light, prosecuted for taking a vehicle without consent whilst threatening the driver & of course, he also forgot to pay his taxes, just the paltry sum of £1.3m in 2009 so declared bankruptcy. I'm sure he's more honourable nowadays though.

Snr really was one of our great champions. As tough as you can get, fast and explosive in his prime and very strong and powerful. We should never forget what an incredible warrior he was as today this generation are more aware of the caricature of Snr rather than the formidable fighting man he once was.
He did also admit deciding not to fight the big boys in America at the time from fear of being savaged. Jones and Toney..

Honestly this was the best hour of white and Jordan I’ve heard for a long time. Simon tried to make it about him at every opportunity but Eubank just locked him off. I think I counted 3 maybe 4 short breaks and he still didn’t listen to the warnings he probably got within those breaks 😂 living legend!!

CHRIS EUBANK was my fav British boxer when in my youth, alongside Prince Naseem, but Chris was my no1 fav. He had such unique style about him for those days. He also came to my secondary school around 30 yrs ago and gave motivational speech for the students

A great interview, need to watch the whole hour. Just a dad who wants best for his kid and that is that. No ego, but unfortunately his kid knows best. Put Jordan in his place throughout this and even he changed his opinion. But could hear the sadness of a dad who's kid just pushed him aside once he got what he wanted

Well Chris Jnr did more than beat Liam, Chris Eubank Jnr vs Liam Smith 2 was a one sided show. That's how you know the father was spitting facts. Chris Jnr. wasn't focused in the first fight. This second fight he showed us he's a world class complete fighter. He's way higher in quality levels than Liam Smith.

I think it's very true about the statement Eubanks made about Benn, if you have a large team around you, promoters, trainers, nutritionists, media types, hanger-ons it's very easy to accept what's said to you and I imagine difficult to know if everyone in your camp has the best intentions...if part of your diet contains something that's banned are you to know ?
Every time Eubank was about to open up emotionally and say something interesting he was cut off and stopped in his tracks with something else.
Listened to the whole interview live. It didn't sit well with me the way both Simon and Jim spoke to Chris.

Eubank is an OG and an incredible role model in the world of boxing. His passion and the way he talks about the sport is everything you need to know about the difference between that calibre of boxing and the modern boxing of today.

When you try an d control your children like this, you destroy the relationship and nothing they do is ever good enough. You can only protect your child from life to a certain point, then they need to learn their own life lessons to become successful as their own individual person / free soul. For this reason Sr. will always see his son a failure and is blinded by his own judgments of whats right and wrong.

Tbh none of it is new but glad someone said it. You get these hints all the time in interviews with his trainers/ronnie with the he doesn't listen but usually painted in a positive spin
No it’s a failed father son relationship that has led him to not listening to you. You were too harsh, too demanding and too opposed to understanding he’s not you and doesn’t want to be you. He could have better people around him and he could have worse namely you who he tunes out because he’s heard all he wants to about being criticized or how he’s not you. He knows he’s not you and he doesn’t want to be you. I’m shocked he hasn’t decided to change his dam name in all honesty. No one wants an overbearing father who lives a second life through them, and they definitely don’t want that after they’ve made it to adulthood. Chris may be the reason he is who he is but head also the reason he doesn’t want to be who sr is too. He’s broken the man at this point and it’s a miracle he hasn’t just hung up the gloves at this point. He’s probably just fighting out of spite at this point. Floyd Senior pushed Floyd Jr to the brink too. He had to get him out of his life for quite awhile and when he did Sr learned how to treat his son as a man finally, he didn’t double down on being the authoritarian dad who had nothing but criticism for his son. You can tell Chris Sr has never told his son he was proud of him or given the man much praise ever due to the animosity and the way he talks about his son. Sad sad stuff because both could’ve been better together than apart if there was a modicum or respect and positive support.

I loved Eubank back in the day. Those fights with Benn were fantastic. Junior is no where near as good but he will beat Smith in the rematch easily.
Sr’s mental health is at crisis point. I met him recently and he is not well. I wish him well but he needs to be helped and possibly contained.

Mr Chris Eubank definately is right that Fathers want to protect their son(s) as the world can be full of 'parasites' but their are good people. And Mr Eubank makes an excellent point.
He could have been a great fighter but the facts are he’s had 30 odd fights and never been close to winning a title looking at that way it’s a poor career it’s the equivalent of Jesse lingard at us he had the best tools amazing teammates complete waste of time for the little amount he won at united wasn’t worth the hype and wasn’t worth winning mise well of not even been there same with eubank jnr not 1 belt he should be ashamed of himself for allowing his career to end up so poor least the pair of them have got money though
