I have loved Inara George as a solo artist and as half of The Bird and The Bee for a decade. They were a HUGE influence on our sound - Greg’s production, Inara’s melodies...I think I listen to their music more than any other band. Probably shouldn’t fangirl this hard, but this was a dream come true. And I can’t BELIEVE that I get to sing at her SHOW next week! For tickets to that: bit.ly/2IDqunl It’s at Largo (in L.A.) and all the songs were written by Inara and Larry Goldings. (And yes I’m definitely afraid that I’ll botch my song and sound like a broken flute. Thanks, brain! Time to go meditate. And then practice. Let’s all remember to be kind to ourselves today.)
Oh my god I love The Bird and The Bee. When I saw Inara's name in the title I was shocked but she fits so well with the Pomplamoose sound. What an awesome collab. I'm hoping for more.
Hypnotic. A simple tune, but played so smoothly by Pomplamoose that it actually calms me. Great keys, bass, guitar - and funky but understated drums. I’ve also always been a fan of the female voice, and Inara and Nataly just knock this into space. I CAN’T GET IT OUTTA MY HEAD. ❤️❤️❤️
Nataly and the other bassist that you use are wonderful and I learn from them every time I see them. But, Nick Campbell is back, and I feel like all is right with the world. The tone, the groove, hell, even that bass he's playing... I have a definite bass crush on him...
Ear candy. This actually lowers my blood pressure. 😎 Superior vocal blend - Inara & Nataly are perfect together. I’d never heard Inara before; her voice is so soft and soothing. Thank you, Nataly and Jack, for broadening my musical horizons - and for giving me inspiration for late-night drumming and strumming. 😎🥁🎸
To anyone watching this video today and browsing through these comments, remember you are beautiful. 😊 Have a wonderful day. Thanks, Pomlamose, and Inara George for the awesome video.
NO WAY. Inara from The bird and the bee? Holy shit they were my jam back in the day before I got too busy to keep updated with music. Wtf. I ... i need a moment. This collab is fantastic.
I Come Here For The Groovy Tunes...and I Stay For The Friends Pomplamoose introduces to me and then I go see what's on their playlist menu too.....Thank You Pomplamoose for ALWAYS sharing Your Treasures with ALL OF US.....Cheers From Ohio
MORE PLEASEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Inara has a stunning voice, and it intertwines beautifully with Nat's. What a coup! Really we need more of Inara!
Worlds collide... I first heard The Bird and the Bee in a restaurant in Portland and that led me down a new musical path that resulted in me discovering Pomplamoose!
This is PERFECT except for one little thing: I enjoy seeing Nataly's mouth as she sings, and that pop filter obscures our view for almost the entire vid. OK, I'm being picky. So I'll balance it: Another appreciation for Ben and Caleb for the sweet production, and Tim and Caleb for the excellent audio. And to Jack, Nataly, and the entire band for amazing performances! I love you Pomplamoose!
I actually agree with this. We got WAY more angles in the session after this one. Truth be told, I recorded most of my vocals from home, and I don't usually film those...
This is such a beautiful arrangement. I fall in love with the entire ensemble every time I listen to this cut. Your guys' beauty as people and performances cloak the profound chops you have underneath it all that makes everything feel effortless, natural and beautiful. I hope this never ends with you guys in every direction it goes. The smile at the end on Inara's face could make a Buddha giggle. Thank you for the music!
Damn..that's album worthy! Love when guests drop by, and join in w/you guys ;) but this one was extra special, every instrument was on point..as usual, and that was really nice.
PLEASE YALL REALLY NEED TO PUSH THIS SONG FOR RADIO PLAY, IT WILL BE A TOP HIT I GUARANTEE, Back in the day i pushed men at work at look they ended up doing.
No. It is ok. There is very little here that is new to make it their own song. Sorry. They do it very straight up but they aren't Khalid and Mayer. Solid cover.
So so so worth having this song in my head for the rest of the day. I already know that from previous songs from just some of these artists. Now there's more. Thank you
This song and production is absolutely stellar!!! Listen with headphones and you’ll be blown away!! I play my v-drums to this all the time! Love Inara’s vocal along with Nat’s! You guys!!!! 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
! This version is very good¡. We love it 💞💞💞💞💞. We sincerely believe, that although the original version is very good, this version is better than the original. Congratulations😊
Daughter of wonderful and tremendously talented force behind my favorite band, Little Feat. Lowell is missed but here is the living embodiment of that dad.

I love the reaction in the room when they slip into the bridge - pretty sweet mixing happening there.
Intoxicating. Mesmerizing.
Jack's always having a party. I love it! Lol
NO WAY. Inara from The bird and the bee? Holy shit they were my jam back in the day before I got too busy to keep updated with music. Wtf. I ... i need a moment. This collab is fantastic.
An amazing arrangement! THE TONE ON THAT BASS! And the lead vocals (Chef's Kiss)! What a lush recording.
Oh em gee Nataly FEIST?!? I am obsessed with Leslie’s (Lesley’s?) voice and Feist! So excited for you to be there and so bummed to miss this!
I KNOW, right? I'm pinching myself.
What a dream to get to perform with Inara. I can't believe I missed this last year, I would have loved to see you both live!
Holy shet Batman.
That was the most fantastic groove.

WHOAAAAAAAA....... eargasm indeed......
Damn the mix is super good
Love that funky bass
simply amazing!
I really hope Khalid or John Mayer see this. Even though it's a cover, I think I like it’s better than the original.
Agreed. Usually pretty difficult to do, but they nailed it
No. It is ok. There is very little here that is new to make it their own song. Sorry. They do it very straight up but they aren't Khalid and Mayer. Solid cover.
EN Blanchard I don’t really care if it’s a “new song” because it’s supposed to be a cover
Daftman 65 I meant that their take, not the song . I just don’t think it’s better than the original, that’s all.
EN Blanchard okay cool but I don’t really care so not too sure why you thought sharing you opinion was a good thing lmfao
Just discovered this song today. Wow!
congrats guys lots of hard work paying off clearly !!! goodluck on the show next week xo
LOVE the groove of this
The Bird and The Bee and Pomplamoose! Worlds colliding! Love it!

So so so worth having this song in my head for the rest of the day. I already know that from previous songs from just some of these artists. Now there's more. Thank you

Dreamy and delicate! Thats what this song was to me, with a topping a smooth bass!
It's so great to hear this beautiful music and at the same time see these happy music makers. Well that's Pomplamoose. 🎼🥁🎸🎻🎹
Just when I had almost given up on new great music heard spamplamoose
"Will you dance
Will you... move this way?"
Can definitely hear the similarities between Pomplamoose and The Bird and the Bee.
! This version is very good¡. We love it 💞💞💞💞💞. We sincerely believe, that although the original version is very good, this version is better than the original. Congratulations😊
Inara's voice has always managed to take me to places I can barely begin to understand. And I love every breath of it.
