I have mixed feelings about this (I live in Cicero, next door). It's good, as long as they have waste and waste water disposal worked out. But if they end up polluting ground water that we've kept pretty clean up til now, messing up pristine agricultural land, they chose a really crappy place to put this.

If the local governments hold them accountable they will be. Atleast clean rooms are inherently rigourous and detailed operations. This is is great for the whole world.

They should have made it in Austin TX. The place they were looking at doesn't have many people around. They are def going to posion the water supply. Sorry bud.

@@tnnsboy18 not a bud. What annoys me is that this was prime agricultural land. And Syracuse has PLENTY of empty industrial spaces

They just came to our metro plant a few days ago to talk about their plans for their waste water lines

You would be wise to get some PRVB before 11/17. You're welcome. Mic drop.

I'm sure NY needs more jobs... However there are other areas of the country that are desperate for jobs as well... Congrats to NY.

90% of the jobs are going to be taken by people that are commuting or moving here, not so much helping/benefiting the locals. If anything it’s adding traffic to a quiet town that’s not needed

Yes, people in New York need jobs but are people willing to train for jobs in that particular skill? Is the New York government going to provide training for these particular jobs?

Okay so you got a chip factory coming to Northern New York that's going to use up all our fresher water and release the wastewater downstream to pollute the rest of New York. Number two. You have a lithium mind that's going to use millions and millions of gallon of order a day in Nevada that water's going to come from underground. The freshest water possible? What do you plan to do with that? Wastewater contaminate the environment on the west coast. It's bad enough people on the west coast have no water. But then you have this lithium mind that's going to use a lot of water. Don't you understand America? It's all about our water. They don't care about you. They don't care about your environment. It's all about the money. It's all about the money.

So. Basically you're gonna kick those people out of their homes Not Even give them face value for it just a low number. Cause you're using that little law that's made for interstates etc
We have a micron company in Boise it's shut down. All those homes generations of farms their livelihood is being taken from them. What a waste of taxpayers dollars.

Ngl, that was a massive mistake on Micron's part. LOL, they should have built it in Austin.
