    As noted, it's a real time saver when painting multiple rooms when there just are few colour changes. I often have jobs to paint an entire house just before it goes on the resale market. These are typically painted throughout with a neutral colour like a "builder's tan" with white ceilings. Can roll a four bedroom house in two days. Also, awesome for rooms with high ceilings (16 ft.) or high stair wells where it becomes almost impossible to handle a roller on a 12 foot pole to get it back to a paint tray for reloading. The Wagner "Paint Stick" works on the same principle and uses the same roller covers and it's a good alternative when painting just one or two bedrooms. My only complaint is that the rubber seals at the manifold & cover assembly wear out and start to leak after about 16 hours of use and have to be replaced. Retailers don't carry a seal kit, so I had to order a quantity of each of the seals directly from the manufacturer's parts department which can take a few weeks to receive.

    Can you shorten the hose line and add a whip hose to make the line more flexible and easier to drag around furniture work, as often I’m in a room with furniture wrapped and dropped off,
    I find the line hard work pulling it and dragging it around?

    • @TitanSpeeflo
      @TitanSpeeflo  ปีที่แล้ว

      Spoke with our Tech Service Team and then confirmed that yes, you could shorten the hose line and add a whip hose when using the Inner-Feed Roller.

    How do you do your cut ins and use the roller and still work efficiently? I want to be able to roll several rooms and save time with the roller. But if I hsve to cut in and roll while it's still wet ... that's not really going to work

  • @hopkinshome3799

    I have tried this paint fed roller and think that rolling with an 18” roller or spraying and back rolling is better. The thing is heavy to begin with and then when it’s loaded with paint it becomes way more effort.

    • @duartepaintinghandymanservices
      @duartepaintinghandymanservices 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      So spraying and back rolling may be easier but now you have cover everything up because now you'll be dealing with overspray and if you're alone now you have to spray and back roll all by yourself which will take longer, with those roller you only need one person and no overspray, just drag a drop cloth and keep going 🤷🏽‍♂️

    Two bedrooms you think sprayer set up and clean up is faster than a tray and liner? Toss the nap at the end of the job. Im sure the pressure naps cost alot more to just toss away

    I have a question. On a new construction is it better to spray or spray roll (primer). What about regular paint , spray or paint roll ?

    • @duartepaintinghandymanservices
      @duartepaintinghandymanservices 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You can do either, but I find that spraying and backrolling tend to leave a better finish at the end, the prime coat will always raise the drywall paper so it'll need to be lightly sanded before top coat

      Wagner and Graco use the same roller. It's a 9 inch width and available in two naps, (3/8" & 3/4"), the thicker for masonry and rough surfaces.

    • @andrewk8636
      @andrewk8636 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      I'm using one and I only press the trigger intermittently to throw some paint on the wall.ess than 1 second per vertices stroke so I would think you can run multiple with no problem

    • @duartepaintinghandymanservices
      @duartepaintinghandymanservices 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      You can probably run 2 of them however the 440 doesn't come with a double hose manifold so you would need to either add one some how or get a machine that does

    A friend puts his rollers in a zip lock bag and reuses them if he does not finish with a particular paint color. He does not clean up of rollers...reuse or trash.

    • @chrisgraham2904
      @chrisgraham2904 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Whether your using a $3 or $10 roller cover, Is it worth your time and effort to clean it? I sometimes clean them to recycle them but would never use a used roller on a customer's job. I only reuse old rollers for deck and fence staining.

      Yep and it's like a wrestling match the whole time to get the right feed flow and rythem. I bought it for a few large ceiling jobs and ended up using my 18" setup.
      I may try it for walls on the current job I'm on. Have a feeling it may be ok on the walls.
