7:09 I teach baristas as a living, and if your wrist hurts, it's because you are stamping the wrong way. From the looks of the timestamp you hand is a bit to far down. You should hold it like a bicycle handle, but your thumb should point down towards the stamp without touching the metal part. So like giving thumbs down with the stamp handle in your hand. The way your thumb form an L in the clip, will actually strain your wrist. Make sure your shoulder aswell is aligned with your other. So your right shoulder shouldn't be higher up than the left. It's quite normal that your shoulder will rise to your chin, but make sure it doesn't. That will also strain both shoulder and wrist. And your arm should form a 90 degrees angle with the elbow. I used to be a barista and let me tell you, it just happens lol, in the café there’s soooo much going on, you just can’t remember everything, most of the time the customers are really understanding about it too, at least at the café I used to worked at, hope the customer you were supposed to deliver to was decent, the indecent ones aren’t fun 😅 - stay safe 🦋!
