Cheeky little Christmas present, thanks man. im sure facebook will make this all a little easier one day, would have made since to just have an app that lets you stream straight to facebook gaming to increase sales around this season but they all get paid to much to think logically lol.
No prob! I think the stand alone quest 2 games can share/stream directly to facebook. No Overlays yet unless you have a new gen Iphone. Than you cast to your oculus app and use the Iphone to vid yourself and remove the background.
how do u capture in obs the oculus launcher games? not using steam vr. but launching games with air link and oculus launcher? openvr and openxr are for steam vr thats not what im using...
What are your settings in OBS? I know how to setup my stream but when I stream VR and not just reg PC, my VR will have that laggy ghosting effect in the headset. Thanks!
I fought through these issues for the sake of the content but since then I have ran with a dual PC setup. I use 10,000 bitrate for streams. Nvec encoder at 1080p 60fps. I set my oculus to .9 out of the 1.0 on graphic settings to attempt as a buffer for when I was streaming. I still had that airlink jank issue. Once I moved to a dual PC setup I have not suffered from any latency or issues while streaming.

turn down the bitrate, make sure its set to hvec codec if you have an nvidia graphics card, turn the resolution down on your oculus PC app under devices/quest2 or 3, and lower the settings on your game if possible. I eventually bought a 2nd pc and went with a dual PC setup after a while
Thank you so much for responding but i think im going to have to start streaming on my Chromebook while casting my Oculus on it. Im not really sure how to cast my Oculus screen onto my Chromebook, but i might have an idea on how to do it.@@TacticalVRGaming
whatever you see on your pc you can pin into vr to have it in the game. The pin feature works well. I only pin my obs and chat so i can control my obs scenes and interact with the viewers
@@TacticalVRGaming just streamed some pavlov vr, ur advice for pinning def helped. earned a sub for that; SOBS has an openvr capture that worked really well for me. hopefully since pavlov isnt so saturated there might be a chance for me to gain a following; considering having 2 viewers puts you in the top 5

Question, if you do not have a mic like yours, what would you do?
use the internal Oculus Quest 2 Mic. You can enable it in the Oculus Virtual Desktop and in OBS set it as the Virtual Oculus Headset Mic

You are getting choppy or buggy results you might want to drop the resolution, bit rate, or frame rate it might be too much for your system to handle

Nothing major, I still use this method but I have a dual PC set up now so I have to use remote apps to change scenes in the headset
