Can the Polar 2 be used for reamping while being able to listen with the headphones? I could not tell from the video if the 1/4" TRS outputs on the back are linked to the same DAC channels as the headphones or not. Thanks if you can answer this because Audient has a competitive product and theyve provided an instructional how-to video. Surely if the Polar 2 was "designed by guitarists" then surely they didnt forget this critical feature...
Does this thing allow you to record vocals or pianos normally? I can only see line and guitar/instrument switches, but there is phantom power so not sure how it goes with recording mic sources other than guitar.
Most guitar amps have a 1MOhm input. Why does this interface use 500K instead, according to the manual? ALso why would we need Enhance, when e.g VST plugins emulate the input stage of a tube amplifier. Wouldn't that be amp input on top of another? Similarly, there is never a need to turn up the gain on an instrument input up, certainly not to the point that it starts clipping. IMO this is just snakeoil in a mediocre spec interface.
So awesome!
Didn't think I needed another interface... I was wrong. Pre-ordering one right now!
Same, I am side-eyeing my IK Media AXE I/O when looking at the enhance switch feature...
First! Blackstar though a global household name is still underrated.
That enhance feature is KILLER!
you the best blackstar, thanks!
What's the roundtrip latency numbers? These are crucial but you don't publish them anywhere.
There is no way to guarantee something like that with just an interface.
@@Pete1980ification To guarantee what?
Sounds nice
