No solo la has devuelto a la vida además la has llevado hasta el siglo XXI, yo aquí en España, estoy haciendo do lo mismo con una bici de montaña antigua que me regalaron, para reemplazar a la genial Scott Aspect 30 que me robaron el verano pasado, mi bici de montaña antigua, es de rueda 26 pulgadas, pero ya he restaurado la parte mecánica, con lo que la bici, puede circular perfectamente, ahora solo me queda pintarla, la voy a pintar con pintura al horno, y el color que he elegido, es el verde menta, gracias amigo por hacer revivir a bicis, que de otro modo estarían achatarradas=tiradas al vertedero, tú eres un re constructor y un restaurador genial, haces revivir cosas que otros destruyen y desechan, para mi eres un referente igual que lo es mi mecánico, así que amigo mío Hurra hurra hurra! Eres un crack me quito el sombrero 🎩 y me rindo ante tu excelencia.

Nice job, this bike looks great! I have respect for people who can also build wheels. To me you are an all around bike mechanic! 👍 Since I do pretty much what you do to bikes, my one suggestion is use a pipe cutter to cut your steering tube...it is easy, gives a straight and very clean cut....make sure you use the right size. View a few TH-cam videos on how to use it. I've been using this method for close to twenty years and it works great.

Well personally for me, I would have gone with a shimano deore crank and a pair of fox forks and a fizik’s saddle but that’s just me! Remember that cycling is subjective “you do you” But as it stands this was still a balls to the wall build! For me I would love to have that hard tail in my stable! Great build great job! 👏

@@Adi-th3is I totally agree with you sir. I have once a classsic bike but the headtube was 1 inch so i wanted to fit a modern fork so I wielded the headtube with another so it can have a placement for the bearings 😊.

Sick build, only thing IME is the chain will come off easily, no narrow-wide profile on the chainring and no clutch derailleur. Everything else is just fine, nice wheel, nice brakes, nice tyres, also, i would like to know on the durability of that fork. Congrats bro

He had to weld a disc brake mount on the frame didn't he? He did not show that step in the video.
U can actually buy adaptors for that.

@@walterdayrit675 not at all you can break a frame with a disc brake if its not designed to be used with one especially the one in the video as the dropouts are only brazed and he welded straight through that brazing and made that frame weak

Because we dont believe it is the same bike. And even if it is it didnt show a lot of the important steps, such as welding a disc mount, putting the hangar on. And the bike has lost what it was, a comfortable rigid mtb for commutes and canals and light trails

That frame Is your head tube are over size? And the fork too?
Maybe your headtube size is 1" and the steerer tube of the fork is 1 1/8".
Some mountain bikes had a 1 1/8in head tube that still threaded headsets so i think the frame is fine

Me encanto esa restauración Excelente, podrias colocar que piezas utilizaste en la restauración ya que tengo un marco en aluminio igual, al que tu tienes, pero necesito comprar las partes por internet, ya que los proveedores locales tienen unos costos muy altos, en particular esa amortiguación que colocaste marca VENOM ? es de aire ? es para rin 26 ? para dirección estándar, convencional ? es dirección aged ? como la pido ? como pido el grupo shimano y como pido el centro o eje de la bicicleta para esa rosca ? te agradezco si me respondes o alguin me puede ayudar como pido las partes en internet? Gracias
