CGB may own the channel but I come for Blakes antics. Puppy dog eyes and leaning on CGB for a card draw is iconic and totally something I'd do so I love it.
Not gonna lie, the scripted intro that cuts straight into gameplay kinda took away some of the charm of the gameplay. Seeing everyone explain their deck off the cuff at the beginning and listening to the banter was a part of the charm. Felt like you were the fifth player just looking in on a normal game of magic. Now it feels a little "stiff", kinda like the very earliest episodes. Maybe that's just me though.
So a few things Blake missed ... 1. Bellow makes Xenagos (an Enchantment) a 4/4 on his turn. He was saying it was a 6/5 on his attack of Shea. 2. Warmstorm Surge entered the battlefield as a creature and doesnt say "another creature" on it. It should have shot something for 4 damage.
Yes, finally! I was wondering if something had happened. We've been getting Bloom news and spoilers all week and CGB hadnt given us any breakdown. I need his input!
Offspring tokens still enter one at a time. When the 3 Agate Instigators entered, one should enter, then a second one seen by the first, then a third seen by the first two for a total of three damage. But that extra damage is somewhat balanced out by missing that Warstorm Surge saw itself enter as a creature so should have then dealt damage 😅
I'm about halfway through, and it feels like Blake has made a deal with the devil siding with CGB. Also, not getting the Jordan and Pippen reference hurts my heart.
51:28 Agate Instigator doesn't work like that. It should be 3-4 dmg. Offspring costs are paid when the spell is cast, yet the effects don't trigger until the original creature etb. The thing I'm not sure about is whether the 2 offspring triggers would resolve separately or at the same time. If it's separately, then it's 3 dmg. If it's together, then it's 4 dmg.
initial will enter and offspring gives an etb effect of making 1/1 copies, you stack the triggers however you choose but one will enter before the other one will see the other one and the original will see them both for a total of 3 dmg to each opponent.
Am probably gonna build Bumbleflower which will be my first group hug deck, so this helped me learn a lot about how to convert this sort of deck into a win!
First of all way to go for the length of the video, needs more videos like that. It's ironic the same pre-con on Comander at Home won in this match up. I still think Blake should have won 🏆 😢 😕 😞 😔 💔 🏆. I knew Shea would have the squirrel deck.
at 51:27 the agate instigators should deal 3 damage to the table, and not 6, because the offspring abilities are ETB triggers that go on the stack also at 49:33 Xenagos should be a 4/4, not a 6/5 because bello's timestamp is what matters here during Blake's turn
this was the most epic worst possible commander show ever. I loved every second of it and couldn't stop to laugh. CGB should more often play grouphug-decks !
Seedborn on SimicX is brutal. Not having to choose between board development and keeping mana open for interaction wins games easily. I use it with Alchemist Refuge, and it's basically take 3 extra turns. All of the Sorcery speed bounce spells suddenly become Cyclonic Rifts. The land is also now easily fetchable with Sowing Mycospawn.
offspring dont come to the BF together with their parent creature. The parent creature enters which puts the trigger ability part of offspring on the stack to create the 1/1,
Even if Xenagos is considered a creature because the devotion is met doesn’t Bello’s ability still make it a 4/4? From other videos of gameplay with it, it makes Solemn Simulacrum and Vehicles all 4/4s.
@@stevendefeo8424 It's all good. I just watched the VHS of that film every other month or so. Plus, it's almost an out-of-character line from Bruce, but he's putting on an act.
1:07:17 Should have casted Obscuring Haze here, before CGB started drawing cards. I may be wrong, but I don't think he had the counterspell on hand here. Also, always get rid of Seedborn Muse especially on Simic X commanders. It allows them to play at instant speed while still developing board presence.
Can you please write the name of the songs used by rattlesnake in your description? please?! I love your bgm musics and would love to listen to them as I play magic =)
You would have won the game if you gifted the extra turn to Blake. Like even if you don't kill his Commander, as stuff is only animated on his turn, he will have very few defenders
No. Bumbleflower triggers when you cast a spell. The level up is an ability. But it can only be done at sorcery speed. Card isn’t super clear on that. Usually the card will say it can only be activated as a sorcery but I guess they shorted it due to space on the card.
Rewatching it I think they played this correctly - only Raccon Commander get destroyed, Xenagos and Artifacts has indestructable (while Bellow in a battlefield), so they survive the nuke. Haze just blocked damage from CGB creature-swing
@@furseplace but... what does it prevented? I quess it was cast on a wrong time-trigger, it was better to cast it on swing and not on boardwipe... But still Wipe do get Bello out, so destroy was not prevented there and other creatures (Xenagos and Artifacts) has indestructable, so they would not get affected by destroy because of that. So when Haze effect there was used as a "counter-destroy"?
@@furseplaceHe had to play it at that time because Bello allowed it to be a free spell, he was tapped out. He most likely knew CGB was going to full swing at him beforehand.

This group of players is exactly what this card game and commander is all about. Having fun, stupid conversations and slinging spells.
Im pertty sure that warstorm surge would enter as a 4/4 and see itself to do 4 damage if bellow is out
It did in commander at home video 😂

Really enjoyed this game. Cool to see upgraded precons so soon after the decks were spoiled. I like the narration in the intro and outro too!
I watched the very first ones episodes of this commander group and impresses me how much the crew evolved in their interactions and presentation.
Cgb playing group hug. Never thought I'd c the day. Shea was right. Suspicious.
Probably lost a bet.
honestly i seen it as the deck that no1 (besides blake) would want to play, and as a content choice he took it to switch things up

I’m sold on miss bumbleflower, I’m getting that deck
It’s the most fun I’ve had playing magic in a while. Very refreshing
9:56 that Offspring joke was sooo good
Props to the people who decorated the room
Thank you! 😊
I think there needs to be more said about Ben's sweater. The goose is on the loose

Each time CGB says you *may* draw a card and gain 1 life it seems like he is secretly hoping that someone doesn't
I once was a huge fan but now I am an air conditioner 😂
CGB didn't have to do them all so dirty with the Pippin and Jordan joke lol
For anyone building Bello you gotta get a Molten Echoes, it's so funny to double up on all your artifacts and enchantments (for the turn)
The pun levels have ratcheted up like crazy ever since the revamp, especially in these intros 😂😂
I see CGB only wanted to... come out and play!
The 10 seconds following 37:35 had me pissing my pants. CGB's face 🤣😂
Watching Cgb begrudgingly give people card draw is absolutely hilarious and not on my bloomburrow bingo card
I'm glad the recap at the end is back - I really like getting things summed up all neatly like that!
Offspring tokens still enter one at a time. When the 3 Agate Instigators entered, one should enter, then a second one seen by the first, then a third seen by the first two for a total of three damage.

That was a wild game, and not just because of all the critters on the battlefield. Props to Blake for shouting out my favorite musical!
warstorm surge enters as a 4/4 creature so it also should deal 4 damage to any target i believe

The Pippen and Jordan reference and Blake's reaction was too funny.

It’s only like 1 damage but for “Offspring”, the original enters first then the copies will enter after as an ETB trigger.
