Now with global markets, this is happening between the wealthy in the US and the poor in India, China etc. The lower class in the US has been left in a difficult predicament where their cost of living is very high, with a number of wealth migrants moving to the US, and their economic productivity is not much greater than workers in the third world. Ultimately, their labour has become much less productive, but it is very difficult to move to places like the third world where immense levels of wealth are being created.

I'm a libertarian and it's weird how americans need to lose their identity yet it's perfectly ok for other nations to. If I were to go to japan, africa, or south america and try to tell people to become more globalized, i'd be accused of trying to spread "american imperialism". Yet people can tell americans to become more open to other cultures and there's nothing wrong with it.

Corporatism was the economic system fascism adopted and COMPLETELY opposed globalism in its policy alone, going to the point of restricting corporations or in this case corporate groups from operating outside of the nation aka offshoring their labor to foreign sweatshops. Corporatism is exactly what we need to keep owners and their corporations in line with the national interest. What you probably meant was corporatocracy, in which the corporations rule and make up the government alone, with lobbying it’s practically what we have today at times. But under corporatism the ruling government would oversee the corporations.

Firstly, I appreciate the insight into Mr. Bill's stance on politics and governing agencies as of recent, I am extremely thankful he has acknowledged a need for his presence. It has somewhat alleviated the anxiety and anguish I have towards these addictive machines. Secondly, I may just be a nincompoop... but have yoga, meditative practices, and civic ecology been looked into at all by billionaires and government agencies? Or are these concepts still on the fringes of being important. There is factual evidence supporting the life sustaining need for oneself to promote oneself own personal health. If these practices were focuses, along with the science/maths behind alternative energy sources (water, nuclear, wind) and "sustainable" farming we could move along a lot further a whole lot faster. These concepts need to be divulged on amongst these 1% types; if not already. Extremely interested in Bill Gates perspective.
