He has a kickstarter for another expansion right now. November 24. You can get all that with your pledge.
The PDF of those Bookmarks are available at Drivethru RPG, but I did not see the variant monster cards.
I'm so kicking myself for not getting all the cards when Toby did the Realms kickstarter...now I have to wait until they are available in the shop! Don't be like me, just buy all the things!! 😉
Is that the omnibus icon on the back of the box of the 2d6 realm cards? Could the omnibus cards be included in the realm cards?
OOOH... I'll go check. Good catch!
I was just going to come in here and tell you all the monsters from lairs are in the 2d6 Realm Card set.
We carry all the 2d6 product at our store in the USA.
You are currently sold out on the manual and dungeon books. When will you be back in stock?
@@vonVile We have a large shipment coming soon with all new and old books
I have the early version of D100 Dungeon. How does 2D6 Dungeon differ and which is better?
I don't play D100 any longer, only 2D6 and 4AD...
@@thetabletopengineerplays Okay. They look very similar though. I obtained D100 before it became commercial. I don't really play it much so if I am going to pay out for 2D6 it would be useful to know what the differences are and whether it's worth buying 2D6. I guess I will search YT and see if someone has done a comparison and a review.
so 2d6 or 4AD? Have played 4AD and d100...interested in your opinion on that on what to buy or FURTHER purchase.
I'm still playing and enjoying both - if you can only get one, I think my question to you is: Would you prefer a slower or faster type game? 2D6 mapping and combat is more complex than 4AD... 4AD is all about moving forward, fighting monsters, and grabbing loot. Not a lot of detail in the room descriptions and such, so the game is faster paced.
@@thetabletopengineerplays Thanks, I have 4AD and enjoy it (just the core book) but you seemed so enthusiastic about 2d6 and now I have to watch the play videos. Appreciate your videos and insight :)
Umm I have to criticize, his design choice, both those books should have been merged so players can play and go, especially with a name like 2d6 dungeon. You would expect the table codex to be part of the core rules. I would be less critical if it was optional but its not. Thanks for the review I know what not to buy now.
I think if you buy the Table Codex in spiral bound, it makes sense. I didn't do that and I regret it. Because it is offered in spiral bound, it also makes sense NOT to have the core rules part of it as many players like to keep certain tables open such as the room type tables.
@@thetabletopengineerplays Ok I will give you that but then it should be sold together rather than a separate piece as if it isn't neccesary when it is. Are you saying the spiral bound has both, if so I take my criticism back. In either case, I did like your video and gave you a thumbs up because it was pretty thorough. Cheers.
You get both the rules and the codex when you buy it. In some versions they are merged into one book, e.g. the hardback version merges them.
First off, the rules and codex are a single purchase, second the core rules and the codex for the first dungeon level are available for free, so you can even try out the game before you buy. Toby Lancaster is very much NOT trying to cheat anyone out of their hard-earned money.
I never said he was trying to cheat anyone so please don't put words in my mouth that I never said. I still stand by what I said, nothing you said changes my opinion on it. They should be sold together then; nobody buys a book for one level of play. I can only go by what you presented in the video. It sounded like you have to have both to run a campaign, if this is not the case it should have been more clearly stated.
