Pretty Cool how you made the brake disc...If there was a way to bolt 🔩 outter brake disc on but leave just a little slack / play between the outter & discs. You'd have a DIY true floating disc brake. 👍.

I'm sure I've already said it before but this is very similar to what I want.... Something that looks like a Phatmoto bicycle with pedals. But also has rear suspension, 18in wheels, motorcycle tires, Gemini hubs & reinforced steel frame, trong enough, to safely cruise at 55mph.... With a rear rack, triple bag set up, along with the front rack and maybe storage bags on the forks that the bike packers use..
I can ride the back roads at 55 into the nearest city & won't be bothered if I ride on the shoulder of the road like an bicycle or ebike.
That way a 90mpg 4 stroke engine will only cost $2 for the 40 mile round trip VS a 30mpg motorcycle or car.
Eventually use it to ride cross country. Maybe up through Canada & Alaska if my body will physically allow me to without falling apart.

Ya i would love to make a steel frame eventually.

@engineunknown2 A suspension seatpost might help keep some stress off the frame...Hopefully the aluminum frame is now reinforced enough.... I'm betting that 224?cc engine will do 55 mph easy... If not it will with a few mods.

It should be close to that when I had a 212 on this bike it 53 top out with the 50t sprocket

@engineunknown2 I might email Phatmoto & suggest they build a rear suspension steel frame with the gas tank still in the top tube & use 2 mountain bike shocks in the rear. Like an old school motorcycle frame, instead of a mono shock. That way a heavier rider with luggage will have enough suspension with the 2 bike shocks & a lighter rider can just set them softer or buy 2 softer MTN bike shocks. Sell it stock with low end cheap shocks. Or offer shock choices.... I'd sell my motorcycle 🏍️ ,& buy a Phatmoto if it was steel & full suspension. 🆗 I won't bother you with anymore comments 😂

Ebikeguy's bike went 100mph on a himalo fork. No better endorsement than that for me. But I like dual springers.
Looking forward to your next welding video 😂

I have been reading that 3” tires on 4” rims is actually dangerous, especially at high speeds. Compass makes 26x4” street/slick tires.

Ya they can be. if you seat the tire right they work pretty good. They can be hard seat some times but it can be done
