I have to admit the price was the selling point for me on the Flextail. I saw the value in this type of pump but didnt want to spend the money. Flextail had a special running right around Christmas and got this thing for $60 shipped! Now it's my every day pump replacing the floor pump. Saves me 10mins per ride fumbling with the pump and gauge and I replaced my ride/tire kit with this thing. I saved a 1/4 lb (yeah, not much) and a little volume in my pouch by replacing my Co2 Cartridge, Co2 Adapter, and small handpump. I just use the zip close plastic bag that comes in the packaging to protect against moisture and drop it in my shirt pocket. best buy of 2024
You are right! This is a game changer for most. It's the kind of thing now one wants to spend 100 bills on. But once tried... worth every penny. Should be $50 though for broader acceptance and improving humanity :)
Cycplus Pro is legend! Reliability is awesome too. Metal case takes a lickin. Customer support is good. Not waterproof so put in the included bag if gonna get soaked.
I purchased a Topeak E- Booster electric pump after buying a generic electric pump from AliExpress.....the one from China was not accurate! out by 5-6 psi totally no good to me. Got a refund after returning. I then bought the Topeak E-Booster pump 👍 Made in Taiwan, 600mA battery, Very accurate digital display/gauge which you can present your desired pressure.....I run 21 psi and checked against my Topeak Digital tyre Gauge, it's spot on! I have a video short showing this if you're interested. It's Not cheap, but if you want quality and accuracy, then I think it's worth it. (UK)
Fantik X9 is the best, in my opinion. Yes, it is slightly bigger, but it has an attached hose, and also a gauge to see your psi. You can also set the pressure to what you want. AND it only costs 49.95 on Amazon.
Great to have a cheaper option for sure. But let's not exaggerate and say it's best. It's 4 times heaver and about 4x bigger. Speed is the same. Capacity is better since it can inflate 8 tires instead of 4 mtb tires. This is their lightest model www.amazon.com/Fanttik-X9-Ace-Electric-Schrader/dp/B0CLTTB86X/ The essence of the Cycplus and the Flextail is its about the size of an airpod case. Has a hose too if an extension is needed
@EMTBReview About the only thing better with the ones you are reviewing is the size. Come on, if you're worried about the "additional weight," just don't eat that extra taco and soda....
Isn't better to have the gauge facing up, so one can see what the pressure is as your are inflating? I guess it depends how you are mounting the inflator, with the valve stem at the bottom or with the valve stem on the top.
Exactly. Valve stem high and upside down or low and upright. I find that for this tool, and floor pumps in general, it is more ergonomic to have the valve on top and upside down since one is generally standing up. So the guage on the same side as the valve is more convenient.
I'm a gadget lover but these electric pumps is waste of money so I just use a $10 mini pump and Topeak D2 gauge which I recommend everybody to invest in if you want a accurate measure of airpressure.
A $10 mini pump and a guage. It takes about 300 strokes and 5 minutes of labor to get a tire from 0-24 psi. And to set pressure, one has to pump, check, pump, check. These things take seconds using the AS2 Pro or Flextail. And they take up 1/4 the space and weight.

I just bought the cycplus yesterday. Thanks for not telling me I made a mistake.

I bought this on AliExpress for 25 dollars. Its replacing the original cyplus mini pump. This one pumps faster and i like that it has a display
Great to hear. Do you have a link to share?
Did it take 6 weeks to ship or was it faster. Any customer support available?
Great information, thanks
You are most welcome. These are not cheap but worth every penny!!!!
Would be great if they could make a mount for the underside of the top tube.
That is a great idea!!! The easiest to access tool is the one that gets used most.

I have the X9 Ace and have used it to seat a tubeless tire on my emtb. It's big and heavy but worth it IMO
And I'm pretty sure that extra weight did not break your back...😂😂😂
@skimtb that is some crazy logic. I do have a 3 lb portable compressor for my car. Way better and faster and will pump up my 29er 20 times
