If you're triggering the sample manually there is no need to mute or unmute since the mute only effects the triggers. Also, no need to hold FUNC when using the "Control All" function (It's not called global)
Once you’ve set up all 8 audio tracks to play different sounds based on the same sample, in a pleasing chord, you could resample that and get back seven of your tracks again.
definitely an option that would work to free up some more tracks! i love internal resampling on this machine. however one nice thing about using multiple tracks for polyphony on the digitakt is that you can apply unique LFOs to each track and add more depth/swirling effects to make a subtly shifting drone! thanks for tuning in :)
@@illegalgiant_ External sampling yes, but also when using the internal re-sampling system with it's stereo internal FX? Because when choosing your re-sample source it gives you the option of Left/Right/L+R Internal. I should just try it out myself...

This is exactly the reason why I am hoping to get the Digitakt! Brilliant video
Thanks! It’s a great tool, enjoy 😊
This was helpful.
Tried it on my new Syntakt.
Best wishes for your continued success.
thanks so much!
Correct me if I'm wrong, but for global edit can't you just hold down the track button without func?
yeah probably! haha I learned this machine 4 years ago and this is just how I've been doing it ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ thanks for tuning in!
yeah, it's a shame FUNC + TRK + Tune doesn't work like FUNC + Tune

also sampling is in mono!

@@goonfish still summed to mono
When you’re saying “one full step” you mean one octave right?
Correct! After doing some reading I learned that the two terms are certainly not interchangeable haha. Thank you for pointing this out.
