I bought this printer but secondhand and no cartridges at all. So i buy black ink only. But cannot work. Is it both container of ink colour and black is a must? Even the colour ink container empty?

Both containers are must..... Put the coloured cartridge back, it doesnt matter it is empty or filled but both the spots should have cartridge. I hope it helped. Thank you!!
