@CarlJohnson-ps8nv But WW2 doesn't deserve any hate of the graphics and anything. But sadly it got old. Never forgotten.
What's so strange about AW's weapon choice is how so many of the weapons are either really old or just out of place for the setting (not that throwback weapons are bad). Plus, there are plenty of weapons ripped almost directly from Ghosts for no real reason at all.

@@freedoomer2524 it’s electrically-fired, with the rounds stacked on top of one of each other. the real weapon was called the “MAUL” and used ammunition technology from Metal Storm

Yes. The 1911, AK 12, AK 47, M16, STG, M1 Garand, SVD, MP 40 and Sten is very advanced :)

There's at least one variant that's non-akimbo. It still looks awkward as hell, since it was never meant to do that.

@@DXXMGUY2024 Well it isn't anymore if you are on PC you can download S1X mod that gives server browser to the game and there is a cheat that can give you all the things in the entire game.
They added variants midway through the game's life cycle that allow you to get a solo SAC3. The variants all act like MP11 variants. You can't get a vanilla solo SAC3.
a lot of people retroactively hate aw because it was the first jet pack cod but back in the day it was pretty fun, especially after how slow ghosts was. I wish they would have had aw be the only cod series with double jumps and had them make one every 3 years in the rotation while keeping blackops/mw boots on the ground

I always thought the IMR was an awesome weapon design. I mean a gun that is constantly 3D printing it's own ammo supply, that's some cool future shit right there
Too bad that the 3D printing is literally one burst of ammo every 4 seconds. You have to wait 32 seconds just to get one magazine of ammo back. It's a neat concept but it is just not that notable in practice. It's supposed to define the gun but it just doesn't.
Gameplay wise it only makes players not to go gunblazing nonstop in Campaign and MP
In the story I think it prints pretty fast
The IMR was a really good gun imo. The fact that it printed 4 rounds every 5 seconds and up close was always a 1 burst kill was just so appealing to me. I would run it with a M1 Irons whenever I ran out of ammo with it, and then I would just swap back to the IMR when I had enough bullets.
@@weakestlink20 that was a MP thing. In the campaign it printed fairly well. I mean in the real world, 2 full mags every minute would be an absolute game changer for both 3D printing technology as well as guns.

The maps are actually interesting and different compared to Blops 3 and IW
Also the Blunderbuss is so much fun
the blunderbuss has the most pellets per shot of all COD games! its got like 16 compared to the standard 8 pellets!
Out of the futuristic cods (excluding bo2) this one takes the cake for the multiplayer

Sorry but in my opinion BO3’s MP is F tier. You got simplistic 3 lane maps that barely make use of the advanced movement in comparison to AW. The advanced movement, while more fluid, lacks the flavor of mechanics such as exo dodge and exo slam. Specialist abilities that do not belong anywhere near CoD and its formula. A rather basic selection of weapons in comparison to AW.
Then we have AW that has dynamic, complex maps that make full use of the advanced movement. In addition we have customizable streaks, exo dodge, exo slam, exo abilities, a unique selection of weapons and equipment, and the best character customization in the series.

AW is one of the most underrated cod's if not the most. I loved playing this with my dad and sisters :)

MK14, SVU (as SVO even though one’s a marksman and the other is a sniper), ARX-160, AK12, Lynx, PDW, Bulldog, Ameli and MP443 Grach
Technically games copy a large percentage of real life weapons so i don't see anything wrong with it

The KF5 was so underrated. It was really good, just overshadowed by the asm1. The HBRA3 was also really good

I've always despised this game. When your multiplayer system is built around guns that were clearly pay-to-win, along with buying zombies as "DLC" instead of it being included, It's no wonder why some people put this as "the downfall" of COD.

recently been playing it and ive been having a blast
pretty much the game started that pay-to-win trope that COD has been before 2019. but AW is fun on its core with some great gunplay, weapons and the movement although its implementation is dog-balls can also be enjoyable when you get use to it

I loved the weapon sounds in advanced warfare. It was unlike anything cod as a series had done before. And the explosions have that punch to them. So damn cool.

@@senorquack5182 i actually like aw generally, but the animations aren't strong. you can tell just how much more stylish the old infinity ward m16 and mp44 animations are compared to something like the ak12 which has that really janky anim on insertion.

I've played with the XMG before it's not bad but my problem about it is when you use the lockdown mode you can't move I hate that a lot also I can imagine if the XMG was in zombies but it's not.
Why are the smg and assault rifle the only ones to show the mag being saved in tactical reloads? I feel like it’s related to the double tap reloads but aren’t they on all weapons

Its a muzzle loader. Those cant use cartridges unless its a paper cartridge

This game is one of the best futuristic FPSs, alongside Halo series. I was so amazed for its trailer in the past, and also the gameplay was exactly what they advertised.
