I think it's funny how a decent number of Black Ops 2's animations are simply "Modern Warfare 3 but slightly faster".
That period of CoD from 2007-2013 was absolutely goated.

You gotta remember IW was in shambles when MW3 was being made because Vince zampella and Jason west got kicked out during MW2's hayday.

The MP7 was so insane in MW and Black Ops 2. There was a literally suspicious cool guns..

MW3 really nails that thunderous "CRACK!" sound on every guns. I love it so much.

Infinity Wards always had more immersive gunsounds, the new MW remake ones they even boosted it still a bit up.
Though I have to say for Treyearch they had mostly a much more realistic sound compared to MW3 back on 2011. But for that it's nearly always the exact same sound, just sometimes a bit higher pitched, sometimes a bit lower pitched depending on which caliber...
Up to MW3 I guess they invented their own sounds for the most guns, partly sounding "tinny" I'd say. Well firearms originally don't sound like that.
What Inifinity Wards doing totally better compared to Treyearch, guns are really loud, ignitions are high pitched and shots will produce clattering echo.
Treyearch need to adjust that a bit more, too besides of needing a variety of sounds. (-> though I totally dunno the sounds in Black Ops 3 and 4 since I disliked this Unreal Tournament Crysis copy.. Maybe the gun sounds were already adjusted).

I got an idea, why not make a WWII campaign, Multiplayer should be modern warfare, and zombies from Black ops. And remove skill base match making, only keep that in ranked! If they make that happen, I'm sold!

Black ops 2 is better than Modern warfare 3. Mw3 reload animation is smooth and bo2 reload animation is not smooth, simple. Also, bo2 reload animation and sound designs is way more realistic than bo1. Even black ops 1 demolishes mw3
Edit: Diamond in black ops is also better than mw3. All camo skins are better than mw3. Black ops 2 is legendary game.
Bo2 is more underrated game than mw3.
